Killing Time?


They called me a murderer
But do they know my soul
Have they heard the reason
Of why those lives i stole

Do they know the answer
Or do they just assume
That because I stole a life
My sins I cant exume

The truth my freinds
Is that all men can kill
You just need a reason
A loss far too hard to fill

They killed my sister
They raped my only child
In oh so many cases
The punishments are too mild

They tell you that theyre good
And that they did nothing wrong
But yes, you know the truth
Only you and god

And so with great reason
And with need, blood can abate
you take the lives of others
All for the lost ones sake

Its done, Its through, Its over
But a question still remains
Was it the right thing
Or did it soothe your pains?

It is agood poem but i have two comments:

First: it seems that you feel the same way as the person in the movie i believe, cuz i felt that from the peom, it feels like even though you wrote it and it means other person's feelings, it feels like this person it was you v=cuz i can feel all of the feelings in the peom

Second: do you really believe your peom? i mean that even though its other person's opinion, do you believe that?

Thats why I wrote it. because I beleive personally that in every persons life there is or should be something theyre willing to kill for. I also left a bit of question in the poem because I also beleive that many people will beleive what they did is right but have trouble coping(living) with it.

i totally agree with you in that, sometimes you are ready to do anything in this life even though killing for one thing that you think it is really important.

But i feel like your peom more likely to mean that every person in this world has reasons to do certain things and not mainly killing cua that would be telling people that you can kill if you a reason, no, its not that,
its that everyone of us has their own believes and values that other people may do not understand and we try our best to explain that to them

lol well good try anway. i sort of get what your saying in thinking that my poem doesnt reflect my ideals perfectly....but i think it does a fair job so ill just go with it for now.
