For some reason Ichimaru Gins prominence in the ending is for some reason making me think he might turn out to be a good guy in the end. If you think about it, every chance he's gotten he's not killed Ichigo and his friends. Maybe he's in league with Uruhara... Then again I'm probably wrong but who knows, maybe everything up until now has been and will be misdirection.

Gin? A good guy? How could he be a good guy? If you looked at the ep. 27 credits, it shows a screenshot of Gin with his eyes open. He looks creepy, and evil, and since when has a good guy had red eyes? Bah!

ive seen things where the so called bad guy is actually the good guy, so we can theorize but keep an open mind.

I think he is a good guy...making him a bad guy is just too cliche. It would be cool if the 'evil' looking person turned out to be good for once...

Gin is a bad guy..beleve me he wants to take the power and be the number 1.
in the early beginning when we have seen Gin..everyone called him the old guy(hence he is the captian of the 3rd squad) I think he made all the bad things happen to Iruka.she was not supposed to be sentenced to death like that only captains may face it not just a ryoka like her.

gin could be bad, but then again theres aizen. he looks like the typical good guy, and gin obviously looks evil. but gin didnt kill ichigo, he just kept them out. if aizen told gin not to underestimate him. why would aizen threaten gin if they were allies?

hmmmmim sorry 2 say 2 whoever it was with the idea that aizens evil and ichimaru is good but i took that ep a whole nother way [maybe because im older?] anyway the take i got from that ep was aizen teppa the glasses dude [glasses there 4 a reason 2 emphasize that he is his own individual and smart u know] so basically him whereing glasses is like 2 get u warmed up 2 the fact that he aint dumb and cuz he aint dumb he realises sumthin very screwy is goin on in soul society......and dont forget that ichimaru and rukias brother have sum kind of beef wit eachother.......which leads me 2 beleive that that is a very viable reason 2 let kurosake live i.e ichimaru knows ichigo was defeated by rukias onee-chan so why not spice things up and let him live it just gives him more time 2 work on his plans.. .. .also at the ending of the new season's ed it shows the blond dude all sad and frustrated [beat by ichigo?]ichimaru steps in and seemingly recruits him as a member?????Anyway i think Aizen will get killed off shortly probly not b4 he meets/has a chance 2 talk with ichigo and allie wit em.....also correct me if im wrong but isn't the girl orihime is protecting[on season2 op] aizens student????or was it the lil wimp that serves rukia i cant remember........So bassically Aizen realises sumthin aint right in soul society he also realises that ichimaru always seems to have a conveniant escape aso he puts 2 and 2 together and bam!!!!Ichimaru betta watch out lol!!! also on a side note i do beleive kenpachi's student [the girl on his shoulder] is one if not the strongest vice-captain!!! obvioussly by watching ep 28's ending we learn a few things one of which is that kenpachis student[girl on his shoulder] is easily stronger than everyother person faught so far i mean jeez she knocked em out like it was a game i mean it sum simple shit for her to beat baldy lucky and prttyboy anyway thas about all!!!!!!!!!11 :doindadom

and what i said is speculation. i do not believe one way or another yet, but i do want to see both sides argued/debated/discussed equally. for all intensive purposes we may both be wrong.
