Cloud's skills are pretty great, but his feats of skill and strength still aren't up to what Ichigo has done. His blade beam is nothing compared to getsuga tenshou, and his speed is far slower than shunpo. Ichigo would beat him easily.

Bleach is a good action anime but thats really it. It is fun to watch and all but it doesn't have any real substance at all. The story and characters are very cliche, but I like to have something for when I just want some cool crazy action and art style.

As for shonen anime/manga, I think Bleach is the only one I have watched. I seen a little bit of naruto, and Inuyasha (don't know if it is shonen or not but might as well be since basically has no substance or anything either and is pretty corny.)

That is one flaw of Bleach I would say, is the depth of story and characters. In my opinion if you think Bleach has a good compelling and in depth story you havn't watched or read anything with a decent one or I don't know what your thinking.

I mean the story is basically.... the main hero Ichigo, who talks all tough and everything goes saves the girl in distress and everything because hey he is the hero. Which is your basic fairytale story. Then ya he goes fights all the bad guys in his way saves the girl and then uh oh, another evil bad guy comes in striving for power and world domination and what have you. Then another girl needs rescuing (inoue) and then you have them do the same thing over again but in a different setting with different bad guys. Then ya you got other little snippets about characters and things to serve as a background and there you have it.

I mean I like Bleach, if I didn't I wouldn't be here, but nothing is perfect and that is the only real thing I don't like the very shallow story and all, in my opinion. But some people may like that kind of basic hero saves the day type of storyline.

Like EndlessSky said, Bleach is fun to watch, but it will never stand as a great anime. It follows the outline of shonen anime, yound boy discovereing powers, saving the girl, etc. There isn't anything really creative or daring in Bleach. It is all we have seen before. It's kinda like a mainstream rap song with a great beat. It sounds good, but you have seen it all before. Nothing revolutionary, just the typical shonen anime.

Bleach is cool because it has a lot of great fight scenes. I don't think it'll be a classic though. Although some of the characters are deep, much of the story is too shallow. The only real time I see Ichigo affected by his mother's lost was the few episodes with grand fisher. After that, it was like the character's past had nothing to do with him now. What I'm saying is, Bleach does have deep moments, but too much of it is shallow. It's like watching sports to me. I crave for action, but when the action is over, I want more, and if I don't, then I get bored.

It is a safe anime. Most shonen fans will like it because of the character design and action, because they already know what to expect.

It all really depends on what you like, I suppose. If you like shonens, the to you, Bleach is a great thing. If you think prefer depth of character and plot development, then it's probably not going to be the best. Personally, I prefer lots of action, and to me, the battles are unique, so I happen to enjoy Bleach quite a bit. But, I can see where people who like deep plotlines wouldn't enjoy it as much. So it's hard to say whether it's "good" or "bad"; like so many other things in life, it's a matter of personal preference.

Well, of course it's still a matter of taste. I know ppl who love Bleach but would hate the animes and mangas i like because there isn't enough action in them and there aren't swords and power ypgrades. If you like action and power levels and such, Bleach is for you. If you want to be affected and/or moved by the anime you watch, then it's not.
I like references and meaning in my animes. I like when you have to unravel ehat teh anime is trying to tell you when things occur, what statements it makes about humanity or life or our world. Something, shocking, surprising and moving. A lot to ask for? Yes. But there are some animes that have at least one or two of those components in them. I still like action, but a pure action anime would never make my top 3 favorite list.

Anywho. This match is hard to call. Sasuke looks to be the winner by far, yet Riku is capable of fighting people that far surpass Sasuke in power/speed (Org XIII members).

Sasuke is faster, unless you count Riku's reaction commands to dodge Xemnas' thorns.

Speed - ?

Sasuke has a large arsenal of jutsu, whereas Riku has Keyblade attacks. Riku can create that Dark Barrier, use Aura Bullets, etc.

Power/Abilities - ?

It might come down to Sasuke's Sharingan. Which, contrary to popular beliefs, is capable of doing more than copying jutsu. People don't realize that it doesn't copy the actual attack, but the handsigns(movements) used for them. Which is why Blood-line jutsu can't be copied.

Why did I bring this up? If Riku should bust out his speed, Sasuke can follow him easily, which might be the deciding factor, since Riku can't do that if Sasuke picked up his pace.

I'm really not into anime/manga that are just pure action with no story at all (like DB/DBZ/DBGT for example), I don't consider action an important asset when it comes to anime. Hell, some of my favourite anime/manga series have very deep storylines with no action at all.

I think that Bleach started off looking very promising, with a fairly good storyline, unique cast, and lots of action at the same time. But it somehow went downhill after the Soul Society arc began, with the battles getting increasingly predictable, and the storyline becoming less indepth.

For the whole SS arc, it was basically just: Ichigo and co. broke into Soul Society, defeated anyone who got in their way, saved Rukia from execution, someone from Soul Society faked their death and turned traitor, Ichigo and co. finally go back to the human world... etc. It's not really what I would call an indepth storyline, so I would definitely not recommend this series to anyone looking for good storyline.

As for the action part, most of the fights, IMO, were very predictable. I could always figure out who would end up winning a fight as soon as they began. It always seemed like Ichigo would lose as each battle began, but somehow he manage to end up with some new-found power in the end and defeat his opponent, which is no surprise, seeing as most Shonen anime likes to have this type of main character...

As for the characters of Bleach, I agree that most of them are pretty much just average Shonen manga characters, especially Ichigo, he is a typical example of what most Shonen heroes are like; tough and strong-willed. Albeit these characters are very cliche, they still end up having unique and interesting traits. Every single character in Bleach is different in some way, and we can differ them from each other quite easily (unlike some anime, where one characters is virtually a clone of another.) I think that most fans of Bleach know these characters so well to the point that they can even predict how they would react under certain circumstances. I wouldn't say these characters' past experiences are very original ideas, but they still keep us interested nevertheless.

Overall, I think that Bleach is a "good" anime for those who solely likes to watch action, who don't care much about storyline or character development. Of course, it would be a "bad" anime for those looking for something original to watch instead of old, reused ideas.

lol the last order is the anime ver of that happen during that part of the game. its really a part form the game that they true to an anime. all its also a small intro to Crisis Core the new game for the character Zack. telling how he got into the SOLDIER ment Cloud, Sephiroth, Tifa, and Aerith. it also tell why he left Aerith to join the SOLDIER. And a intro to the other Before Crisis a game that tell the story of the Turks the guys after them in the small OVA.

To continue what Terra said about the characters of Bleach, herte is what i also think. One good thing is that they all look impressively different and have things that you associate with them. When you think of Urahara, you think of his green and white hat. Rukia has her split bangs. Renji his hair and eyebrows, etc. The same goes fo the minor characters. When you think of the 9th division vice captain, you think of the 69 tattoo and his scars. It is impressive to have all your characters look drastically different. Too bad the storyline and depth isn't there.

I'm not familiar with Tekkaman, but Guyver Gigantic is insanely powerful. The gigasmasher is 100 times as powerful as the normal Guyer's megasmasher. The beam it generates can one shot tokyo. Its physical strength is over the class 100 ton range. The upgraded armor can also fly at supersonic speed. Gigantic's vibroblades can extend to an indefinite length and be used like whips, its pressure spheres are the size of battleship shells, and all the other abilities are wanked out too.

It's tough to call, since we didn't really get to se envy fight very much (at least in the anime, never read the manga). I would have to say that envy's superhuman strength and endurance just from being a homonculus would be enough to beat lee. Lee's speed is clearly superior, but it wouldn't do him any good if he couldnt' hurt his opponent, because homonculi are, you know...invincible. Now if they were fighting over envy's remains, I would have to say that lee could finish the fight fast enough with the fifth gate that envy wouldn't have a chance to wear him down.

I don't think it's fair to limit Renji's strength by saying he's in the real world. Otherwise, Naruto couldn't hit Renji cause Renji's invisible to Naruto. Naruto currently has never fully broken the seal and has never gone past 4 tailed state. Renji's attacks would severely disable or kill Naruto before Naruto becomes angry enough to release enough tails to win.

My top three;

Air - A really unique albeit confusing series. It turns to a more psychological genre towards the end.
Kanon '06 - Very funny...for me at least, since I love sarcastic comedy. It also has various elements of drama as the story goes on, but its still a fun watch.
Shuffle! - It has lots and lots of drama, and also has comedy. It has various twists so it turns out to be a great watch.

^I didn't put Love Hina up there only because I don't like lighthearted anime.

Anyway, I got bored of that shit about midway through the reading.

First of all, his exmaple made me laugh: "One piece is better than Bleach". One Piece has Luppi doing the same: "Gomu <name>" and pwnzoring his opponent. Yeah. So much better. Loads of sad pasts and depth too, there. With some more "Gomu >name<" in between.

Second, if the shithead doesn't want to watch Bleach, he doesn't have to flame it, expecially since Bleach is more Seinen than Shounen (surprise!). It focuses more on character realtionships than battles. Ooh, surpirse, all the battles are the same.

Yeah they are. Surprised? This is what happens when you are watching Seinen: you get less unpredicatble battles and more deep character relationships.

BUT WHY IS IT THAT IN BLEACH I DON'T SEE ANY SERIOUS RELATIONSHIPS?

Because a. they are very subtle and you have to look for them, b. theere are a lot of characters so it will take ages to see them all.

So, you get a baby Seinen/Shounen anime, and you immediatly decide it's shitty. Genius, say I.

And indeed, this belongs more in the Bleach section.

Forgot to add: Naruto has the shitties character cast ever intoduced in the anime world. I still hate all of the characters in naruto.

I think Bleach is a lot more shonen than seinen, Undying. It follows the shonen outline of teenage heroes finding out they have powers, male teenage hero saves a girl in distress. Upgrade to powers. A new evil guy emerges. Another upgrade. It is a formula more evident in shonen and seinen. Seinen animes like Trigun, Gungrave, Berserk, etc. have a very different stucture. And when the structure is diffrent, you can make the characters and story more deep as well.

As Targ said Lee's speed is superior to begin with and with the fifth gate he could end it, but it's his trump. So if he used it and failed to end the fight there and then, the victory is Envy's. That's why I said it's seinen/shounen and not "it's seinen".

Of course it follows a lot of the shounen structure, and so on. But it's untrue that a new villian appears constantly - Bleach only had one supervillian so far (unlike other shounen anime with a constant stream of new supervillians).

Whatever. My point is, it does have a lot of seinen in it, so the battles aren't the main focus.

BTW, if you saw Tenjou Tenge, you'd see a lot of repetitive battles there two. Does it make Tenjou Tenge any less?

And also, unlike other shounen anime, the girl in question isn't the main focus... it's the idea behind it.

Since this is KH2 version Sephiroth, I had to re-read up on his skills before destroying this topic...hence the long time without replies. I took the liberty of letting Sephiroth beat them all one by one rather than in one fell swoop, just for you Org. XIII fans. Enjoy...

Xigbar fires from afar, attempting to hit the speedy Sephiroth or atleast keep him pre-occupied while Xaldin circles lances around him as well. Sephiroth simply uses his speed and/or teleportations to escape the swarm of bullets and lances, to find Saix prepared to take the head-on approach. They clash several times before Seph launches a flaming pillar that sucks Saix toward it with it's gravitational pull. Sephiroth is now free to perform a fatal Omnislash on Saix, but is teleported to a narrow corridor by Xigbar, saving his partner who was too busy avoiding the pillar to fight back. This allows Saix to hold back long enough for the pillar to die off...but was a mistake, since Xigbar is now forced to deal with Sephiroth alone. Xigbar then goes into sniper-mode, aiming at Sephiroth with the sights of his "guns". He fires away with abandon at Sephiroth...who teleports behind him and impales him, the same way he did Aeris...*sniff*. One down.

After the space-time manipulation wears off because of Xigbar's death, Xaldin and Saix can now see their opponent cleaning the blood from his sword, standing victorious over his opponent. Before Sephiroth can mutter something all cool-like, Xaldin launches a row of lances at Sephiroth, who is surprised...but still fast enough to jump over the assault, merely suffering a scratch on his coat. Saix however, enraged by the indifference of his opponent, meets Sephiroth in the air and swings his sword/axe/mace thingie downward, attempting to bludgeon Sephiroth's head. Sephiroth blocks with the Masamune...but is forced back down to the ground. A smile spreads across his face, as he sees the anger well up in the eyes of his enemies. The death of their comerade. The realization that everything they had planned up until now was all for naught, thanks to him. The thought that the strength they boasted of so much, paled in comparison to his own...it was euphoric to Sephiroth. He cackled menacingly as he simply deflected, parried, and countered Xaldin and Saix alike, before Xaldin, in a rage, disappears from the battlefield and reappears on a massive dragon. Saix leaps out of the path of the dragon's breath attack...and Sephiroth teleports just as the breathe attack barelly touches him, giving the illusion that he had been incinerated and placeing him out of view. Saix calls out to Xaldin, who doesn't hear him because of the roar of the dragon...once again, a well placed Masamune to the back ends the life of one of Org. XIII. Two down.

While Sephiroth belittles the corpse of Xaldin and the dragon disappears. Saix attacks him from behind, taking a page out of Sephiroth's book. The blow launches Sephiroth across the battlefield into a mountain, leaving a massive crater in the side. Surprised, Sephiroth looks up to find an army of Heartless and Nobodies surrounding him, and an enraged Saix disappearing, then reappearing above him, attempting to crush him into the ground. Sephiroth teleports out of the way, but is placed in between the thick of the army. Saix, in Berserk mode, slays Heartless and Nobodie alike as he runs fullspeed, swinging like a madman while searching for Sephiroth. Sephiroth simply teleports in random intervals, allowing Saix to take out the enemies for him. Occasionally, he would cut down one or two droves inorder to give him breathing room, but after a few minutes, he grew bored and decided to end things sooner rather than later. After floating into the air, Sephiroth releases a maelstrom of meteors, completely wiping out everything he saw. Saix rises up from beneath the thousands of dead minions, drained from the onslaught, but further enraged. Soon, Sephiroth's sword pierces through his back and out of his chest as yet another Org. XIII member is finished...or so Sephiroth thought. Saix turns and strikes Sephiroth once again with his weapon, launching him away and forming a trench in the ground from him slideing backwards from the force of the attack. Sephiroth, no longer underestimating his opponent, uses several of his homing orb attack (the one that appears around you and follows you), and a few of his flaming pillar attacks at the same time. While Saix is busy avoiding said attacks, he feels his strength begin to leave his body...and notices the Halo that floated above his opponent's head (Sin something...harvest maybe?). Sephiroth then teleports directly in front of Saix, kicking him backward into a wall...which forces the Masamune, which is still stuck in his back, to be pushed in deeper. Saix falls down to his knees as Sephiroth walks over to him. He picks up Saix's weapon, and with one swipe, beheads his opponent.

Now this is alot more honorable than me just saying he'll use Sin Harvest and his meteor attack back to back and kill them all in one fell swoop. You should be happy. Likewise, evertime one of them died, it was in a situation where they would not/could not teleport through darkness, so...there.

Well, when you look at it in a fanfic point of view then sure whaever you say, your story. But instead of putting in all that, let's simply put it like this. (N.B. Full moon= Berserk Saix)

1. From the beginning, as soon as Sephiroth even thinks of using that pillar is a big mistake. You should listen more. Saix is invincible when in that state. Therefore, Sephiroth's fire pillars are ineffective. Which means already he's taken a direct, fatal attack from BERSERK Saix.

2. Xaldin summons his dragon and makes it attack forward...which is why Xigbar teleported the wounded Sephiroth right into the dragon's attack, while Saix can also go into the attack to give more damage due to invincibilty.

Need I say more?
If you need anymore Sephiroth pwnage lemme know.

I should listen more? Wow, man...How well did you read my post by the way? Also, compare the lifebars of Sephiroth and the Org. XIII group before assuming the dragon would end Sephiroth so quickly. Same fact applies to a direct attack from Berserk Saix. And I completely remember posting that the flaming spiral was to pull Saix toward it, not kill him. It's called strategy. So now Saix is immune to gravity, huh? While he's pulling away from the attack, Sephiroth is busy annihilating his other opponents...get it? No. No, you don't.

You know what? Sin move+meteor move=dead everybody anyway. If we can agree on anything, it'll be the fact that I just completely wasted a totally good, intelligent post...sigh.

Quick question before a legitimate post from me: What's the point of having a fight, where all opponents are stripped of their strengths? If they do happen to lose the fight, then it's because of a handycap, and not because their opponent was superior.

When I start a thread here, I usually go for similarities and semi-equal powerlevels because those make for the most kick-ass fights. Tekkaman vs. Guyver, due to them both being bio-armor wearers and they focus on bladed weapon melee fighting. Sora and Riku vs. Dante and Vergil because both sides are a duo of swordsmen who make a perfect team, and can weild powerful magic aswell.

I can't help but think that every arena thread that Cloud and Sephiroth appear in are simply because the thread's creator hates the character that much. It's...sad...

I think you guys over-estimate the power of Soul Caliber. The most destructive attacks Siegfried has in the game is the one where he cuts you with his sword...and...the other one where he cuts you with his sword. Seriously. No projectiles. No super-fast cutting combos. No battelfield destroying explosions. No summons. No magic. No equippable status aids...

...Against Cloud. Really. Not even Nightmare, just...regular Siegfried. Cloud wins hands down. What? You wanna take away Cloud's repertoire AGAIN? Fine. He still wins. Simply too strong/fast for Siegfried (jenova cells, mako, you know the drill). Soul Calibur heals you, but you can still be killed with it equipped.

Okay, I know it's a taboo to use DBZ characters, simply because of how uber they are. But look at Savage Hulks feats first. First of all, he once punched an asteroid twice the size of planet Earth and destroyed it instantly. That was a punch, not a ki blast, I mean...come on! That, and that quote he says in the comics: "Madder Hulk get, stronger Hulk get!" is true. There is no known limit to his physical strength, as it is ever growing. Also recently, on Planet Hulk, he traveled to the planet's core and held the tectonic plates together with his bare hands, preventing the planet from being destroyed. He also has almost instantaneous healing abilities, as seen when Vector flayed his flesh off completely, and it regenerated in a matter of minutes. Trauma also shot him in half with a special radiation inducing cannon, and he grew new legs...

Goku is faster, smarter (which isn't saying much...) and is a better fighter. Also, he's got his ki techniques. He could blow up the planet...but Hulk doesn't need oxygen to live, as he travels through outerspace on the outside of rockets. I'm guessing if Goku uses instantaneous movement to place him in the sun, then run back to earth, maybe he'd win? If he tries punching him over and over, he's just gonna get stronger and stronger...until he grabs him and bites his head off...

Remember he can sense Spirits, so he will eventually know who the real one is all the time. And how many shadow clones might one swing of Zabimaru take... Perhaps 20 percent or more of em if we were to say there were a Hundred Spread all out(Needs to be a very hard cover for it not to cut through(REmember Zabimaru has cut throungh Tree & Stonewalls)

So if we were to say that Narutos weapons don't use "Raichi" so that Renji wouldn't be able to sense them comming...

Um, since Nightmare with Soul Edge is capable of doing large battlefield destroying explosions, I'm sure that Siegfried with Soul Calibur could. Obviously he doesn't do them in a game fight, because that would be cheap. Kinda cheap like FF7 abilities, eh? Which I why I use their KH versions. They're still powerful, but not in a fanboy/girl godmod way.

Please, put fanboyism aside. Cloud could poison/darkness/summon/limit break Ichigo, but this isn't a FF video game. Cloud's abilities are not instant, and Ichigo would be able to dodge much of it. Cloud can block bullets from 2 opponents. Ichigo can block hundreds of millions of flying razor blades in a few seconds. Cloud would not get the chance to use all his materia and attacks. Ichigo could shunpo and attack Cloud from behind, and there's not much he could do about it. Even hasting Cloud to five times his normal speed wouldn't be nearly as fast as Ichigo.

A serious Ichigo would own Cloud. Cloud would never get his chance to use his attacks.

Well, considering the above posts were meant for your eyes more than anyone elses, I can finaly get serious.

XIII members hp, one Omnislash will do in the place of the backstabbing. If he can power through the almighty Keyblade's attacks, I'm sure he'll swat right through Xigbar's bullets, or Xaldin's lances...or Saix sword(?).

3. I'm aware of Saix mad-dash shockwave stuff...that was my "fanboy nonsense" coming into play. When he ran around shredding up Nobodies and Heartless alike, that was what he used. Also, Sephiroth stabbing through Saix didn't kill him. You might've saw the part in the post where I said he still turns to attack Sephiroth again, right? It's because he wasn't dead. You can still hit Saix during his Berserk mode, whether it hurts or not. The sword in his back didn't finish it. It was when kicked him to the wall, took his sword, and beheaded him.

4.(These aren't in any kind of order...) As far as sending Saix and Xaldin into the platform with him, Why would Xigbar teleport his partners into the path of his bullets? Cops don't shoot at their partners while they're wrestling criminals to the ground. Likwise with his teleporting, I'm sure he'd like to know where he was teleporting to, right? Focusing on sniping off Sephiroth, he wouldn't have the time to make an escape route. But like said earlier, it'd be an Omnislash rather than a simple stab that offs him. It certainly would'nt take more than that.

5. Yeah, he can come back and read my earlier post. But at the time, I couldn't wrap my head around why someone would start name-calling over something as petty as an arena battle, and I was venting. Seriously, the fan part is fine, because I'm an FF7 fan in every sense of the word. But I'm 21 years old, will be 22 in like...3 weeks, and some guy that doesn't even know me, just called me a BOY, and then left. Not because I seriously offended him, but because I like one game (and games characters) better than another.

Every playable character in Final Fantasy history in an all out team-based battle. FF7 vs. FF8! FF9 vs. FF6! FF3 vs...FF3! Whatever you guys can think of. And by playable characters, I mean the original party members (sorry fellow Sephiroth fans, he'll be in the FF villain free-for-all.) In their original Final Fantasy forms, i.e., Vincent would be from FF7, not AC or DOC. Same with Cloud. Each character has his or her full repertoire, whether it be gameplay related or story significant. I was gonna take out summons, but that would instantly eliminate summoners, and I'm trying to keep this fair. Afterall, EVERY Final Fantasy Char fights. This one should be BIG...

When you post in the Anime Arena, videogame HP doesn't come into play. Why? Because it's just stupid. And they wouldn't be killed with one Omni Slash anyway.

Yeah, the purple arrows are deflectable. The white ones are not. Ever try it? It doesn't work out so well.

The lances, sure, maybe. But definately not Saix's sword.

I know it didn't kill him, but it did the others. You'd have to get close to Saix to hit him. Which, incase you haven't noticed, isn't all that easy. And you're also forgetting that all three of these guys can teleport using darkness. Xigbar, unlike the other two, can teleport on his own, which is as fast-if not faster-than Seph's teleporting.

It's strategy.

Xigbar teleports himself, Xaldin, and Seph to a narrow platform. Xaldin uses his dragon's blast. Seph can't teleport out of the way because there is no place to teleport to. The blast is a straight beam, and thus can't be teleported past.

Seph is forced to take the blast head on, and blocks it with his sword. Then, out of nowhere, you hear Xigbar say, "Let's see how you dance."

Seph turns his head to see Xigbar getting ready to fire an onslaught of his already powerful white arrows. Seph is defenseless. But here is how I'm not being a hater. I'll give Seph some credit, although this should be the end.

Seph uses all of his strength to knock back Xaldin's blast, and quickly spins around to deflect the arrows(if he can), warping around in the now clear path to avoid the others.

Here's the difference between the two. Squall has limits, he is a human being who can lose fights sometimes.

I'm not caught up with comics, but going by what I know on the two(which is a lot), I'm going to have to go with...Batman.

Actually, I don't know. Spiderman is stronger, and Bats has experience fighting stronger guys, but they're usually morons. Spidey is a frickin genius.

Intelligence & strategy creation-wise, they're both even.

Strength - Spiderman.

Experience - Batman.

Hand-to-hand combat - Batman. He knows lethal martial arts and whatnot.

Long range combat - Although Bats has all those gadgets, it would take a considerable amount of his strength to break Spidey's webbing. If he get's trapped, then he'd better hope that his hands are near his belt.. >: /

Agility & Speed - even.

Stealth - even.

It basically comes down to experience. Spidey tends to let his emotions get in the way sometimes. Its not easy to get under his skin, but once you do, he'll start being reckless. If Bats can take advantage of that, then he could win.

Spidey has an edge. His spider sense. That kinda tips the battle in his favor. He can sense all of Batman's projectile weapons coming at him, whereas Batman can't sense Spidey.

But as far as not teleporting through a beam...why not? I can understand not dashing through it through super-speed, because you run into it head on. Teleportation is when something fades out of space and reappears in another area, right? He'd dissappear, and reappear behind Xaldin. Or inside the barrier that seperates Sephiroth and Xigbar. When Nightcrawler from X-Men teleports, he goes through walls, force fields, etc. Sephiroth should be able to do the same.

Likewise, you say that Sephiroth can't get behind Xigbar because of the narrow pathway that he stands on. Then how does Saix and Xaldin AND Xaldin's dragon manage to fit on it, but Sephiroth can't?

Hmm, my first reaction would be to say Aizen would win. Mai isn't that powerful, and everyone there has enough speed and power to beat her. If Aizen and Ichigo face off, it would give Itachi enough time to use his tsukuyomi on them both. In addition, his sharingan makes him immune to most mind techniques, so Aizen's hypnosis may not work on him. If Ichigo or Aizen go after him first though, he's not fast enough or strong enough to defeat them. I'd still have to go with Aizen though. He's the most powerful, and Itachi probably wouldn't do his most powerful genjutsu right off the bat.

I'd say Spiderman would win. He's much stronger, and he could kill Batman in one good hit if he wanted to. His spider sense would also allow him to dodge most of Batman's traps. Also, his reflexes are too good. Even with Batman's martial arts experience, he doesn't have the reflexes and speed to beat Spiderman in hand to hand combat. Spiderman has dodged bullets in a room full of machine gun fire. Spiderman's mobility also gives him the edge over Batman. In a straight up fight, Batman would lose.

Saix isn't there. Xigbar can stand in the air, or be outside the barrier. The only ones on the platform, that take up space, are Xaldin & Seph.

Look, basically it comes down to this. Afro can slice missles and bullets in half with ease. Mugen can't. Mugen also mixes break dancing with swordsmanship. That's bad. One slip up, and he's missing a leg or two.

Oh yeah, they retconned spidey's powers last year. Now he has organic webbing like in the movie, poisonous stingers that protrude from his wrists (he hit Morlun with it and he turned to dust...) healing abilities (he sleeps in a web coccoon and after he emerges from it, he's healed. Not instantaneous like Wolverine though. Also, there's Iron Spiderman during the current Civil War arc...man, let's just go with Spidey without the Iron Spider suit or the claws.

I go with Spidey, because while Batman has increased his strength and speed to the pinnacle of human perfection...where as Spiderman has SUPER human strength and speed, several times higher than that of peak human perfection. Once, he held up an 11 (or was it 17?) ton factory roof long enough for the people inside to escape while it fell. Batman is the second (maybe first) in DC when it comes to martial arts, and he's used to dealing with opponents faster and stronger than him.

But not smarter. Add all these together and Spidey takes the win.
