Boxtorrents normally releases anime in the dual audio format taking advantage of the ogm/ogg video file normally open with VideoLan.
However, when using Windows Movie maker, in order to make AMVs, one needs avi format videos to do this.
This is the problem
I have used three converters so far to convert ogg to avi. , the most notable being River past video cleaner (pro and original version). I also used some that didt he job relatively quickly
However, there is no audio
None of the programmes allow you to choose the audio channel, because the audio channel is 2 since 1 is in english.
I tried various audio compressions, video compressions, extracting audio seperately, still to no avail
I would appreciate if I were helped
Cuz i'm making AMV's with Boondocks mixing it with Hiphop and other anime since it's mostly rock we have.

Also,
in my taskbar, there is a yellow triangle with a black exclamation mark that keeps on popping up with system alert: adware an spyware
funny thing is that I can't change blank from being my homepage, and my Ez trust AV says that the win temp file 9e is infected. However I can't find the file. Seems I got the virus when i was in mscracks . The browser then is redirected to porn sites with a new tab window or in the main browser window.
There is no new program in the program list (XP user)

help a bro
peace

Get a different antivirus, I never heard of EZ Trust. Also try spybot search & destroy and Window's defender if your windows is legit. As for your OGG to AVI problem, I have no clue.

I believe you installed a fake windows update disgusted as a spyware, that little update installed Spyfalcon or something probably, but that little program connects to the internet and installs a lot of other ad programs... better get rid of it quickly ^^

If you can, gimme a screen of the little alert window and the full name of the infected file

and OGG > AVi... not many programs will do a fast convert ^^

Sorry, can't answer the first question. I thought OGG was an audio format?

As for the second question, use a more powerful anti spyware tool like Spy Sweeper, download the 30 day trial from www.webroot.com or this other anti spy tool called Spy Doctor, but you need to register it before you can use it, download it at www.pctools.com.

I suggest you use Mozilla Firefox. Internet Explorer 6 is showing its age and has a lot of security and spyware issues.

OGG is both a video format and audio format,

Video: Supports more than 1 audio stream.

you have a browser highjacker if it wont change from blank its probably:

http://about-blank-removers.org/?gclid=CM25wcia6oUCFSjqJAodPjHhuw

check and see if this is the one but you should also scan your entire system at:http://www.pcpitstop.com/antivirus/default.asp

If scanning doesn't eliminate the spyware and viruses I suggest you format your hard drive. Thats the best way. Back up your important files first.

After that install the virus and spyware cleaners and update them with the latest definitions. That way you will avoid less disaster in the future.

you say you tried to do the audio seperatly.

did you isolate the audio file prior to converting it? or another option is copy the video and single audio files to another location removing the second audio track if thats possible then convert them.

the problem might be the driver for the audio files where it is told to use one or the other languages when playing. converters are not set up to change these to other formats.
