I like to travel, see new places and experience new stuff. I've been out of state several times.. im from california. I been to:

- orlando florida: went to disneyworld and universal
- hawaii
- newyork
- canada
- nevada vegas too many times
- vietnam twice

where do i want to go.. hong kong.. japan.. go back to new york.. love to visit hawaii again :) and def go to europe; parents went last spring break and i wasnt able to come along :/

(well, I didn't neccessarily travel each of these places, most of the Europe places were airports and military bases) But I was all around the middle east when I was an infant because my mother worked as a nurse in Jordan and UAE for a while before going back to Philippines and Japan. As for Japan, when I was younger, I was all around visiting relatives.

Heh. I was born in Syracuse, New York, but my first memories are from my young childhood in Florida. Mom and Dad were, for lack of better terms, "bikers." They often went to shows like Sturgis, Bike Week, and other motorcycle rallies and events. During my seventh or eigth summer, Mom started getting a bit more into her Native American ancestry (part of her lineage is the Mohawk tribe), and we began attending Pow Wows, and selling a few of the crafts the various members of my family (excluding myself) made.

Dad, a full-blooded Italian, was a master leathercraftsman even back then, having done much saddle work, biker apparel, and even some Native American apparel--he was well-suited for the crafting. My mother and sister jumped headlong into the beadwork, and both made very intricate pieces that have sold for thousands of dollars since (though my sister was definately better than my mother). My brother started getting into the primitive crafts of flint-knapping, quillwork, hide-tanning, and many other things... Me? Well, I was the black sheep of the family--I was never really good with my hands at anything, or at least not at the leel they were. I remember trying to carve a bunny into piece after piece of leather, and it always turned out looking more like a flower. XD My tasks, therefore, were more of a manual labor type, or watching our booth at the various events.

Soon we were doing PowWows and biker events year-round, except for in the dead of winter in which there were very few (during these winters, we often stayed with friends in the Southeast for a few weeks). Our home was the 1972 Winnebago we hauled our stuff in, or (more frequently) the 20-foot tipi that we set up at the events, usually with a front-porch-like awning to display our wares (at the events where we didn't just set up the marquee, which was more like a tented store than anything else).

My sister danced in cometitions for some money, usually getting first place, but almost ALWAYS at least placing in the top three. My brother and father (and eventually and not entirely by choice, myself) sang on the Drum for some money, as well, at these events. We sold our crafts for the bulk of our money, most of which went toward gas and food to get us to the next Pow Wow. More than anyone I know, we were really rather like gypsies.

When we were travelling so much, I truly detested it. I would have given anything for a stable home. I wanted a place where I could know that I would wake up every day with the same view. I wanted some kind of permanency to my life. The high point of each year was when we went to a three-week-long event in Chambers' Farm, Florida, because I knew that we would always be there. It's where we went to get supplies from other vendors, and to trade our supplies to them. Often, when I was lucky enough to be at a PowWow in a relatively large city, I would try to sneak away and hike for miles trying to find a library. Books were my only permanency--the imaginary worlds I read of in my fantasy novels were always there, always the same. I made myself a home in my mind with those same novels.

When I escaped to one such library and discovered the Internet, I had found a new favourite home. It did not matter the distance I was seperated from these people I found to talk to online, for they would always be there, they would always be in one imaginary place, like the imaginary home I had created in my mind. If I was in Seattle, Washington, or in Daytona, FLorida, or even in Riverside, California, these people really didn't care--it was like we weren't seperated at all, because the 'Net was based on long distances. Sometimes, I think that the 'Net was always more of a Home to me than anyone else I knew, even the most devoted of nerds I met online....

But I stray from my story. I truly despised travelling so much, when I was younger. Now, however, I've been rooted to the same place here in Ohio for just over two years, and I find myself yearning for the life of freedom I had while travelling. It is strange that we never know what we really have, until we have it no more. Even stranger, as much as I yearn for the road again, I honestly think that were I travelling yet again, I would want to settle down. Hah! Maybe I just whine too much.

I might have made it seem really horrible... But in truth, it wasn't. Heh. I experienced so many things that most people three times my age would never have dreamed to be able to do, seen places and attended events that I'll be able to tell stories about when I'm an old man, sitting on a rocking chair and boring young kids with. ;)

Looking back on it now, I am glad that I was able to have those experiences, and sorry for the grief I gave my family over our situation.

if you go to Canada there are some city's you'll want to see but its a lot of travel.

Halifax or PEI (east coast) if you like seafood and coastal places not a ton of excitement but nice places.

Quebec city: great restaurants, very scenic like the chateau Frontenac and cobble streets, boutiques ...etc..

Montreal: night clubs , old Montreal, restaurants, great shopping, lots of arts.

Toronto: best places to see are the large tourist places like the science center, CN tower ...etc...

there are the prairie city's like Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon ...etc..
these are more quiet places if you like large flat places look them up for things to do.

Edmonton: this is a fringe prairie city has the west Edmonton mall(huge shopping mall) its an oil town pretty prosperous not tons to do there but I'm sure they do have some stuff.

Calgary: most famous for the Calgary stampede (its ten days of extreme cowboy-ism) during winter there's great skiing close and the winter Olympic venues the start of the mountains (if your into big mountains you should drive from Calgary to Vancouver[get a car with good breaks])

Jasper: skiing town great views of the rocky mountains upper ranges

Lake Louise: Skiing town beautiful chateau hotel gorgeous views.

Banff:also ski town but has year round sports good night clubs lots of wildlife that even hang out in town.

Vancouver: Stanley park, Robson street shops, restaurants, Ocean beaches, ski mountains, mountain-biking and most other sports, great views.

Vancouver island: ferry ride to, old growth forest, city's like Victoria and Nanaimo very scenic.

if you really want to see Canada spend one or two months here.

if your only coming for two weeks then Quebec, Montreal, Vancouver, Vancouver island. about 3-4 days each.

Last time we were in England I was four and remember nothing because we only stayed in the airport. Japan would be cool to visit, and also see family friends there. We haven't seen them since I was maybe 5 or 7, and it'd be nice to go say hi before they come back to the U.S. The only reason I want to go to South Korea is because I have a friend or two there, one of them saying they have nice clothes there XD I'd die to go back to Vietnam again and see my relatives. I've only seen my grandfather, aunts, uncles, and cousins of one side of my family once when I was four. I don't remember much, so I'd love to see them again.

There are a couple for me...

First of is Japan for a few reasons. One is obviously to become an uber-otaku or ninja. Then I can also visit some more amusement parks, since I'm a rollercoaster junkie :doindadom

Secondly, Trinidad. I mostly want to do this because it's where the steel drum (aka the best instrument ever) was origionated. I would probabbly join in on all the steel goodness here, and join one of the famouse bands.

- Macedonia: My entire family is there, but it's boring unless you go on archaeological/nature trips, then it's awesome
- Germany: Pretty country, want to stay there for longer (layover)
- Serbia: A few times when I was verra little. I hardly remember it but I've been there
- Mexico: A week in Puerta Vallarta with my family. The landscape was excellent

Want to visit:

- Japan: Ultra interesting culture, cool fashion, and the home of everything anime
- Germany (for longer): I want to complete my BA there on transfer, because it's my major but also an interest in the culture
- Russia: So much of the world's history rests here. And the food is awesome (plus, it'll give me a chance to work on my Russian). I also want to get married there in a cathedral
- Turkey: Tons of historical sites and pretty beaches
- Sweden: Just plain lovely. Also has great food, beautiful language
- Ireland: Castles. Greenery. Heck, I wanna travel all over the UK in a beat-up old Mini

Seeing the stunning amount of former journeys at the age, I've really washed up with little luck of the draw. My only treks include frequent trips from here(Mexico) to the U.S. and back, weekly almost, aside from that I'm quite lacking in experience.

Desiring:

Brazil/Argentina - the enviroment and people are really a marvel(enough to cause some drooling), highly physical culture, amazing accent adaptations, I'm applying to São Paulo University for an opportunity at life!

Spain/Portugal/Italy - the stunning architecture and an open opportunity to relate are quite luxurious attractions, but I'll probably simple end up in an inexpensive tour rounding about all three

Finland - the land of contrasting frost and sun was a spectacle since my early childhood, not only that but I've aquired several finnish friends who I'd love to confront in due time

Thailand - Sometime during my youth spending a year in Bangkok would prove an extraordinary desire, the culture of perfect harmony between meditation and a thought provoking rumble. Both welcomes a palm and fist, their stray away Buddhist ideals have inspired me for quite a time.

A shame to this is that none of these will probably occur within five, nor ten years!
Gah made me realize that I really gotta proceed at an even quicker pace -_-

I didn't really like it when I was in China. But maybe that's 'cause my gandparents xP We had to do all those things my grandparents wanted to do.
But yeah.. I hope the next time I go to China, it's much nicer than that time.

Oh, and I visited France.. like 2 times. But I didn't really see much. We only went out dinner with family in Paris.

I want to see more of the world, like England, USA, Canada, Singapore and more.
Maybe sometime when I've the money for it.

Heh. I haven't travelled as much as I'd like. So far I've been to:

British Columbia - Bit of a cheat. I was born there but I don't remember it.
Ontario - Toronto, Ottawa and other places. I did live in Ontario, so I guess it stands to reason. :P
Quebec - Montreal to study. Also went to Quebec City while I was at it.
Japan - Studied in Tokyo, but did a lot of journeying across the country: Kamakura, Hakodate, Sapporo, Hakata, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Odawara, etc.
United Kingdom - Am here now for grad school. All I've seen so far is London, though. This can't stand. XD Must see more.

Hong Kong is amazingly awesome. Sooo much cheap stuff you can buy..sooo much unique clothes.. Anyway, don't come to England, it's as crap as hell IMO.

I travel abroad only every two years..though I might go Hong Kong in June, depending on what my parents say >,< Anywhose, I'd love to go Japan though. MMmm..Japan.
