i just saw this on the news, and in a sense i think its a good subject to debate abt how we can protect our children in the future aginest such attacks, and at the same time not being over protective.

apparntly, her 14yr old brother found her body in a disabled toilet, and the whole event took no more than 10 minutes. and please dont post stuff like condolences, as it dosnt respect the dead and also that it screws up the thread. if u really want to show ur condolences, mail the family for support etc etc.

I dont see how this can be a debate as I cannot see how there is an other side of the argument, because it is morally wrong in doing such an act. I will be amazed if anyone said something like "I think it is right or I don't think it is wring." I dont thnk this act in any circumstances is desperate and needed to be done, and therefore this cannot be right.

Living in Aus i've heard about this alot in the past couple of weeks...They only had the funeral for her today....or yesterday..Or something like that...

But if you really want to debate it....

Those that were arguing that the guy didn't act morally wrong might have a arguement...

There is no case against the fact that he was a sick twisted mofo....But seriously You could debate that what he did wasn't morally wrong...It was legally wrong....

Apparently, i lived in a country with capital punishment. Some countries feel my country is sicko to kill off those bastards. But i feel, that is a best way to clear up such bastard....Die and go to hell

Anyway,I dont think such psyco will repent in jail anyway....in the end, it is still wasting taxpayers' money to feed them...for 50years?

Actually, law here in Brazil rapists suffer way more, cuz cops beat them first, but all other criminals usually mutilate, torture and make rapists go thru hell on earth inside jail if they're ever caught. Be accused of genocide, but don't b a rapist in Brazil. It is a social trend here, 2 ignore any kind of human rights 2 rapists, and no1 gives a shit (what doesn't surprise me). But sometimes one or another appears even tho. So no, threat does not help avoid, only teaching your kids how 2 react can save them, like teaching marial arts or something, or not leaving them outta sight b4 they can stick up for themselves.

Now I don't know if she was christian, catholic, buddist or what... but I think that fits the bill.

It's sick that nowadays and in the past, people rape old and young.
Killing the young is killing off the future generations.

I know I can't understand fully what this family is going through, but I know how it feels to lose someone.
