regarding taking classes, im not taking any general ed... im at a community college and plan on doing general ed later once i have some streetable skills to work with. its no good to tell people on your resume that "i am a so and so major." and then when they ask you how much you know you have to say "oh im still doing general ed, i dunno sh**.

Got most of my GE stuff done that way. ^-^ and I graduated early from my HS, by a year. So I'm 17 now and going to college full time now. I'll be 18 when I can finally transfer and leave all that horrible GE crap behind me and work on my Major which I have no idea what it is. T_T

Cool thing about college is that you have to talk to people to know what teachers to pick. The students at the college that I'am going to now made a website I forgot the url >_<" I have to ask one of my friends again.

But anyways, basically what it does is we make a list of all the teachers by subject and whom ever has him/her will do a review on the teacher. I think it's neat because you get to know ahead of time if the teacher is gonna be an @ss or whatever.

I just hit the record button. ^-^" I bring my own tape recorder for teachers that have weird accents or I just can't understand them. Either that or talk to them after class and tell them that you can't understand them. If your teacher is nice, then they will probably start writting more than speaking.

Heh, my Bio class had an average of 33% one time. But it was the teacher. He was a peverted old man who liked teenagers (we hated him with a passion). We all called him Hole-and-shit to his face because he was so terrible.

I had a 45% the entire semester (because I hated the man and wore bummy clothes), until final exam day when I more a mini-skirt to school (this was an evil plot from all the girls in the class). Then *for some strange reason* I got a 60.4% for the year. I wonder if my mini-skirt had anything to do with it. Anyhow, the school forced him to retire and I retook the class the next year with a harder teacher, didn't study (because of all the information that I really DID know from the first time I took the class) and got a 104% (a 101% on the final) for the year.

Peverted teachers need to die. :sad: Our school was really bad about that.

About 2 years ago an english teacher told my homeboy that she didn't give a flying f^^^ about how bad everyone in the class was doing and that she was just there cuz of the $$. I'm in my last year of High School at a Catholic School. No nightmare stories to tell though, except for this one teacher I had for a couple of years for different classes. Okay, he was a nice as can be, but dude - and there is no better word for it - he STUNK. The dude never wore deoderent or perfume or anything like that. He REAKED something shocking. ><; I had to peg my nose with my fingers when I was in class with him cause the whole room stunk of his BO.

The scariest thing that ever happened to me at school was when our head teacher (the principal) confesses to us that he had a gay sexual experience when he was 14 and went to an all boy’s boarding school just in the middle of our religious studies class... Not such a big deal you might think but i went to a Christian school and my principle was also a priest.

cool guy tho, he let me do my RS coursework on the star wars trilogy, its strangely easy to spot the religious connections between star wars and the bible if your looking for them.

Got in trouble when I was in the first year as well. We were asked to write creative stories and I wrote a tale about a guy who went round slaughtering cattle just for the hell of it. It was called the masked shadow or some rubbish. What I didn’t realise at the time was that it read as though he got some kind of sexual pleasure from it. I was 11 like I’d be writing stuff like that!?! Anyway they call me parents, who just laughed. Tried to turn the story into a movie about a year ago but I cant remember enough of it.

Anyhoo, my chemistry teacher was just the opposite. He called his students retards and threatened to use his chemicals to make certain formulas that would poison us all. Even the prinicipal was afraid of him. But you know what, he got his point across and if he didn't hate you, he was actually a pretty cool guy. He was the only teacher, me thinks, who actually loved to teach - he even gave up a high paying job at a lab to stay a teacher. That's dedication.

My ex-selfclaimed-fiancee hated him though because the man actually made my loser boyfriend work. So sometimes I guess students are at fault too. ^^;;

One of My lectures always tells the story of the time when he did the recording of Queens "I want to break free"... like we care. This may or may not be true as he also claims to be the true inventor of the energy saving light bulb, reads at roughly a quarter the speed of Jonny 5, speak 5 languages fluently and has developed a form of Martial Arts where all he has to do is blow on you and your body liquidates or something. He’s not kidding, he’s deadly serious about all of it, I wouldn’t believe me either. He’s truly one of the weirdest and scariest people I’ve ever met.

A couple of weeks ago I complained to him that i was bored of not having any work to do, then he told me that I wasn’t pro active enough and that I should seek out work... I told him that’s what I was doing coming to see him but he was being arsy as hell! Then he challenged me to produce something by the end of the day, so i said FINE! so when he came to see me at 5, just before i was about to leave, i showed him the storyboards I had made for him outlining a pornography based on captain hook (pre-pan years) and a girl dressed as a crocodile with a watch in her mouth, that I’d made in his honor. I could never decide on a title tho, I considered "hook"er and I dabbled with bangerang! But nothing came of it... my boss wasn’t really that impressed but didn’t seem to care that much.

that's what going to happen to me because i failed on class called "INTRO IN CREATIVE STORYTELLING" this is where we wrote scripts and the stpuid ass teacher kept comparing my script to X-MEN which really pissed me off cause i stayed up for 3 nights writing a 25 page script!!

I never skipped school, I was always way to good. Besides, School was great! I wish I could go back.

i have an interesting "i did but i didnt skip class" thing for high school. any time there was a school even that required the use of one of the school's sound systems, i was called in. which meant i missed class for set up and tear down. usually this is the job of the ASB (asociated student body), but they're incompetent with turning a few knobs and plugging in come cables. i still showed up to school but i missed a lot of classes.

I did my spell in the theatre, I was pretty good. Had a kickass voice when I was younger, then my boss fired me and hired a "friend of the family" to replace me... That wasn't the reason he gave me but it was all politics!!

Darren I'm so happy I'm not the only one here who loves a bit of bluegrass from time to time. I took up the banjo just before christmas because I cant really play guitar anymore.

I usually just listen to japanese songs. (More often that not, they're anime themes.) Thus, people are always like "What the HELL are you listening to?" THEY'RE the ones who are humming to themselves at the end of the day, though. ^__^ (I'm supposed to be woring on my english assignment, but...Oh well..O_O)

im telling you all, if you dont listen to a large variety (anime themes is a very large variety in itself) you will have no real inspiration. i also listen to a lot of tribal african stuff, and arabic stuff. the san diego zoo has a bunch of cool cds of all sorts or world music thats hard to get a hold of.
