Do you think Ishida is in love with Yoshino?

As we could watch in ep.79 and some before, Ishida cares a lot of Yoshino. He's always worrying about her. When Yoshino died Ishida started crying and shouting... It's only friendship, or there's something else?
What do you think?

I... think that because in the fillers, Yoshino was portarayed as someone resembling Uryuu's mother, it's more like deep care. I think they'rea ppealing to Uryuu's kind nature, so he protects her because he is kind.

Truth be told though, he won't even remember her after the fillers... too bad.

I think Ishida had feelings for Yoshino. Poor Ishida... the great filler gods would never allow the relationship to work out. He should have known that.

I think that Ishida is still working through some issues about his mother - she doesn't seem to be around any more, and with Yoshino resembling his memories of her, it touched a raw nerve.

Yeah, it wasn't love in "that way," Yoshino was really a mother figure for him. He related to her in that way, and the resemblence to his mother made him feel more 'relaxed' (wrong word, but oh well.) But her death really did affect him, so it was more than just friendship, but not romance.

It's filler, the only way that Ishida and that girl has a relationship is by killing her off at the end. Nothing is suppose to develop in fillers.

I don;t think he looked up to her, just cared for her. He certainly saw a resemblence with his mother, but I guess he was trying to preserve that. Made all the painful when told not only is he useless but he's unable to help in his current capacity. Very frustrating indeed.

I myself dont think that its about love. Yoshino resembled Ishidas mother, and one more reason that he cared about her was her intention to stop Kariya's plan. I think that Ishida admired her because she was the only bountou that was warmhearted and consistent. Not enough, she saved him several times too, or at least tried, and this made Ishida owe her, and because of that, I dont think that its wierd that Ishida cared so much about Yoshino. hehe

Yoshino reminded Ishida greatly of his mum, and that is why he felt some sort of attachment towrds her. Although I don't really know what happened to his mum, Yoshino brings back vivid memories, which trigger many emotions within Ishida.

but to get to the point. i was kind of surprised that ishida cared so much about her to the point of being devastated over the top. there was only one scene that showed him relating yoshino with his mother. also, ishida has been weakened down so much in the fillers.

Same here. the emotion he shows in episode 79 seemed unprecedented. there's no metion beforehand of a relationship even vaguely warrenting that display of emotion. so she looked like his mom..... that's it.
