hmmmm its kinda difficult 4 me 2 choose...like both equally...each has its own style... naruto stirs my emotions...d episodes takes me on a whirlwind of anxiety (esp when it comes to fight scenes)...sadness (esp when characters had their flash backs on childhood days: gaara, chouji, naruto, sasuke, haku, kimimaro, neji)...u also feel for naruto's determination n will to prove to others...

As for bleach, one thing i love d anime is that it has definitely less flasbacks than naruto n d story gets more super action pack with each episode n d fight scenes are juz great..u can also feel for ichi's determination to protect his family n rescue rukia...

On d whole...serious...i can't choose...love them both! :D

if we are talkin bout anime I'd say bleach>naruto. -> Naruto is filled with ghey additions to the manga, and I do not like the voices a lot.
if we are talkin bout manga I'd say naruto=bleach.

Bleach.

The anime doesn't suffer from the unecessary fillers like Naruto, and I ADORE the music. They actually make an effort to show the characters in different clothes, unlike Naruto.

The manga. Well, the manga just seems to have a more mature plotline. I've yet to see an execution in Naruto, or have some of the insane plot twists that Bleach has popped on us as of late. And Bleach has a lot more.. ambiguous characters. Even the characters we know well have some hidden agendas that the reader is unaware of.

In terms of manga, Bleach is roughly 152.63 times better than Naruto. I still like Naruto a lot though, it's just that Bleach is better. Bleach seems more mature than Naruto, and I personally like the art in Bleach much better. I think Bleach is more dramatic and has better character interaction. Naruto is a bit more immature, and it's way more of a battle manga than Bleach.

In terms of anime, I don't know because I've never seen Naruto anime. Bleach is pretty good though. I like the dramatic soundtrack, and it's very close to the manga, at least so far. However, I think the character art is incosistent. Sometimes, they look very different from episode to episode.

Actually it depends on the mood. haha... seriously. Naruto is indeed cool but I think the author is really overdoing it, there are like more than 5 people in the "I got some senses beaten into me by Naruto" club *JK* I mean, really, it happens again and again~ like everyone is affected by Naruto's determination when they get beaten by him, and bad guys suddenly turn to good ones after just one fight. Well, but i think that is the only weakness. Other than that, Naruto rox!!!
About Bleach, I guess it's more funny in some sense and the drawing just rox!! and the style is damn cool too. I mean, the drawing style in Bleach is just really UNIQUE but still it looks nice. [naruto doesn't look as cool though] and the storyline is good too, and there are various types of characters, most of the guys are cool in their own way-you have to admit that- most of the guys in Bleach are cool. Each has his own way. That's why when i read Bleach I don't get bored. And there are more twists in the storyline that makes it rather more interesting than Naruto [not saying that naruto is boring, but the storyline is rather simpler] Well...........so after saying all this crap I think I choose Bleach. :D Heh. One more reason: Hitsugaya drives me crazy more than Itachi-Sasuke-Neji-Gaara did. Wow~ Haha... I dunno what's wrong with me hahaha.

As for the questen: bleach vs. naruto, I'd have to say bleach, both manga and anime, especially the anime. The anime is not as slow running as naruto, more fights etc. and whatever Chihiro said, because he is really cool!!!

because they are both very good!
but naruto is starting to piss me off because it feels like
its not something new :naruto fight, he gets beaten up in the begining
but he has some super ninjutsu and kicks the other persons ass, then the person is suddenly all friendly because naruto starts to brag about him gonna

It feels like Bleach has more variation and its so well drawn.
so for the moment i think i would chose Bleach, but naruto is still a very good

I would say Bleach Anime because it moves very fast as opposed to naruto in which everything stretches to great lengths as well as so many flashback dedications.

Manga wise Bleach is great because every chapter so far has action in it as well as suspense.

Overall Bleach because Naruto just owns everyone and they join him which isnt the case in Bleach characters will be who they are and only move for their own ideals. Kenpatchi just loves fighting and thinks that the Zampakto is just a tool and after Ichigo beats him he dosent change. Renji starts off fighting Ichigo but he joins him to save Ryukia.

I relate to both anime's quite well ichigo is like my attitude twin, but naruto's got that deeply etched pride and never give up frame of mind i love, i think naruto has lost its buzz for the whole sasuke transforming thing was like ep 105 n hes only been around for 1 proper ep at 127 its just been filler, filler, filler, so far.

I would never choose over watching one for the entirity n never watch the other one, with out both they would end up repetitive, when i first started downloading naruto it was on episode 98, n was on episode 103 by the time i caught up and when bleach came on it was from episode 2, but i've noticed bleach has triple the amount of cool hero poses than naruto has in like 120 episodes.

I like both series equally. I'm only up to episode 101 in Naruto (hopefully my friend gives me the rest tomorrow ><) and I've loved it. Bleach is still only at episode 27 so we'll see how it fairs after it gets to 100+ episodes (assuming it gets that far).

I'm interested to see how dragged out the fights are going to be in Bleach cos there's a lot of them coming up. The Ikaku fight went for 2 eps so I wonder how long the others will go for.

the ikaku fight was short temporally but they did draw it out a bit. i hope no fight goes beyond 4 eps unless its like some mad chain of fights that are all so close together they sort of become one fight. as long as they dont make 10 seconds last 10 eps i think we'll be ok.

Both have high and low points. As an animation major, I can say both series are very good in animation quality (though Naruto is starting to slack, but that will happen after so many episodes), chracter development, and plot development. Bleach may look better at the moment but if it gets to 100+ episodes, it will start to look like Naruto's "cut-budget" episodes...you know what I mean if you've seen the show... -_-

Well, I got referred to Bleach from a Naruto site, so...

The way that Naruto introduces characters is much easier on the mind, like when I was reading the manga for Bleach I was constantly forgetting all the captains and vice captains and their little peoples under them's names...

I think it's unfair to judge the two because Naruto seems like it could be geared towards a younger age (sans the whole porn book reading stuff, etc.), while Bleach is more mature. Also, Naruto is more battle oriented with a storyline rather than a storyline with battles like Bleach, if you know what I mean. But either way, Naruto has great humor and much more characters that you fall for.

I actually liked Bleach because it had so many similarities to Naruto...Ichigo's classmates are like Lee towards Sakura ("I will do anything for you, Rukia!" type thing where she is opening the drink), Ichigo is like the freaking reincarnation of Naruto in the sense of..."Don't underestimate me! I'm not going to die! Lalalala, I'm getting back up even though by all rights I should be dead..."...even Ichigo's rival, Ishida, comes from a very famous lineage and acts all cold and crap just like Sasuke (they're even the same actor). And Urahara reminds me of Kakashi because he has a mysterious background and is Ichigo's teacher with the same tone of voice. Hell, even the demon fox inside Naruto resembles the hollow/Zangetsu because they both can heal/supply energy to their owners.

Bleach seems better now to me, because there's more of that adult fighting adult feeling rather than kids fighting adult feeling that you get in Naruto. Naruto does seem to be getting nowhere in the anime, but you just wait until they make part 2 of the manga into anime ;)

Anime: Bleach --> Naruto. Naruto is taking too damn long with the anime, but that's because of the way the storyline is built in the manga. keep in mind that Naruto has 100 more episodes than Bleach, though.

Manga: too hard to compare, I like the art style of Kubo Tite better, but story-wise, the plot development has too much of a difference. Bleach seems like it's only just beginning compared to naruto.

Storyline:
I personally like the way naruto's setting is already in the surreal, in the past, more historical. There's undoubtedly alot going on in the story of Naruto, and although i see many calling it less mature than bleach (since the characters are younger and their actions, aside from theirfighting skills, seem rather childish), I disagree... I think it's more about the setting... come on now, Naruto is living and breathing the ninja world and rivalry between 5 other states.

I find Bleach more *typical*... there's a teenager who is *normal* and living *everyday life* until he meets something/someone other-worldly. Although the plot development from there is awesome, I think the setting is quite typical, going back and forth between the shinigami world and the present. Also, I think the art style of the hollows were quite gruesome... they should have looked *nicer* i think... dunno how to explain, but i like the "monsters" in naruto better like Kyuubi and Shukaku, and others that are part of the *kuchiyose no jutsu like Gama-bunta, pakkun, etc.

I think Ichigo is definitely better drawn than Naruto, and i agree that Bleach is more "mature" in a sense that the characters are less driven solely by their emotions; they have developed their skills too.

regarding Bleach, I definitely like the setup of the Gotei 13, and I'm sure the *confusing* and *too many characters* at present will develop... but for now, I personally would like to see more of the characters in action :)

Well, to be perfectly honest, neither are great, but both are good. Naruto is really annoying at the moment because it is taking so long to get to the end of the Naruto/Sasuke fight. Grrrrrr.

Bleach is good and lighthearted fun. Both have little or no real depth of character or any real character development. However, I watch both and buy the manga, so i may sound a little hypocritical! Both have helped my japanese greatly, but then also hindered it (I find my self saying dattebayo a LOT!).

Probably Bleach - its newer and the characters are a little fresher and they don't keep on having chases through forests (and on and on - ohhh and another chase through the forests of konoha!)

Bleach or Naruto? God I had a four day long argument with a friend of mine about that ... neither one of us won, she still says Naruto, I still say Bleach.

First of all I HATE Naruto anime, I only watch it when I get really bored and run out of things to watch completely. The reason is the flashbacks and the fillers. I can not enjoy an anime that spends about 10 minutes of every episode in flashbacks and shows flashbacks of stuff that happened in that same episode!!! It drives me insane. The Naruto manga is much better in my opinion (who cares if I can't quite see the fights ...) Bleach is better in a sense because there aren't that many flashbacks.

The biggest reason for me is probably the characters, I really like the main characters in Bleach while I can't stand either Sasuke or Sakura in Naruto.

Also I think that the idea for Bleach is more interesting. It's a whole lot darker and mature. I like the fact that they constantly toy with the idea of death, I find it a lot more interesting than Naruto's basic plot line. Not to say that I don't like Naruto completely: I read the manga, but I like it a lot less.

i choose naruto... hehe im on a bleach forum so im not sure whether i should express my undying love for narutoo... but bleach is good and everything, in the technical stuff. but naruto is much more emotionally touching for some reason. also, i think the story of naruto is much more deep and complicated than bleach. bleach is really kewl, but it has less depth in my opinion. the music is really kewl and stuff but i thin naruto has much more character analysis. also some ppl say naruto is very predictable, but i dont think so if u watch it in a normal state. some fans just think too hard about whats gonna happen anyway bothe are KEWL!!!

I personally liked Naruto best during the chuunin shiken 1st and 2nd stages--> lots of teamwork, SASUKE was still un-evil, and got to see more interaction b/w the characters. Also, 5-daime arc was good...I think the Sasuke-capturing arc has gone on way too long... i dunno, i think there was too much going on during this ark i.e. flashback on kimimaro's life and stuff... I still love the story of Naruto.

I'm up to date with the anime but unfortunatly not the manga. I agree, the sasuke retrieval mission was dragged on FAR too long. However, the nexr EP seems to be the last of it. About damn time aswell.

DEFINATELY BLEACH! BLEACH FOR LIFE!!!! i used to be a HUGE fan of Naruto but they keep having flashbacks, flashbacks... these days, the flashbacks take about half the episode!!! after waiting the whole week for them to release a new Naruto ep, I don't think that you would be very pleased to watch a Naruto ep jammed up with flashbacks!
Plus, the battles are also DRAGINGGGG... it may be interesting but it's LLLLOOONNNGGG.

Bleach is straightforward and the battles are action-packed... though the bleach is a bit too predictable.... Ichigo meets a tough opponent, he's gonna lose... suddenly he go like so strong or the part where he had to made that circle thingy... you obviously know he's gonna outdo eveyone else... that's one of the weaknesses of bleach.

recently naruto's storyline, anime fillers and manga, have been dragging abit and not up to notch...so right now it would be bleach..cuz theres alot of action and the accraner fight has me hookedalso i like how both mangas/animes have so many mysteries waiting to be solved...
also the complex relations of characters is cool...as well as how many different chars there are

I'm a fan of both series, but I'll have to say Bleach now. Don't get me wrong, but Naruto is good, but I prefer Bleach more since it is more modern and I can relate to the characters more. I perfer the art style more, and the manga chapters are pretty good to read over and over again. Sometimes they don't get old. I agree that the hollows could have looked a little better. Both have enjoyable humor but, once again Bleach FTW. Like Rukia showing her explanations through her not-so-good art, and then Ichigo saying how it was hard to comprehend due to her crappy drawings. And Ichigo's dad, Isshin he is one of the funniest characters in Bleach and anime history. Now how can you not laugh at him trying to dropkick or ambush Ichigo in the morning when he wakes up, or jump him the second he walks through the door. Also Naruto and Bleach are in the midst of revealing some secrets. Also I like how Bleach surprised us like revealing to us that Isshin was a shinigami, and that Chad and Inoue being around Ichigo a lot allowed them to develop special powers due to him constantly leaking his spiritual power. I also like Bleachs fights and art style, which is more mature. Also they have less flashbacks, so that's a plus. So Bleach wins, but that doesn't mean that Naruto isn't good.

I recently started reading Bleach because I got so fed up with Naruto. The first 100 episodes of Naruto were really good, but it's been horrible for the last 50+ episodes due to crappy fillers. I feel the Naruto manga has really gone downhill, too.

I haven't seen too many of the Bleach anime but so far I haven't quite enjoyed them as much as the early Naruto episodes, although they are still far superior to the more recent Naruto offerings. The Bleach manga has been consistently good.

Bleach also has fight scenes that can compare to Naruto's also. Bleach has that better edge though. Naruto has those darn flashbacks...

I think Naruto is good, but I'm a samurai and sword lovin' fan, this is why animes like Samurai Champloo, Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai Deeper Kyo, and other animes with swords, like BLEACH, of course, of my kind of anime, haha.

Also, I strangely like animes that involve witchcraft or is futuristic-like, kinda like Cowboy Bebop, which was an awsome anime btw and Outlaw Star, but they can't be about Giant Fighting Mobile Robots, like Gundam Wing, Eureka Seven, and Neon Genesis Evangelion. My bad, sorry about the spoilers. I just went onto explaining my choice. Naruto's fillers have made me stop watching the series, until the real episodes are back. Naruto is for teens, and so is Bleach. But Bleach is for older teens, and plus it's going to be put on Adult Swim where all the good dubs and shows are. It's obvious that they'd put it on AS since it's more mature and hopefully they'll keep all the cussing and blood. I easily got hooked to Bleach after the first couple of chapters.

As for storyline content, I would vote for Naruto. The story is just more developed and longer. It still hasn't lost the pizzaz after 300 chapters.

I'd have to vote for Bleach, because in Bleach there appears to be much more character development and a lot of plot twists. In Naruto, there are some cool fight scenes to watch and Naruto does do some sweet stuff, but like someone said earlier, everyone he fights is affected by his determination to be the Hokage, which gets to me a fair bit. If it happened to a few people, yeah, I could live with that. But the fact that every single character is so simliar in that sense just makes it seem like almost all of the diversity among them is lost in that aspect. I also prefer the Bleach storyline as a whole, but that's just personal preference. I'd rather watch Ichigo be sweet and own someone in the face instead of Naruto doing moronic things over fifty episodes of filler (the mission to get the scent bug, anyone?). And Rukia is my favorite character from any show, movie, etc, so I'm definitely rooting for Bleach.

i like both anime's equally but in very different ways.
those who have said that bleach is more grown up i disagree with as naruto is much more emotionally mature. in naruto people die and it is said especially when the hokage died but in bleach you don't get that. also naruto deals with complex issues like loneliness and discrimination whilst bleach has none of those.
bleach is a much more light hearted anime and i prefer it in terms of fighting and i prefer the villans but in terms of story and emotionally naruto is much better. finally in bleach you can see that ichigo is giong to be the most powerful charecter ever but in naruto, naruto isn't so you don't know what is going to happen to him.

I gave Naruto a try, I really did, but after 35 episodes or so, I decided I'd had enough flashbacks, long-winded explanations of every single freakin' jutsu technique, and fights that lasted for weeks at a time. Plus, I'm sorry, but at times Naruto himself is just...stupid. He tries the same thing over and over but expects different results anyway. Gaaah!!!

Bleach has awesome fight scenes, which are all worth watching. Some fights are slightly different in the anime from the manga. Like the fight against the gate keeper. In the manga when Ichimaru attacks him, his arms completely come off. In the anime, his arms are severely cut through. Also I find Bleach more my style now, as it's more mature.
