What do you think are the best emulators in the land? *cough* especially for GBA? Anyone?

VBA for GBA.
MAME is the emulator though. It can play thousands of arcade games. And there multiple variations like Fast Mame, NeoMame, Mame32K (for online play), etc. If you're smart enough, you can modify the progam yourself to play even newer arcade roms.
well i use VBA to play GBA roms.
oh *advertisement* go to http://gbashack.com/board/ if you're interested in downloading some roms. gotta be a member though and at least post abit there :O
also - i'm a moderator there so yeah

after Mame.dk died i find it really hard to find good roms that actually have every file

That was the best site for mame roms. There are still lots of mame rom sites, but most of them are either the really common roms, or bittorrent.

Cause the only thing worth mentioning on the NGPC is the kof and snk vs capcom games.

Yea, but even so, there were at least 5 SNK/Capcom crossover games for that hand-held system. It's worth mentioning. =\
