Recently, there is a spawn of accounts posting random information with hidden links, which would lead to "bad" sites. They may contain spyware, virus etc so beware.

Dude Thanks For The Heads Up To Things Like These...I Just Reformated My Computer So I Wouldn't Want It To Be Affected By Spyware Again...

My advice would be to download Ad-Aware and scan your computer at least once a week to make sure it's safe and not to click on any suspicious links such as porn sites and the lot.

Domo Arigato! Another great one is AVG anti-virus... you can download it for free at grisoft.com. It updates daily and scans everything you access before you can even open it! Plus it runs a full virus check every day. Give that a shot too. I know its saved my bumb a few times! ;)

Interesting, I have also had something like this on a forum I set up... I don't know if you log IP adress on registration, but if so, and provided they're not using a proxy, you can normally ban them.

gah, took me so long to get that password recovery junk, but here i go. I can get any of you No-Adware for free, usually $25-30. It works great, gets rid of all adware/spyware and the such. It also updates everyday so you will always have the latest software. If anyone is interested get a Skype account and i will send the files through there. skype (http://www.skype.com)
my account is natedogg6697
e-mail me your name @ treehuggin_hippie@hotmail.com and i will send it as soon as possible
Also, for a good free anti-viris program, get AntiVir....its free and it catches things that Norton couldnt even, also updates frequently.
go here (http://www.free-av.com/antivirus/allinonen.html) to get it

Full scan daily would kill your comp if it's being used reasonably at all :P
That, and Norton's better
Episode 63 part 2 is missing, or it's a bad link. Please fix it so I can continue to watch the episodes. It would be nice if you could help get it back as soon as possible.
Thanks for your time.

ad-aware has been beaten by too many spyware makers to continue recommending it as a good choice spy-bot and windows anti spyware beta seem to still catch most though there is spyware doctor which is a very active antispyware program but its very user heavy and needs to be bought yet it will root out pretty much anything you might have and effectively kill it.

I also recommend Spy Doctor and Spy Sweeper. Both of them can pick up many traces of spy and malware when scanned.
I'm sorry for not reading that, and I hope I dont make a fool of myself twice, but what about episodes 70 and 71? For some reason I'm unable to download them... if I could get some help on this matter, that would be greatly appreciated
Sorry for screwing up and occupying your time

I am getting a pop-up advertisement on the Bleachportal Wallpaper link that triggers my Norton Anti-Virus to kick in. It happened at my home and my work pc. It rather strange...

I can't view any of the Bleach wallpaper period. I always get this same response:

a week and a half ago i went onto the bleachportal site. For the past 2 months whenever i go there it triggers my avast antivirus to flip. Normally, though, after half a dozen "Warning!"s it lets me proceed with my bleach-related musings. However, last time i was on bleachportal it not only made my avast have a kitten, but then it proceeded to leech a spawn of Satan: a virus/parasite known commonly as "Brave Sentry" This has destroyed my poor poor compy for 4 days running before i gave up on exhausting all my limited knowledge of computers and have since then kept the computer shut off. It is EVILNESS!!!i wanted to warn y'all, even though you probably are aware already. i am gonna try today to fix it with some stuff i found on the web. (right now im on my aunts compy) and if it works i'll post back.

So many people keep nominating all these odd unknown third party programs (some of which even contain thier own spyware/malware!)
The best suggestion of all is to actually update your copy of windows at least once a week as this wont allow common exploits (such as coolpix) to even be installed in the first place!
(PS and yes Norton really does suck nowadays, it has become wayyyy too bloated for its own good)
Id also suggest making use of a good hosts file as that will block 95% of not only spyware/malware, but also keeps out all those dumb banner ads people litter thier websites with

Hello, wei jie.
Heres the links for downloading them:
Spyware Doctor:

Webroot Spy Sweeper:

The links go straight to Download.com , a reliable downloader of software, however, Spyware Doctor and Spy Sweeper is NOT free software. Spyware Doctor will scan your computer, but will not remove any threats unless you buy the full version. Spyware Sweeper will not scan your computer or remove threats, but will stop incoming spyware. I suggest you buy the full versions of anti-spware to be safe. You get what you pay for, and if you pay nothing, you quite often get low quality software with bugs.

I use AVG Antivirus(free edition), Windows Defender, and ZoneAlarm. This with the 30 day free trial of AVG Anti-Spyware seems to keep my computer safe. I intend to buy the full version of AVG Antispyware and Antivirus, unles someone can tell me about a better antivirus / spyware suite? and Norton really does suck. I tried it for a while and it missed a LOT of viruses and Spyware/Malware and I got infected.

A seemingly good Antivirus program has come to my attention. There are also Pro versions you can buy, but the personal version is free. http://www.free-av.com/antivirclassic/index.html The Pro version comes with a firewall, but if you have a decent firewall, you only need the personal version.
