Their first was better, this new album has a little more songs that are not so good and I think the singing line in about every couplette looks the same (very long time to say one sentence) it doesn't sound bad but it's more like they didn't have the inspiration to write something different.
But they're still VERY good, one of my favorite bands.

hhmmmmm, i think his kinda lost his touch, i bought that album too but i've kinda gotten sick of it. some of his older albums i could listen to and still love 3 years later, but this one...i mean some of the songs are good but definately he has lost his touch, also the fact that i can't understand his singing he kind of blurs the notes.

Operation: Mindcrime II - Queensrÿche

I'm still not sure how I feel about this album. I bought it right after it came out, and I listened to it over and over, with no one song or part of a song really grabbing my attention or seeming to stand out. However, the original Operation Mindcrime had songs that just grabbed your attention, and you instantly knew whether you liked them or not - "I Don't Believe in Love", for example, or "Eyes of a Stranger". The first time I listened to those songs, I immediately knew I loved them. With this new album, I'm inclined to say that, while it's not a bad album, it just doesn't stand out like the original did. It's just kinda there, like the uninspired incidental music from a B-movie.

You'll Rebel to Anything by Mindless Self Indulgence. I've heard about MSI for quite a few months from friends but never listened to them untill two days ago, and i was blown away. The album is on repeat in my cd player. I recomend it to everyone. (as well as MSIs other albums)

Not as good as their debut but then that's one of the best albums I've ever heard so I doubted it would be.

Yeah, there's certainly limits. I wouldn't expect someone to buy an entire movie soudntrack for one original song by a band they like or buy an entire album (e.g. Yellow Submarine by The Beatles) when most of it is material from others albums with a few original songs here and there.

"Summer of Wolves" by The Minor Times. Sucks that these guys broke up, because this is some of the most brutal, pissed-off hardcore I've heard in a while.
