When talking to my friend about wanting Bleach to end fairly soon (i'd like a nice lengthed Shounen series, like kenshin, not some 300+ episode deal like DBZ and soon, Naruto)

I stumbled across a new arc idea. All these shinigami are so busy with whats going down in the Shinigami city. So that just might give the hollows time to overthrow the human world. Stupid idea yeah, but who knows, it could happen.

you've got a point though, since bleach did start off based on hollows. since everything is taking place in soul society then there probably isnt anyone protecting the human world from hollows

well, if you read the manga, you could know that there are some low rank shinigami who protecting human world from hollow. What I think is that after the SS arc, KT might continue to make story about Ichigo fighting the strong Hollow. If you watch anime episode 8, you'll find that there are several hollows which shape look like human instead of bugs (there might be more hollows which similar to Hollow-Ichigo).

Hum...maybe....

Ichigo maybe will get the control of his hollow side and start hunting the "human like Hollows..."

But even there the # of episodes will be high...

Do you think it'll reach even a hundred episode's ?

easily go over 100, After SS arc there might be a friggin huge Hollow boss because as we know every hollow boss has their own world that Shinnigamis and other hallows can enter. There might be a hallow that can even rivle soul scociety and his goal is to feed on all the death gods due to his addiction because we hear that the Hollow boss dose say that shinigami tast is addicting. Rewatch episode 8 and watch there are 7 hallows including the Grand fisher in a world and they could have apowerfull army so what about them, remeber that ichigos ultiment goal is to kill the grandfisher for vengence on his mom.

I bet on my left testicle that Bleach will go over 100 episodes. It is a shonen jump anime, which usually goes well over 100 episodes. Also, the manga doesnt seem to be ending anytime soon. And its also done by the same studio that does Naruto so.

hopefully it doesn't ended up like Inuyasha.

chihiro i hope your testicle is insured just incase it ends at 99 or sumthin like that. 100 sounds about right, there are too many loose ends to clean up currently for a 52 ep span IMO.

just you wait... they still have to explain why Ichigo's sooo important to the hollows. Sure, he has high spirit power, but really... that many hollows after one guy? (Not to mention the seven hollows discussed earlier...)

i want to know more about why ishida's hollow bait worked SOOO well. remember i still havent read the manga, so if the answer's there, let me read it! i probably know too much as is just from being part of this thread, my loss *hehe*

as was suggested...
There is some part of the puzzle we don't seem to have right now, but I'm gonna bet that it will eventually involve:
1. Ichigo's Mother
2. That Ichigo is the reincarnation of something bigger.
3. Ichigo is part of some sort of prophecy. (Dear god, let's not do another HP or Matrix...)
Yup, I'll continue to brainstorm.

Come now, InuYasha was not nearly as bad as DBZ. Sure, it was easy to get tired of it, although all you ever had to do was take a break. After a few weeks, I was always ready to start watching again

i hope NO anime ever falls to the DBZ way. gundam was probably the best example of the exact opposite, and most anime that long can only dream of that kind of ability, but nonetheless, as long as bleach stays in the good, we're cool.

I am pretty sure it's not going to repeat itself too much...Kubo seems to be a pretty good story teller, if you know what I mean. Besides that, his last manga was cut short, and I think he is trying to really 'shine' on this one (which he is ;)).

Zombie Powder. (Sheesh, I hate giving such short answers...it makes me feel spammy. Actually, that's why I added this...less spammy.)

hahaha, hey, who cares about the length (other than the site itself, 10 character minimum) as long as you say something useful, if you can get it done in 2 words, then why waste you time typing only to waste our time reading filler? (dont you feel the same way about filler eps in anime?)

Well, I didn't mean to say that he was going to drag it out and kill it, just that I thought he was going to put a lot of work into the story...that's all. There have been a lot of good shorter mangas, although I just have a 'feeling' that this will be one of the longer ones.

examples of this are trigun 2 huge volumes and maybe 8 small ones. Or Cowboy bebop with only like 4 i guess. And those are the best anime of all time

I'm curious about the king fisher hollow too. It got away, right?

Well, I'm afraid bleach might stretch on forever and forever, cuz the weekly suspense is killin' me... (I can't believe it took them almost 2 episodes to finish Ichigo's fight w/ that one bald dude). However.. if it ends.. nothing to watch. :(
