[the purifier]

so many times,
i was alone.
so many times,
darkness shruk my world.

flowing through the skies,
trembling the ground.
killing every creature it encounters,
destroying every struggle.

darkness that is killed by light,
the one thing missing in my life.
the item you posses,
you are my savior.

awaiting the highest power,
awaiting in endless time.
one day i will meet you,
one day you'll free my world.

I like the way you described the struggle for good versus evil using light and darkness. The only thing I would suggest is to watch your spelling and grammar, because it takes away from reading the poem. Nice job though, keep writing!
