Naruto has had more than a year of fillers. It has lost like over 50% of its anime audience. Of course it isnt there.

And no it wont...Neon Genesis is a classic. Bleach wont beat it, especially with the crap animation of Ichigo vs Byakuya and the existence of fillers withing the series.

One more thing....little kids are the ones who watch Bleach. Older audiences are the ones who watch Evangelion (<--- Over 10 years old).

One of the main appeals of anime may probably be the imaginative and unexpected plot twists. The kind of twists that cause peoples' jaws to drop is most likely what motivates everyone to see episode after episode.
Other things like the high sequential art form of anime is also a major factor.
For me, anime like Bleach is an escapist venture. I can forget about other issues when I'm immersed in watching an episode

Inuyasha characters are more powerful than the average anime. They are, however, still no match for Bleach characters. Byakuya's bankai releases millions of blades that attack you from all sides. Ow?

Sessy's father who was many many many times stronger than him was not that fast. In his last stand sort of thing it took him many seconds to run to the weird human stronghold. Byakuya would have shunpo'd there in a second. The humans were firing arrows at him and he got hit by some O_O!!! There were only about 20-50 arrows fired so how do you think he would deal with millions of blades? Once you have thought of that then think about how Sessy, a weaker and slower character, would deal with them.

Inuyasha characters are mini Bleach characters at best =/


Actually, we don't know how fast Inu no Taisho is... since he's never been in the manga. I don't trust what the movie shows us since it was never part of the main storyline. In fact, there hasn't even been a glimpse of him in the manga. Only Sesshy's mom, who is completely badass.

As far as my own opinion, I'm not sure who would win, to be honest. These two characters are by far my favorite out of all the anime I watch. It would be an awesome battle.

Not sure if you'll come back to read this or already finished your costume, but I got this advice from a friend.

Go to a karate/asian uniform shop and buy a black karate uniform, and ask them if they have black colored hakamas (for kendo I believe).

At this point you can toss the karate belt and pants, since you'll only be using the top jacket part.

Buy some scrap white cloth from a local fabric store, make the white belt out of it and use leftovers to add white to the end of the sleeves of the karate uniform and to the portion around the neck. or...you can glue it, I don't know.

This seems like the simplelest way without having to sew too much and its pretty quick. You can staple it too? XD I wouldn't reccommend stapling though.

Put on the modified karate uniform, then tuck it into the hakama. Tie the white cloth around your waist, stick in a katana. And there ya' go its done.

Ah yea, almost forgot shoes, but you can get two-toed tabi socks and japanese style shoes at the local asian/karate/uniform shop as well I believe.

then there's his level of 2 tails, 3 tails, 4 tails.
at 6 tails no one can stop him.

Well if we go off of the "only things we have seen thing," then we can't really use naruto going nine tails, cause we haven't acutally seen him go 9tails, I believe 4 tails was the highest seen. Though he does have the Fox Chakra protecting/healing him somewhat, his body still takes damage from it and can only last so long..unfortunately I think Kariya could outlast the time Naruto would be able to sustain his tailed form.

And on the matter of naruto nearly obliterating Sasuke in onetail form, you have to remember Sasuke is merely human, I think Kariya is on a much higher scale of power than Sasuke was at that time.

with that said, I think Kariya would win, simply cause of the power difference in Bleach and Naruto characters have. Though Naruto does have that whole "main character" thing going for him. So he would prob find some way to kage bunshin and rasengan Kariya to death>.>

a character who is exactly the same throughout an entire series is really boring, ie naruto, despite all the other side characters. i really must have good character development in an anime in order to enjoy an anime.

Has anybody watched the anime or read the manga? The series has 24 episodes and it was first aired in 2005, and the manga was first released in 2004. The series is...dark, to say the least. There is no "good charachters" don't die rule and the shounen rules don't apply here since everybody is the target pretty much. It features a lot of violence and occasional nudity.
There is also little or no comical relief at all.

Unlike Naruto, shinobi here have more or less normal abilities like hand to hand combat, shuriken, weapons etc. but each of them posseses one unique and/or supernatural jutsu.

The interesting part is that this manga/anime was turned into a movie.

Basilisk is great. I watched the entire series summer this year.
Its one of those Ninja Scroll - like anime's that has nudity and is pretty bloody.
Story is good, animation is also good. What I really like is the abilities of the ninjas unique only to a clan.

The animation was good, the storyline was good, and the characters (and their abilities) were good as well. I thought the anime was a little short though (as in every episode someone died) but I was still happy with everything. I have also read the graphic novel and watched the movie Shinobi (based on Basilisk).

My favourite character in the Iga clan is also Yashamaru and Koshiro, and my favourite character in the Kouga clan is Hyouma.

I'm a little surprised he's lower on the list, but then again, that list may also incorporate international sales, so I can see how it's a bit lower. i think everyone knows why akira toriyama is there, and eichiiro oda, but why not tite kubo?Though great and ridiculously hardcore, Kube just isn't as popular at the moment. He has only one ongoing series and he's fairly new. I mean, BLEACH is currently running in Shounen Jump and then there are the graphic novels, but even with the international licensing, it wouldn't accumulate to that much.

The other titles are just incredibly more popular and their books are most likely printed and reprinted (and reissued) more. Sure BLEACH got a musical and an OAV, but NANA has had two live action movies, a badass soundtrack, multiple promotions (featured in ShojoBeat), and then consider that Ai Yazawa drew 4 other immensely popular titles.

Not that Kubo Tite isn't awesome; it's just that Ai Yazawa is a beast.

1. Talim was only better than Ivy in the first SC, if I recall correctly. And Talim was really overpowered in that one. Kind of like Ness in SSB1. After that, Ivy was pretty much top tier, while Talim was considerably lower.

2. Ivy isn't cheap, as she needs a great deal of skill to master.. Summon Suffering and Calamity Symphony, plus all of those moves, like Dark Raven (I'm pretty sure that's what it's called... Down + Back + B), etc.... they're hard to use, and it's hard to judge which will actually work, and if it will work well.
Talim, however, yeesh... Forward forward, a a, down x, down forward x, y y, repeat. THAT is cheap, and easy as hell. It's so cheap, I can even remember how to counter it with each general character. I can even remember the button presses. Something has got to be pretty cheap for me to actually take that much notice of it :P
Talim is so easy.

3. Ivy would beat Renji in both Normal and Shikai.
Think of Taki, she's super fast, and has all the ninja-esque traits. A good deal of Ivy's moves have been proven to be faster than Taki, even the easily side-stepped B moves.
Ivy could hit him, and Renji has smaller precision with Zabimaru in its released sate, and his attacks are slower. Ichigo pretty much sidesteps one.

Also, Renji has 3 whips consecutively, then he's open. Ivy never stops.
Her Summon Suffering would also own Renji, Byakuya style.

Renji's bankai would give Ivy trouble, even though she has physical ability way past that of a human.
But she would most likely kill him before he gets to that.

I actually think my view has changed from Renji to Ivy. She can dodge his Shikai, and hit him too fast for him to react.

He then reformed, and killed the Preist.

The Male part of the duo, got in 30 shots, and the same thing happened.

With both of these opponents, Alucard impaled them on his fist, this is a symbol of him displaying his power to them.
When he fights, he likes to break opponents, then destroy them.
He makes them think they've won, then he stands up and obliterates them.

3. As a ninja, Taki's kinda slow. Renji is a shinigami. I haven't watched Bleach in awhile(other than the dubs on Adult Swim), so I don't recall if Renji can shunpo or not. I don't think I've seen him do it, so yeah, Ivy could hit him. And yes, his moves are slow as well. But think about his stamina. It would take a large amount of hits from Ivy's sword to even bring Renji down to a knee.. kthx.

basically the story goes this kid saves a girl in a strange school uniform and dies, then she save him with alchemy, in which he gains his own arm alchemy to fight the evil Humonculi, cuz when are they good?
I though i was good and pretty funny if not a little too stupid for a few seconds, though i must say this music can be cheesy as hell.

*spoilers*OK seeing how i didnt find another thread on this new anime i decided to make one.
Basically the story is about how the earth has three species one vampire, one human, and one of the kowloon child(basically the normal evil vamps that need to suck blood to survive), though they never actually specifically say this.
The main characters is a vampire, with a horrible hat in my opinion, who is over a 100 years old, his nickname Silver Blade, and his brother a vampire who is immune to sunlight and water, though they havnt said anything about this.
They're trying to get to the secret zone(or whatever zone it is) along the way they meet up with a compromiser from the company that somewhat controlls the secret zone.

I must say my favorite thing about this anime is the orgasmic vampire sucking scenes:Haha. You'll see what i mean if you watch.

Well seeing how its beeing fansubbed now and it didnt see a topic on i decided to make one(yes i used the search feature!)
*Spoilers*Basically its a new anime by Clamp(woot!)and sunrise inc, the drawing style is supposed to be similair to that of tsubasa chronicle but i never atually watched cuz it was too girly for me, at first myself i didnt like it but five minutes later i was liking it more than xxholics way. The story goes in the future Japan has been taken over by the world super power Britania(this a v for vendetta what i happening!)and has been renamed Area 11, all its inhabitants are now 11s.

*larger spoiler dont say i didnt warn*So the main character as you see in a sorta flash back thing vows to destroy britania, we flash 7 years into the future were his a student of britania and he just kicked a Nobles ass in chess, him and his friend are driving back to the school were they get involved in a "traffic accident" Lelouch(the main char) goes to help the people who "crashed" and ends up falling in the truck. Surprise they're actually "terrorist" who have stolen poisen gas, but when the gas container open, what is inside, a woman! Who then to saves his(and hers most likely) by forms a contract with him.

3. As a ninja, Taki's kinda slow. Renji is a shinigami. I haven't watched Bleach in awhile(other than the dubs on Adult Swim), so I don't recall if Renji can shunpo or not. I don't think I've seen him do it, so yeah, Ivy could hit him. And yes, his moves are slow as well. But think about his stamina. It would take a large amount of hits from Ivy's sword to even bring Renji down to a knee.. kthx.

1. Any gamer should know that regardless of players, some characters just in general, have better stats.
Take Super Smash Bros. Melee, Marth. Long reach, hgih damage, decent wavedashing, excellent edgeguarding, a controlled jump...
Then you have Pichu, who damages itself with every move, is fast, but does atrocious damage, poor jumps, awful wavedash.

If two completely equal players fought it out, Marth would win.

I'm not saying that the character's stats are more important than the player, but in general, picking a higher tier character will get better results.

Why take a Ditto if you can use a Crobat, you know?

So, really, saying Talim > Ivy is false. Character stats dictate that.
However, your Talim > my Ivy, yeah, most likely.

(I'm not too good as SCII, I don't really remember combos well... as well as the many advanced techniques included in metagame... I find that I understand the game better than I play it.)

2. False. Looking at Ivy's moves, I see none that are easy to pull of just by buttonmashing.
Her only move which I can see immediately is her A A A, and that requires a stance. But then, bam. Pretty much all characters have an A, A, A, and they also have B, B, B, and A + B, and B + K. Ivy? No. These moves for her put her into stances.
And any player of Soul Calibur should know that there isn't such thing as an Ivy expert. Why? She's too hard.
She is top tier, because she has great stats like Cervantes and Xianhua, but it is commonly thought that she would have her own band if fully unleashed.

1. The CPUs, don't have to input buttons, or train themselves to know when to use moves. They are coded to make the best decision.
2. If you have fought the best Ivys' in the world, (who, is no expert with her, as said before, no-one is), I bet they just GB'd your first move, hit you with a quick attack, used Embrace of Lust, and buffered into Summon Suffering, or something, and you assumed it was a common trick.

You can ask anyone, Ivy is extremely hard to use, and is even harder to buttonmash with. Most of her simple moves, when not strung into intricate combos, are slow and easily punishable. I don't see where you're basing your opinions.

To say the least, can you outline which moves are cheap?
At least then, I might be able to help you with your problems.

And the fact that you're comparing her to Talim, who has most of the easiest combos in the game, which can be linked together without a second thought, just confuses me more.

His stamina... well... let's just say that no-one really dies in Bleach. In a realistic battle, Byakuya would aim for the head, and turn it into mush, and that's what Ivy would do.

Could she could kill him before Bankai? I'd assume so. Unless Renji knew exactly what the danger was, he probably would take his time before using it.
If he came prepared though,, I can't say I'd know.

However, I firmly believe that in a standard battle, he wouldn't pull his Bankai quick enough.

To be exact, BR is like Bleach meets FMA.

All in all I thought it was ok, but I wasn't too big on it.

I heard it was cancelled during it's run, but later had other vols released or something like that, as a way to end it. In short, the masses didn't love it, but the otaku sect ate it up (the volumes sold better and got more ratings than the chapters in it's run in weekly jump) But it seems Watsuki did something right if people are gambling on making this an anime.

yeah DMC 2 was really bad compared to the first and third one.
i suggest you buy DMC 3 expansion which let's you play as virgil (dante's twin brother)
or you can wait for DMC 4 for PS3 though i'm not sure about this info, because i've heard that XBOX wanted to buy the rights for DMC.

i don't want to repeat what everybody before me said so i'll just say that right now, i think bleach is better than naruto because of the better story line, the character development, the battles and the humor. Naruto right now is sorta boring especially for the older anime viewers, it's too childish and with all those fillers...geez!!! i won't even talk about the fillers.
anyway, my point is that if naruto gets back to the main story and picks up at the part were naruto is 15 years old the whole anime might become popular and interesting again.

Having new goals, Keitaro follows Seta on an overseas archeology trip. During his absence, however, all was not well in Hinata Lodge. Urashima Kanako, Keitaro's sister, arrives on the scene. She claims to be the new manager of Hinata Lodge starts to go against all the tenants. Things become even more complicated when they recieve a letter from Keitaro. The tenants and Kanako made a big mess trying to get the letter, but Seta's car crashes in before anyone could read the letter...
Keitaro needs some time to evaluate himself and his goals, so he goes onto a trip with Seta to attempt the life of an archaeologist. However, not all is safe at the Hinata Inn while he is gone. A woman claiming to be Keitaros sister comes and claims right to being the manager of the inn. Life gets complicated when Keitaro returns, and attempts to deal with his sister of yesteryear.

Vash would win this one, he's has the best marksmanship, at least over normal human limits. Kenshin just has a blade, and he can't deflect all the bullets, as good as a swordsman he is. The best Kenshin can do is dodge and deflect while Vash has the upper hand with range and firepower. Besides, Kenshin was deflecting crappy slow ass bullets back when guns had crappy firepower compared to now a la Vash's world.

I don't know who would win. I think that they are both gods of fighting whether they kill or not. Kenshin is really fast but so is Vash. They both would put up a long fight and I would really love to see a fight between the two. Actually, IMO, if you look at it, they are both like the same person in their respective animes just that one has a sword and the other has a gun. If you go based solely on that then the person with the gun would win. But since I believe that they are both fast enough to dodge bullets(and lucky enough/quick thinkers) and that Vash could probably avoid Kenshins sword just as good then the fight would last for a while but Vash would only have to land one bullet whereas Kenshin would have to land a few good slices on Vash before Vash would go down unless Kenshin got really lucky.

So basically, IMO, it depends totally on luck unless Vash decided to whip out the angel arm in which case he would win.

Well I think anime is popular because it's so versatile - you want a gun? sure, here. You want a big gun? sure, here you go. You want a pistol that can destroy cities? Here it is. And then you want that gun, and a sword 6 feet long that can cut a building in two?, and if you want to jump 100 feet in the air, why not, could be fun.

She can summon a legendary weapon, or turn a select area into a different reality ideal to how she wishes to fight. Of course, it takes quite a bit of power to do this.
(Of course, if you mean baddest as in literally bad, Arc falls out of the category as she's good)

As for Wallachia, after making a pact with Arcueid's sister on the night of the crimson moon, he became a Tatari, a "god of tricks" of sorts. Basically a phenomenon. With this ability he's able to manifest people's deepest fears and nightmares into material forms. and to top it off, being that he's a phenomenon, he can't be killed at all until the crimson moon appears again.

Of course, there's also Nrvnqsr(Nero) Chaos. A vampire who's body earned him the name of Chaos, being that it's a swirling goopy mass of beings he's consumed into his body. To be exact, 666 beasts, animals, monsters, and legendary creatures. They all think individually an dreact individually, and also follow his commands. He can also see through their eyes, being as they're part of him. And to top it all off, Nero can't be killed unless all 666 beings are killed SIMULTANIOUSLY. In short, you kill a few wolves he sends out, and the wolves corpses will just melt and relocate into his body.

A bit god-modding, yes, but no more than Mr Alucard
