UnholyGodn comment on dead forum?

Not sure if anyone actually read UnholyGodn's comment on the home page. WOW BIG WALL OF TEXT ^_^" It seems that he is sort of pissed off that there are so many registered people and yet none of them particpate in any time of discussion or interaction with the great community that we have here.

I too share his views on the community lacking communication. I mean I'm totally new here and, so far I made only 3 threads and posted probably like 7 times? Not sure how many times I have posted.

Anyways what's your guys view on this?

same here..............for a few days straight theres almost no new posts.........and sometimes when i want to post my opinion on a certain thread........the last person who posted was me haha so yeah the rule is no double post right

Id have to agree with that. I joined the site awhile ago, but havent been very active, but Im trying to change that.

I cant blame him though, it's like the generous kid dilema. The more generous you are, the more people will maybe take advantage of that. I have to admit i read here all the time, but i never posted, and i realized that made me just as bad. I also took him up on the staff offer, not for anything like "omg..make me admin!!11oneone1!" but just writing up pages that seem to have been under contrustion for forever lol.

Yea, I've been part of Bleachportal for like... a month or two? I never really noticed the forums, im one of those download bums =)

I read the whole thing, and that was a long post, haha. He basically said he was pissed about the non-active staff, and that most people were just freeloading (like me ><), so I'm here to change that! I think I'll go email about those staff positions, I'm fairly good at writing information... so *shrugs*

Ive been a member for some time and i must say. Im a Media whore. i come here for the content and ive donated now and then but i agree seeing a dead forum with a site that gets upwards of hundreds of thousands of people visiting a day? i think thats sad so this here is my first post ever.

i just joined the forums today, and i fully support unholy and BP. this site is great, we cant let the forums die just cuz we like to be media whores. how can you truly love bleach if you dont discuss it? would a priest be a priest if he kept everything he learned and thought about religion to himself? on that note, im adding to the save BP cause.

Heh, don't think I've downloaded anything off the site other than a couple of wallpapers.

I signed up to the site for the mysterious "Member Features", I'm not all that interested in stat whoring any series as if it were baseball cards or something. The only reason I'm still around is for the forums and I can see myself continuing to do so.

It takes YEARS to build a community, the Bleach anime has only been around for what, 6-7 months? And most of the popularity comes from that. Personally, it always surprises me that a series-specific community ever exists at all. Fortunately clubbleach at least has some interesting characters and some talented people which is the core of what brings me back.

Well I agree with him and now I joined the Forums to become more active. But i am lacking of time at the moment so it is rather impossible for me to be one of these 1Mio Post Users, but I´ll check this forum out if it is possible

All I know is that this exact thing pisses me off with the site I work at. We have around 600 members so far, but only about three post on the forums...and even they don't do it often. All they do is leech...why can't they contribute to the community just a little?
