I would say that unless one can really offer a real summary for a show then they should not put it down. If the only One Piece that someone has seen is the on TV that has been dubbed then they are not getting the true One Piece. Watch some subs on this show. It is really amazing. I am a new fan and I have really liked what I have seen so much so that at this time I have character from the show in my siggy.

Ahh...my first post here. Well, I only saw the anime of Bastard that was released in the US, so I wasn't aware of all the stuff DS had under his sleeve. Still, Silver Surfer has his milk. Silver Surfer, or Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet(or anyone with the Infinity Guantlet for that matter...) And in a less "Oh my GOD! That guy just TOTALLY pwned Dark Schneider!" way, Superman.

Thanos simply changes the laws of DS's powers...or the Judas Pain. Why destroy 200 shields when you can simply will them into marshmallows or what have you. Or, place him in an anti-matter prison. Or, change his atomic make-up into that of anti-matter. When anti-matter and matter touches, they both cancel out and are destroyed not in the physical since of exploding...but it just stops existing. Or, if he can't wipe him from existence, wipe his SOUL from existence. Or imprison it. Cosmic powers trump magic in Marvel. Also, Superman can lift 500 quintillion tons with one hand,officially. So he can smash through those shields with a laughably small amount of effort. But his weakness is magic, so...i dunno. Silver Surfer can manipulate any form of matter or energy that exists in the cosmos, so I'm assuming he'll do the same as Thanos.

Superman gains strength from a yellow sun...so I guess he'll drag him into the sun. Everytime his atoms reform, he'll beat him into paste, all the while growing in strength making DS spend an eternity being pounded and burned to nothing, over and over. Come to think of it...even though the Flash is only as fast as the speed of light, if he managed to toss DS into the speed force, he would never escape, because it's basically a column of pure speed that extends throughout all universes, thus letting Flash run to different dimensions.

Also, if I remember correctly, DS is trapped inside a boy, and only comes out when the kid is kissed...so why not kill off the kid before DS comes out?

Wow...all of these choices came strait from comics...I'll try to think up anime chars that can beat him later.

So...no one's joking here, right? You seriously believe that Auron can beat Cloud? Like...in all seriousness? Wow...I mean, I know it's cool to not like Final Fantasy 7 because of fanboys...but to me, a fanboy is someone who defends whatever they like whether their arguments are logical or not. FF7 is my favorite FF, but I can defend it properly without resorting to fanboyish ranting.

Allow me to enlighten. There are institutions that determine a character's worth as a fighter: power, skill, endurance, stuff like that. Look at these carefully before posting guys.

Skill? Let's look at the character's background. Cloud was trained to be a member of an elite mercenary organization (SOLDIER), so count elite martial arts and weaponry skills as his advantage. Auron is some guy hired to protect a summoner. We don't know at all how skilled he is. Only that the guy is OLD. So, while he has experience, it's probably only experience fighting enemies of a summoner (your occasional monster or kidnapper looking for ransom money). Cloud fought whoever he was paid to fight. Criminal organizations, enemies of SOLDIER, whatever.

Power? Cloud was juiced up with Mako, making him a super-soldier. Add that to Jenova's cells further mutating him into uber-ness. As far as we know, Auron just has sword-fighting skills. Also, those sword-fighting skills won't do a whole lot of good against Knights Of The Effing Round. Both characters can use magic. Only one can summon.

Endurance? Auron is dead...so there's his only obvious advantage. Unless Cloud obliterates his body, he might pose a threat. However, don't forget that Cloud, while impaled with Sephiroth's sword, picked him up and tossed him off the corridor that held Jenova's chamber. Stabbing him once won't end the fight.

Speed? Not only is Auron old, but Cloud is pumped up with Mako as stated earlier. Every physical attribute about him is powered up beyond the limits of your natural soldier. That includes speed.

X-factor? The thing that makes a winner get back up, blow after blow to fight, no matter how bad they're getting trashed? Cloud'll just have another vision of Aeris and pull out another new limit break to save the day. Auron obviously didn't have an X-factor when he fought Yunalesca (oooooooh, burn!)

Lets put it this way. Dante had a sword pass right through his chest and is still alive and kicking (play or re-play DMC3 if you don't know what I'm talking about =p).

Sessou, most of your points in favor of Tidus are void.

1- He didn't fight Sin alone. He had Yuna, Lulu, Auron, Kimahri, Rikku and Wakka by his side. That doesn't compare to Dante who fights solo.

2- He can't use a sword properly. He's no expert at it. First time he ever used a sword was when Auron gave him one. He even fell right after catching it =/. Dante on the other hand is rather nimble with a sword... And every other weapon he finds in his way >_>.

The only requirement to kill Alucard is to be powerful and human. Ichigo meets both of those traits and far exceeds the latter's requirement. What is the getbackers about? My friend who moved to ontario recently mentioned that anime once or twice, and now i'm hearing it's name again.
It is pretty much about a 2-man retrieving team that can be hired to get any item(s) back. And, like in other animes, it has a large cast of good and bad guys with weird powers. Pretty good all around, especially the first main arc. I don't know how good the 2nd is since i'm not there in the anime or manga.

In order for his mangekyou sharingan to take effect the opponent has to make eye contact (Gai developed a trick to fight againest sharingan users by watching their feet), Therefore all Byakuya has to do is not look at his eyes. I also really doubt Itachi can dodge Senbonzakura when Byakuya uses his hands. Ichigo couldn't, he had to deflect it. So I don't think Itachi can.

Responding to the earlier reply to my post, Cloud was comatose during the Zack parts of the story simply because Zack was the failure, not Cloud. The genova cells were in the process of assimilating Cloud and Zack both, which takes a while apparently. Zack, being such a cool and confident guy, had the will to overcome the mental strain, thereby cutting him off from the full genova influence. Which is a shame...if he was as mentally unstable as Cloud, he would've become a genova powered God aswell. Anyway, Cloud's coma situation is actually a strength, not a weakness.

Your knowledge of Jenova is somewhat lacking, lemme fill you in. Zack's body did not react to the Jenova cells. Meaning Jenova's cells caused no change in his body. The only reason he was strong was the fact he was in SOLDIER. Cloud's body on the other hand was basically the perfect fit making him the first perfect sephiroth clone. The weakness after effects were because of changes in his body (Jenova cells fusing with your cells DUH!). Other things such as his mental instability are just problems with him and have nothing to do with Jenova's influence. The Geostigma from FFVII AC is just a regular disease.

In fact, he was anticipating death in a recent fight until his opponent made a stupid decision. He's not going to curbstomp Bankai Ichigo. He sure as hell isn't going to curb stomp Hollow Bankai Ichigo. A cero from the latter would most likely incinerate Alucard's entire body. Alucard wouldn't even be able to touch him due to his speed. Hell, his physical strength wouldn't even allow him to hurt Ichigo. Since strawberry has taken blows that would level buildings in the manga. Uh... It actually skips an enitre canon arc, Little Garden, which is very vital to the storyline. They might have cut two filler arcs, but imo, they chose the best two filler arcs to cut, while leaving the horrible Rainbow Mist Arc, which had plotholes.

Also, They cut so many things that they can merge two-three episodes into one, even Arlong's arc is basically shortened by half (In the end, they cut about 40 episodes worth of content). More importantly, they change the dialogue so much that many storyline/comical moments are ruined. Plus, they arent going past the Alabasta Arc, so you'd be missing out on Skypiea and CP9 (Plus whatever in the future). For the episodes they have dubbed, check out this site, they show/compare the things 4Kids changed:

The reason 4Kids did this was to make it so they could make their target audience, Kids from 7-11. So, they cut out almost all of the blood, suggestive comments, and almost everything to do with death. In Japan, One Piece's target audience was intended for a much wider range, even some young adults watch it. I will admit, when first watching One Piece, thinking about reading 288 worth of subtitles seems a bit tedious, but in the end, it wasnt a chore, it was really fun. I cant ever imagine other Voice Actors (it was bad enough having a substitute for Chopper for a while).

But Hollow Ichigo in Bankai form would be incredibly fast, as previously stated, ALSO, in Full-Hollow form, he has instant regeneration which is pretty much being invincible, also has the ability to shoot Ceros...

Since I'm not exactly up-to-date with Hellsing, I can't say too much, but I did include the instant regeneration part :).

Unlike Ichigo, I don't think Aizen is meeting a certain criteria in order to kill Alucard. He can be killed, but Sosuke is missing the defining trait necessary in order to do it. It doesn't matter though. This ends in a tie. Alucard can't even hurt Aizen. The amount of durability he has is insane. Attacks that can topple sky scrapers can't even break the traitor captain's skin. People here don't seem to read either the Hellsing or Bleach manga.

I will agree with everything that everyone has been telling you. If you truly want to have a wonderful and exciting experience with One Piece download the episodes. I know that it will take time but it will be worth it. I have been downloading the episodes lately. I know how much time that it takes but I want to see the real One Piece without anything edited especially the background music and for me personally I want to see Sanji smoke. Anyway 4Kids is not going to do any more dubbing which is a mercy.
Anyway I hope that you will watch One Piece from the beginning. It is a wonderful show that really packs a punch but it can only do that if it is in it's true form. I am not saying this as someone who only watches subs because most of the anime that I watch is the dubs but I will not watch the dub of One Piece because it is not complete and worse than that badly edited.
