I'm really not sure, they could very well end it at the end of soul society, I don't want them too but they could. The Manga won't end there, cause there is going to be more with Grand Fisher, but they kinda leave the Grand Fisher thing sketchy like... I want it to long though...really long... but not so long that its over done.

I hope the Fisher, rukia's FULL past, urahara's past, and the menos (just for fun) are all brought to a close. these are all incomplete story details that i want to see tied up. they could pull it off by 52, but that might be pushing it. if the manga continues, i hope the anime follows.

I also heard people say 75 episodes. I guess they could possibly go on for a little longer but then that might be too much.

why would you want to ruin the surprise? when i watch gundam wing i knew its length, and that kind of ruined the surprise. its like you know the end is near so you tend to focus less on the story and more on "holy crap guys theres only gonna be 3 more eps, what the hell will i do with all the time i dedicated to helping unloly make BP a great site!?! my life ends!!!" and while i dont literally feel that way (ok i do, but just a lil) i would still rather let the producers make their decision and let the story run its course.

Actually Bleach hasn't had any real fillers. There is maybe one episode that wasn't specifically important to the storyline and even that one came directly from the manga. This is why I appreciate the anime so much, they don't put in too much random stuff that just distracts people's attention from the actual storyline.

I would probably think it's between 52 and 75 episodes. The first 52 are probably the rescuing of Rukia and then the next few episodes may be about hollows again. If you read book 2 of the manga (or was it three) you see the scene where the hollow (that killed Ichigo's mother) was "repaired". That posed a few questions for me like, "Oh crap, it's super powerful!!!" :eek: There might also be the fight with Menos Grande or something and he might DIE!!!

I think the anime will have its own storyline too, because it will outrun the manga chapters...and somemore...Kubo Taito is a seiyuu too in the anime, so I guess he could collaborate with the production company to create a deviating storyline apart from the manga after a certain point...

There are many ways they can go with it, so I don't think anyone knows. Heck, the people that are DOING the anime may not know! The manga isn't even done yet, so I'd say we just sit back and go with the flow. There will probably be at least 50, although you never know...it could end at 30 (just an exaggerated example).

Have you read the manga Physics223? Naruto has a whole new story arc coming up, If you havent read it I won't tell you but I can assure that you will not be dissappointed. ^_^

We all have to think that in japan they do it in half year seaons and 26 eps. is one season. IF they made it 52 eps that would be 2 seasons. From the looks of things I'm expecting it to be atleast 52 eps, like similar to gundum wing or Full metal alchemist. IT could definitly go into the 70's if there is a story arc after they save Rukia, but I haven't read the manga yet.

I agree, although we can always use InuYasha as an example of how things can keep going and going and going and going and going (etc.)

I cannot even begin to count how many times I thought InuYasha was going to end, yet it never did. Actually, the manga is STILL going. In a way, I think that's kinda cool though...anyway, I guess what I'm trying to say is that we just don't know. (Unless you are friends with Kubo-san, and he told you his plans haha)

So we can assume at that rate it will go double from here and the last saga in the movie thats that. Nothing else to it. Yup that's what I mean. The story is reaching it's final climax there is very little left untold at this point. I would say it a safe assumption to make. Unless they drag it out and make it stupid. Bleach is too story driven not character driven. Stop it while it's good. Don't run a whole bunch of filler. I think thats what they're thinking. And I promise when the movie comes out I'll go see the first day and tell you guys about it at this rate around Fall 2005 Early Winter 2005 can't wait right?

Theres so much shit that havent been explained, and there most likely will be a huge arc involving hollows, seeing how they are the main enemies of Bleach. And Kubo said that Orihime will play a much bigger role eventually, which means that theres a bunch of shit after ss. But I dont like her at all.

like i said in a previous post, I would not be suprised at all if Bleach takes a seasonal break to let the Manga get further, lots of animes have done this in the past. Right now, I think Bleach will roll till maybe late June, and then take a break and resume in Fall. But ya never know for sure.......

I don't know those all sound like probable outcomes but I personally think the hallow thing is done for I mean at the level they are at now even if the hallows are evovled or whatever it won't be much of a challenge..::Theory:: Also if you notice it has been a while since they released a manga vol 16 they may be streching the release dates to conincide with the end of the series. ::Theory::
As for living in Japan things are pretty damn expensive but you can get along okay. I used to live in Los Angeles and it's only a bit more expensive here. It's when you start buying a whole bunch of stuff when it gets expensive. But yeah you definetly need to be able to speak some japanese and read some kanji to get around.

I still stick to the other thing though I hope they don't drag it out.

i guess it almost makes sense that the whole fight sequence is taking so long, but then again... theres a lot of focus on ichigo, some on ganju, less on 'hime and ishida, yorouichi is walking the rooftops, watching the shinigami swarm like a ack of rabid dogs, and chad is almost STILL in the damn tree. if anything they better show other battles or some regrouping or this is gonna get old quick.

Yes. Most anime go past 100 episodes. The really succesful ones go past 200. I think Dragon Ball Z was one of the longest anime (291 episodes). Bleach is really popular, so I'm guessing it'll be close to 200. I hope, for all Bleach fans' sake, that I'll be right. :headbang: Peace out.

anime is at ep 29, which lines up in the mid 90s in manga chapters. so lets say 30 eps per 100 chapters if theres no fillers. if they hit 200 chapters (at 177) then we're gonna see around 60 eps (if they dont cut or add stuff)
