h.264 codec

i just downloaded an anime episode and tried to run it through media player classic but doesnt work properly and says that i am missing a codec or something called h.264... then it runs but without any video, just audio, can someone provide me a link to download this codec cos i cant seem to find it and the ones i find do not seem to work
