Should pornography be banned?

Here in North America, pornography is still at large, though some countries have pornography illegal. Please discuss and form lively but respectable debates on this issue.

"Should pornography be banned"

Here are some arguments from both sides.

For banning of pornography:

- Porn stars are mistreated
- Many are immigrants tricked into the industry
- Bad influence on children
- Child porn
- Rape violence trends
- Relationship breakdowns
- Degradation of women


Against banning of pornography:

- Protect freedom of speech
- Censorship
- Economy (creates jobs)
- False scandal (Linda Lovelace)
- Snowball effect
- Increase in crime rate through smuggling (ex. Prohibition act)
- Health issues

I don't like porn myself but they should make it so that it has a warning sign before going to the porn site so kids won't go on( hopefully they can read )
