The future of Bleach

Unsure if another thread mentioned it, but if so, go ahead and delete this. Otherwise, from three sources on the net and multiple friends i've heard that Bleach is scheduled for 52 episodes and 1 movie.

Kenshin is one of th eshortest Shounen Jump series (i think) and it ran 95 or so episodes. So I must say, the manga is ending pretty soon.

And before you bring up Grand Fisher, check in the Bleach Anime section for my theory about Grand Fisher. It might clear up why I think Bleach will end soon.

However, the anime might pull and Inuyasha and say "the anime's over but the story is still continuing!"

Sorry but I cannot recall you theory about the Grand-fisher, if possible can you give the link to the thread and moreover it would be odd to decide that manga will end soon by comparing it to Ruroken, and Ruroken has 28 manga volumes, Bleach has 16 or 17.


Plus, Ruroken's anime and manga has "HUGE" (I really mean it.) difference between them. I'll find the web site that compared the manga and anime asap, and put the link here.

Well, yeah my comparison was odd by i was giving an example that not all shounen jump manga/anime go on for over 100+ episodes. I have a pretty strong gut feeling it's gonna wind down. Kubo is pulling a Toriyama and drawing this arc out like Toriyama did with Goku vs Freiza (which was the intended end to Dragonball, until his publishers demanded he made more)

At this point in the manga is seems that there is a new arc and apperently there are turn coat shinigamies. The barrior of pure souls prevents Holows from entering it so chances of Ichimaru Gin being a hallow in my oppinon are very low but on the flipside maybe Gin and Aizen are tired of taking orders so they have decided to overthrow the whole scociety and Rule it, also there could be renagade shinigamies that have sided with hallows or just attack others, Powerfull Hollows, a scociety of hollows or there own world from were the work from, Maybe a huge hollow boss that controls the grand fisher.

In all honesty, I really want the series to end soon, because it's really gaining the DBZ Conplex, with the whole "Ichigo is the only one who can fight" thing.

well, i wouldnt say it will end soon cuz there is alot of missed things :
1) who is that cat ?
2) why did Urahara Kisuke leave Soul Society
3) why did the deathgods killed ganju`s brother
4) what will happen to bleach ? after saving kisuke

i dont think that these things can be said in the next 30 episodes they have a full story since i guess that bleach will fight more than 1 deathgod to save kisuke
and i dont think that "Ichigo is the only one who can fight" cuz they others are fighting also in the same way sado is powerful and the quency is good too

Like 3 of those questins are answere in the manga but as u i dont think it will end that soon if it does it will be an hasted end that will most likly suck.

i seriously doubt the series will end soon. after all, there's almost 200 chapters (that i know of and have been scanlated) and we all know that the anime is usually longer than the manga...most of the time. personally, if they would just cut the fighting down a bit and get to the point in bleach, it would be more interesting. i mean, c'mon, why spend a whole three or four episodes on a single fight full of "i will defeat you because i have the will to keep fighting" or "i'll never give up" or something like that?

The series is most likely going to pull an Inuyasha (Inuyasha's anime ended, but the story still continued in the manga. Bleach just might do that)

But keep in mind people, the anime is covering about 5 - 6 chapters per episode. When you look at all the events that unfurled in the soul society, it's not THAT long.

As for Urahara being banned from the soul society, I beleive they mentioned it already. Something about his Faux bodies being far too realistic.

I admit the whole everyone but Ichigo being useless later on is annoying and if it keeps up like that it will suck... I don't think it will be like that...
They have to do something with Hollow Ichigo. Like they have to fight him, cause you can't just leave him and the best way to get rid of something in a shonen anime is of course to fight it and since that such a big thing, or at least it should be, I bet It'll get its own little arc.

And somehow... Ishida has to get his power back so he can beat up whats his face... and they tell you nothing about Chad so they have to go more into that... (Really they don't have to but if not I'll have a lacking feeling and Bleach is pretty good with not leaving you hanging)

There was other stuff I had in mind... I had this thing with Tatsuki... but I forgot it... so ya...

Shounen jumps accuracy has been slipping latly, I dont know if its me but others around me have started to notice this as well. Some of there Info isnt completly accurete.

My brother thinks it will be about 100+ episodes long because Narutu is huge, and they make Bleach. But I dunno ... I reckon that 52 episodes and the movie should cover most of the plot if they get a move on with it. It seems to move pretty fast mind you in some episodes.

hm yea i agree with the 'ichigo is the only one who can fight' thing is getting a bit annoying, but then i still luv bleach lol. im enjoying it so much at the moment that i dont wanna see it end in 52 eps and a movie. then agian i actually wouldnt mind too much if the anime ended, but im really hooked onto the manga at the moment so im hoping itll run a for while longer lol ^_^U
