Hello fellow lovers of such a great novel! I know this is probably a random thread but I'm too obsessed with Twilight to not talk about it on boards... ^_^;. ANYWAY, I particullarily (sp?) want to talk about the release of New Moon and the contents it might have in it. Also, I found a great website if you want to look up something about Twilight or Stephenie.

Domo for checking out this thread and please reply!
P.S.- If anyone is interested in doing a Twilight rp feel free to PM me.

GAH! I LOVE Twilight!! It's one of my favorite novels (check the other threads).

And I've been visiting her website since November 2005--when I finished reading it. I finished it in a day, then. And I'm not a someone who can read things twice, but with Twilight, I pratically did it unconsciously--just picked it up reading a favorite scene and went all the way through again.

Oh man, I absolutely can't WAIT until New Moon is released. I'm counting down the days, really. Stephenie hasn't let much known about it, except that:

1.) It picks up in Bella's senior year
2.) It's told in a perspective other than Bella's.
3.) It's freakishly long.

Yeah. Have you also visited the Twilight Lexicon (http://twilightlexicon.com/)? It gives ALOT of plot, characterizations, and general spoilers (past and present) from the Twilight series. It's a virtual smorgasbord for all thigns Twilight. XD

GAH! OMG!!!

I am obsessed with the books!!!

Both Twilight and New Moon

I am yet to read Eclipse and I've already read the first chapter to the 4th coming: Midnight Sun.

Omg... I'm dying to read what's on!

Anyway, I keep urging people to read this book. But so far, no one... I mean NO ONE has even bothered. Makes me sad really :(

Anyway, wow! I thought I was the only one that enjoyed this book! Got me more into vampires now. XD

GAH! I'm not even supposed to be around CB anymore >.>

But I had to blab! Anyway, I also wanna say:

TWILIGHT THE MOVIE IS COMING!!

SEE MY SIGI?!?!?! (+ "Bite Me" Spoiler XD) I've gone insane! Why? Coz I'm obsessed! XD

Wow! I just read a brief summary of the book and it looks very interesting. It does have that buffy the vampire slyer theme which I think is very appealing since I'm a huge fan of Buffy and Angel!! Will definitely check it out!
icestorm 32 - here's a summary from amazon.com
Amazon.com
"Softly he brushed my cheek, then held my face between his marble hands. 'Be very still,' he whispered, as if I wasn't already frozen. Slowly, never moving his eyes from mine, he leaned toward me. Then abruptly, but very gently, he rested his cold cheek against the hollow at the base of my throat."
As Shakespeare knew, love burns high when thwarted by obstacles. In Twilight, an exquisite fantasy by Stephenie Meyer, readers discover a pair of lovers who are supremely star-crossed. Bella adores beautiful Edward, and he returns her love. But Edward is having a hard time controlling the blood lust she arouses in him, because--he's a vampire. At any moment, the intensity of their passion could drive him to kill her, and he agonizes over the danger. But, Bella would rather be dead than part from Edward, so she risks her life to stay near him, and the novel burns with the erotic tension of their dangerous and necessarily chaste relationship.
Meyer has achieved quite a feat by making this scenario completely human and believable. She begins with a familiar YA premise (the new kid in school), and lulls us into thinking this will be just another realistic young adult novel. Bella has come to the small town of Forks on the gloomy Olympic Peninsula to be with her father. At school, she wonders about a group of five remarkably beautiful teens, who sit together in the cafeteria but never eat. As she grows to know, and then love, Edward, she learns their secret. They are all rescued vampires, part of a family headed by saintly Carlisle, who has inspired them to renounce human prey. For Edward's sake they welcome Bella, but when a roving group of tracker vampires fixates on her, the family is drawn into a desperate pursuit to protect the fragile human in their midst. The precision and delicacy of Meyer's writing lifts this wonderful novel beyond the limitations of the horror genre to a place among the best of YA fiction. (Ages 12 and up) --Patty Campbell

The second novel was disappointing IMO. Not at the fact that it was a thrilling read, but at the fact that she kept leaving us in suspense, for SO LONG!. OMG... I yearn for Edward!

WHY DID STEPHENIE HAVE TO MAKE A DESCRIPTION OF HIM THAT GORGEOUS?!?!

*Cough* Anyway, no MooLy, you aren't the only one. :3

Also, the fact that so many girls love Edward, would it be the same for Bella, but, for guys?

I mean like... who could resist those her lips "a bit too full for the jaw line"?

I loved both Twilight and New Moon, couldn't put either of them down, and I just got Eclipse, and plan to read it this week when I get a chance. The funny thing is I don't read vampire books usually, but I found these completely different in a good way
