Bleach got censored?

I am just watching episode 81... And when Kariya starts beating up that kid who was not agreeing to his plan, there was not a single drop of blood. Not even a hint of it under the entire scene... And the fact that he got beaten up pretty bad is not making things any better...

And now that I think about it...
I have not seen blood in a long while... (perhaps not once since the fillers? Don't remember that far back though..)

Or is it only me?

Never really thought about it, but now that you mention it I don't remember seeing blood. Its because of those fillers.

Agree and you know what they would not be so bad if they were not so far off from what the manga is doing.

I can't wait to see how they try and explain some of the things in the Anime once they get back on the main story line.

Ichigo states that if you have a high enough Reiatsu you can nullify demage to your body. This implies that the emo kid is very strong. Additionally, beating someone up won't necessarily make him bleed externally. He might bleed internally and you'll never know.

What Undying said is true, just like when Ichigo couldn't cut Zaraki back in episode 39, but if this arc was made in Kubo's manga there would be blood, i'm sure the filler staff just doesn't want to add unecessary blood into the anime, but i'm sure it's only the fillers so don't get worried about the upcoming manga arc getting censored or anything. In episode 62 which was right before the fillers when Byakuya took Gin's sword to his hard a good amount of blood splurted out, the same when Aizen took down Renji and Ichigo.

Yeah, I don't complain on the blood amound in pre-fillers episode.
But it's the fillers that "worry" me... Fillers is bad enought..
But fillers without blood is like icecream without flavor...

actually there is some blood, look at the preview, Ichigo's head is bleed lol...well its not like that the "emo kid" is a human, he is a bountou so maybe bountou's dont bleed as easily and the fact that all that happen was he got kicked and punch...doesnt really mean to have blood in it

ps:we actually saw ichigo bleed in the head in his fight with that bountou woman(forget her name) where ichigo got owned and then rukia came.

Bleach does cut down on the gore and sex theme in the anime. It makes no difference whether it's filler or canon. The side boobs in Soi Fon and Yoruichi uniform got cencored in canon.

There is blood in the filler, Ishida was bleading when he got slammed by Friido into the ground. i'm sure the blood will return...that would be the ultimate reward to us fan before going back to manga. Kariya gets massacred by Ichigo's bankai and bleeds a horrible death

As far as censorship goes i noticed when we first see inou's powers in the manga, tatsuki's bleeding out her head from those hollow seeds. They made them green in the anime. Volume one of the manga has the ghost girl all bloody too, in the anime they never show any blood from these scenes.

Well, as I said, it implies that he really is that strong, in light of Ichigo's statement. But moreover, he wasn't cut or anything, he was being beaten. I don't think he'd bleed that much on the outside because of punches and kicks, right?

The pace where they really did censor blood was the scene with Ichinose and the Friido guy. He actually cut him but there was VERY little blood shown.

i honestly never really seen any sexual themes in the show. other than maybe the occasional big-breasted woman, which i wouldn't consider a sexual theme per se. and in that sense, they haven't shown that in a while either other than seeing orihime from time to time.

Its been more then just one episode though. And Bleach jut isn't bleach with out the blood! I hate these fillers episodes. They are boring and useless. *destroys all filler episodes* And moving on to the good stuff!

well, i wouldnt want it to be censored personally, but there are younger people who watche anime, take example, my little brother. hes 10, and as much as hes seen enough Grand Theft Auto and the Punisher, hes a very violent kid. younger kids are becoming more vioent due to TV shows and i can see why they censor it.

Nah, younger kids are becoming more and more violent because their parnets allow them more and more free reign. :P If the anime is not suitable for a younger audience, then a younger audience should not be watching it, that's all.

yes, but if younger kids have more free reign, wouldnt kids still watch the anime, and that be why the fillers are there, becuase they know younger audiences are watching.

The fillers are there because the anime more or less caught up with the manga. Same with Naruto. As for children's behaviour I totally blame the parents. Not because of what they watch and what they listen to. Because parents just don't know how to control a child. A child will do whatever they can to get their own way and nowadays because kids know how to play the parents they run rings around them. Because they can run rings around the parents they can pretty much do what they want because the parents are at their wits end.

I've seen really young kids out in small gangs where I live at the dead of night. What the hell are kids doing up at night wandering the streets??

If they wanted kids to watch it in the first place, they sould never have made it violent from the beginning... It makes no sense to turn it around half way for that. Also, maybe because the fillers are just that, there was less attention paid to the more enhancing factors of the story... Hence why they are so boring. Maybe we should just wait till there's a little more action at the end of the fillers?
