It's one of my favorite animes! It's a 3 DVD set, really good. It's a sort of epic history adventure with violence, lots of violence, swords, Daemons, just about the works. I don't think it's in a movie form yet though.

Shanks wound proves nothing. Hes worried about it for obvious reasons a D. and whitebeard are involved. Hes not worried because a long time ago when he was on a ship with BUGGY propably barely 7 years old an older crewmate wounded him.

Half of those users that you mentioned are not paramecia. A paramecia is a user whos power is constantly active without having to call upon it. Robin has to call upon her arms, Blueno has to open up the door.Those abilities are not constantly there. Technically they are not paramecia but would more easily fall into the logia catagory though they dont really fit there either.

However Dragon is obviouslly a logia user any devil fruit that uses an element has always been a logia, I have no problem assuming that Dragon is too.

And as for him becoming a demon. Certain events must occur first.

- He must not be holding Tetsusaiga, be it broken, knocked away, or w/e.
- His life must be in danger. His life, not anyone else's.

And another thing. Saix's teleportation isn't as useful as Xigbar's. Saix has to summon the darkness, and step into it. Inuyasha can follow him into it if he wants.. And, once in the darkness, he has to have it summoned in the place he wants to teleport. Inuyasha would probably see the dark mist from a distance, and lanch an attack that way.

Its not quiet either. The darkness makes a weird noise, which Inuyasha would pick up should Saix decide to sneak up on him.

Besides, Saix's normal speed is fast enough. Well, in berserk mode anyway..

Vergil's speed is about that of Yorouchi's shunpo speed. He isn't going to be hit by a large energy attack. Which also downs Inuyasha's capability to dodge attacks from Vergil. vergil doesn't need Devil Trigger for Inuyasha his normal abilities are more than enough.

Vergil has Yoruichi's shunpo speed!? If he could move even half as fast as Yoruichi, he could attack Dante from multiple spots at nearly the same time. Instead, his movement (his actual movement, not his sword swinging capability) is usually human-level. He can only seem to manage short bursts of speed for dash attacks, and even then he does not move very far; it wouldn't be enough to dodge wind scar.

Inuyasha has a very high constant speed, and is able to outrange Vergil by jumping (he can jump several hundred feet). He can spam wind scar as much as he wants also. Vergil is a cool character, but he's nowhere near anybody's shunpo speed.

Human level? I didn't know humans could teleport around and such. I think their speed is quite equal, and Vergil seems more agile than Inuyasha anyway. All Inuyasha does is scream the name of his attack and swing his sword around with no technique. Also if Inuyasha jumps in the air all Vergil has to do is use that wind cutting sword attack thing and he will jump right in it and be sliced to pieces. Inuyasha also has to aim and yell the name "Wind Scar" to use it, knowing vergils relfexes and speed he could just move out of the direction of it or even behind Inuyasha even just short bursts or dashs would be enough.

Come on, surely people on here don't freaking Inuyasha can beat Vergil from Devil May Cry series.

In that case...Alpha Ryu (X-ism)would have a harder time hanging with Tekken 1 Heihachi, since he's less experienced, and his only trump card would be the Shinkuu Hadouken. Heihachi would still be strong, I mean he survived being tossed off a cliff...but getting in to finsish things with a few Godfists would be hard, thanks to Hadouken spamming. I'm thinking, If he gets presses the offensive, managing to get past the projectiles before Ryu powers up, then he can end it. Don't see him weathering a Shinkuu Hadouken though.

Let's see. "Ansem" is the most powerful Heartless, but Saix is one of the strongest Org. XIII members. Nobodies are naturally stronger than Heartless, but since "Ansem" is so powerful, that doesn't really apply here...or does it?

Going by what "Ansem" can do during that fight, Saix would win easily. All he's got going for him is that guardian Heartless, and those energy discs. Both of which would be easily dodged by Saix.

I give "Ansem" one berserk run. As in, all Saix would need is to go berserk once to defeat him.

He's faster, stronger, and not to mention invincible during berserk. No way he could lose.

I wouldn't count Ryu out. In the SF Alpha movie, Ryu was capable of holding his own against Akuma. Akuma would probably pwn Heihachi.

Anyway, back to the fight at hand. Ryu is definately faster, and more agile. Would Heihachi be able to handle a faster opponent who can attack from a much larger range than he could?

Ansem still has his guardian with him there. It just disappears when it possesses Sora, or does that move where it goes underground, and shoots up. Its still there though.

Anyway, the match still goes to Saix. He's still fast enough to easily dodge those moves that Sora could dodge.

The only thing is, if "Ansem" was smart, he'd try to trick Saix into thinking that he was Xemnas. This most likely wouldn't work, even if he covered the Heartless logo on his chest. >.>; Saix is just too clever.

Anyway, since I mixed up the fights, I'll change my last post a bit, and say that "Ansem" would last 3 berserk runs, at the most.

Vergil's "teleportation" techniques are game mechanics, seeing as he never uses anything nearly so fast in the cutscenes. I would assume cutscenes take precedence since they depict what actually is supposed to be happening. Most cutscenes depict his speed during fights as around human speed (excluding quick dashes, which do not move that far).

Although Inuyasha has little technique, he has a huge attack that could be spammed over and over. Saying "wind scar" doesn't even take a second, and aiming means simply facing the opponent. This means Vergil has about 1~2 seconds to dodge a "getsuga tenshou" of sorts. Going by the cutscenes, it doesn't look like he can do this, or at least he can not do it for long.

Ok, Im not going to argue anymore ill just finish off with a few statements and then im done.

First of all Ill back up my claim for Dragon. Every elemental user has been a Logia. The elemnt of fire in Ace was a logia. The element of lightning in enel was a logia. The elements or naturally found occurances of darkness, smoke, sand, and ice were all logias. I dont think its farfetched to call that evidence that the element of wind will be a logia. Is it proof, no. Is it a valid arguement, yes.

Ok, so paramecia's are more common than logia's even in spite of the fact that I disagree with some classings, thats fines your right. However I believe the point I was trying to make was that while rare logias are not so rare that it would be impossible to consider blackbeard fighting another. And so the possesion of a logia fruit if used right could indeed be the the only thing needed to defeat him.

Obviouslly we disagree about BlackBeards strength I doubt anything you or I say will change the others mind on this topic so lets drop it. I think hes overrated you think hes a beast.

But once again I dont think that the Shanks arguement holds weight in proving any of BB's strength. Say Luffy becomes pirate king, this whole arguement would be like saying hey see that tiny scar on Luffy I hear he got that from a bandit in his home town he must be strong. Im refering to the bandit in the first chapter. And im not saying he gave Luffy a scar but he easilly could have. The point is that wounding a famous/powerful man when he was young and had little to no fighting experience does not mean you are strong or will be strong. So the Shanks and BB thing holds no water with me.

Finally Ill simply say that I think you along with alot of other One Piece fans underrate Luffy and Zoro and the rest. Obviouslly there not on the four emperors/admirals level. But that doesnt mean they cant cause a humongous amount of destruction. They could definatly break through a town flying at them. I mean good god Luffy ripped the entire mast from the going merry when they had just come into the grand line. XD

Well, Fake Sephiroth would certainly be at a disadvantage (assuming this is the version of Hao after his spirit turns all gold and stuff), but as far as the agility goes, the fastest I saw it move was when it blocked a few sword swipes here and there. Haven't seen him pull off any vanishing dashes or whatnot. Assuming Hao is on the spirit's shoulder like usual, Fake Sephiroth would only need to maneuver close enough for a deciding blow, which will be as difficult as moving around a giant person's back. Not hard at all when you can teleport.

Yeah, as far as Fake Sephiroth not being able to teleport forever, we don't have any canon proof of that (well, since this is Fake Sephiroth, nothing about him is canon so...that's a double-edged sword). Fire beams won't hit him. Punches from giant fists won't hit him. Compressed spirit sword won't hit him. Hao isn't superfast, and doesn't fly, AND doesn't teleport. I'm willing to bet he isn't swordproof either.

Yeah, Fake Sephiroth wins it.

Fake Cloud doesn't have the mobility of Fake Sephiroth, so this fight won't go the way it should. Assuming Fake Cloud is fighting Hao's golden spirit things get even uglier(which isn't needed in this fight anyway, but if we're handicapping, why not go all the way, huh?). Fake Cloud is either burned to ash, stomped to death, or eaten.

The only difference between "Fake Cloud" and "Real Cloud" is a bit of mobility and limit breaks. The only reason "Real Cloud" is so powerful is because people give him extra items (aka materia) to boost his fighting capability ridiculously high. "Real Cloud" shows his true fighting capability in Advent Children.

I also think Hao would be able to defeat Cloud. He has a whole lot of power, and his spirit of fire would give him alot of stamina to beat Cloud (KH or AC).

Sephiroth would lose. The Spirit of Fire is huge and extremely powerful. On top of this, Hao has many lifetimes of experience to aid him in battle. Sephiroth could teleport, but anywhere he'd teleport to would be engulfed in flames. Sephiroth can not teleport fast enough to dodge all of Hao's spirit's attacks. After all, Sora is fast enough to hit him, so a giant fire being could also do so. AC (a.k.a. the true version) Sephiroth would lose even worse than KH Sephiroth. He can't teleport, so he really couldn't even get near Spirit of Fire without being burned.

Kenpachi, using a tiny bit of his reiatsu, cut a 200m or so high building diagnolly in half in an instant. Kenshin has never faced an opponent anywhere near that powerful.

Oh yes. Kenshin is a normal flesh and blood human being. He isnt special. As far as shounen main characters go he is pretty much the weakest.

Most Naruto characters would kick Kenshin's ass and all Naruto characters would get owned by Kenpachi.

There's an unwritten rule here that says you can't use Real Cloud or Real Sephiroth in an arena battle, incase you hadn't noticed. I'm just ablidging.

Also...since when is fire a problem for Fake Sephiroth? Firaga is a waste of MP against him, and the spirit of fire has yet to turn an entire battlefield into flames. I remember in the shaman tournement he looked at a team and set them aflame, but the only area burned was the area they stood upon. When there's no more land to teleport to, why not just stay in the air indefinately? I know, because you can't win without pressing the offensive. Which is why Fake Sephiroth will focuse the assault on a slower Hao.

Don't have an answer to the centuries of experience thing, that's a legitmate testament to his skill. But then, no matter how skilled you are, if you don't have the speed to react, you won't be countering anything. Batman could knock out The Flash in one punch, assuming he could ever touch him.

@ninja: Ok, buddy. Sephiroth isn't all that fast. Yes, he's fast to Sora, but Sora isn't that fast either(unless during action commands, which arguably make him faster than Sephiroth).

All spells are useless against Sephiroth for challenge purposes. And even if Firaga alone didn't work, you're forgetting that Sephiroth is fighting a Fire God here. There's a difference between a lit match and a forest fire.

And how do we know that Sephiroth can teleport forever? You assume that since he's the godly Sephiroth, he can't tire. That isn't exactly canon either. It has not been stated that he can fight forever. No one can.

Hao probably only burned what he had to. You honestly believe that someone as powerful as he is, with a spirit as strong as his, can't level a battlefield if he wanted to?

Stop this "Fake" Sephiroth thing. Sephiroth is Sephiroth. Blizzaga won't work on the Spirit of Fire either. Horo Horo has already tried using ice and it melts before it even reaches him. Also the Spirit of Fire can attack very quickly. In a flashback (The flashback when Hao is born.) the Spirit of Fire does a kind of spinning fire attack that throws fire everywhere. Hao too is not an easy target. Hao does something similar to teleporting. He does this frequently when following Yoh to Patch Village.

Yeah don't underestimate him, he's not that weak. His sword style could take out alot of Naruto characters. The only ones he wouldn't beat would be like Senin and Akatsuki members. Keshin's style is defensive and once he got a taste of how strong Kenpachi is he wouldn't waste time parrying. I'm not saying Kenpachi isn't fast enough to catch Kenshin, just that Kenshin would be doing his best to be evasive. He could possibly kill Kenpachi if he used
1. A real sword.
2. His last technique.
Without a real sword poor Kenshin has no chance in beating Kenpachi.

No FF character with just regular magic and a weapon is going to beat Hao. He just isn't that easy to reach (See Hao vs Sephiroth).

Back on the topic though, since this is in the human world most likely, Zaraki would be restricted in strength somewhat.

Byakuya was fast, even when restricted, but not significantly faster than anything Kenshin characters are capable of.

Seeing as how Kenshin is known for his speed, he'd be able to dodge Zaraki's attacks pretty easily. This doesn't matter though, seeing as how he wouldn't be able to hurt Zaraki, and one hit and he'd be dead. >: /

Kenpachi's reiatsu alone could probably cripple Keshin if he removed his eyepatch. From there he could easily cut Kenshin clean in two. Happy?
However he doesn't remove his eyepatch for just anyone. Keshin would have to kick him around a bit for Kenpachi to decide that he was worthy of facing him without his eyepatch. Hopefully (if Kenshin was smart) he would get a couple good hits before Kenpachi decided to remove his eyepatch and follow up with his last technique to finish the match.

Naruto - Kage Bunshin no jutsu. Kenshin wont know anything. They are all real clones. Oh yeah...KYUUBI =/
Sasuke - Chidori. Owns anything natural like a blade. Plus look at how he jumped up that huge stadium against Gaara. Kenshin has never shown such fast movement.
Sakura - She probably could be beaten
Rock Lee - Absolutly no way Kenshin can match him. Gates and his Lotus thing are far more powerful than anything Kenshin can do.
Tenten - There is a chance she could be beaten.
Neji - Hell no. Kenshin would never be able to penetrate his defence. Plus Neji can make a good 64 strikes in less than a second. Kenshin has never shown anything that fast.
Hinata - Has the speed to keep up with Neji, however she could be beaten (not looking good for the women lol...).
Kiba - Has the Akamaru shape shifting technique. Works like the Kage Bunshin. I dont believe that Kenshin can match two opponents of greater speed than him.
Shino - This guy usues hundreds of insects...Kenshin has never dealt with a divided attack like this, nor could he. He is fast with one strike but cant take all.
Shikamaru - Far too smart. I do say it depends on the battle ground though.
Ino - Probably would be beaten.
Chouji - What he showed against the Sound 4 could take Kenshin. Thats way beyond human power there (and yes Kenshin is only human).
Gaara - Obvious reasons.
Temari - This chick destroyed an entire forest with one swoop. Kenshin is gawn.
Kankuro - Puppets similar to Kage Bunshin. Kenshin would strike the puppert instead of the user and be trapped.

Does that take care of the teenage characters? Because all the others are far stronger.

Wow, Kenshin wouldn't have the strength to even cut Zaraki. Kenshin is just a normal human after all, which would make him about as strong or slightly stronger than Ichigo right after he became a shinigami... who is far from being able to cut Zaraki.

As for Naruto characters, most of the main ones could beat Kenshin. Naruto could kage bunshin and throw all of his cloned kunai at him or just rush Kenshin. The clones aren't just attacks, they can each attack and defend individually. Kenshin doesn't have any superhuman speed to help him defend either. As for Shikamaru, even in a plain area, there will be at least a little shadow to use. For Kenshin to even attack Shikamaru, he'd have to get into range of his shadow, which he has no defense against.

Psh. I was going by what I've seen so far. Which is the eps that were shown on CN, and a few fights in AMVs, and demo clips.

Anyway.

Naruto characters and Kenshin characters fight differently. Ninja run around and whatnot, trying to mislead their enemy before attacking. Most Kenshin characters go for the kill with one swift blow.

Naruto - w/e.

Chouji - And you underestimate Kenshin.

Temari - All he'd have to do is a simple swift attack. He's much faster than people give him credit for. Hence the "god-like speed" the characters are always praising him for..

Kankuro - Kenshin is fast, and has good reflexes. Kankuro would have to use the second he hops out of the bag to attack him with a powerful move.

Anyway, you realize that Kenshin is far older and experienced right? You do know that he used to kill people for a living right? And the fact that he was in a war? These are kids he's fighting. If they were to somehow cross paths in a manga/anime, Kenshin would defeat most of them, craftly and whatnot. He's Kenshin.

I wouldn't give Saix that much credit. If he goes in beserk mode, ansem could wait it out or do his dash move right when Saixs' invincibility ends. Saix would not be able to hit him and he would just be coming out of the berserk run so there would be no room for dodging.

Saix can hit Ansem while he's doing that dash thing. And if not, then he could simply block it. He's powerful enough to halt that attack, which doesn't move with much speed or force.

Ansem can't simply wait out Saix's berserk run, because there isn't enough room to do so. And besides, Saix takes up a lot of space with that attack, what with the energy waves and whatnot.

All in all, Ansem, in that form, simply isn't strong enough to take on Saix.

I do watch that anime. Well, Grand Stream is like the border of Dysis and Anatore, it is where EXILE is located as well as the Guild palace is.

Yep, I've watched the anime not so long back :). It was pretty well done IMO. A decent plot, good character development, good animation and music. I can't really complain much about it. Alex is my favourite character of the series ;).

This is his way of testing his opponent. Not everyone does this though. Basically, he feels that if his opponent isn't strong enough to match his reiatsu, thus cutting him, then he is wasting his time.

I'm not implying that Fake Sephiroth is a god. Were I doing so, I'd state that he'd annihilate the Spirit of Fire along with Hao. Or that if the Spirit of Fire hit him, he'd laugh in his face. I could understand how statements like those would make you think that I was making Fake Sephiroth out to be a god...but considering I said none of that, I'm at a loss as to why you think i'm making him some god-like character.

If he were a god, he wouldn't need to avoid the Spirit of Fire's attacks. And as far as teleporting forever goes, he may not beable to do it forever...or he might. Assuming he was a normal human, yes he'd tire out. But we no better. That is, if Fake Sephiroth is as close to the real thing as we thought. Likewise, Hao teleporting to avoid Fake Sephiroth's attacks makes things harder, and If he can manipulate Spirit of Fire while avoiding Fake Sephiroth, he could win. He'd have to deliver the final blow however, as fire won't do the trick. Yeah, it's from a god. But it's still fire.

BTW, consider HP strength or lifeforce, and MP furyoku. No furyoku means no more Spirit of Fire, right?

Spells don't affect Sephiroth because that would take alot of the challenge out of the fight. Hao commands the SPIRIT of Fire. Just by what it is, it should be obvious that the spirit would be much stronger than any fire spell Sora is capable of, so the Spirit of Fire would be strong enough to pierce any resistance Sephiroth has. If you still claim fire won't do it, Hao could shift the element to something that can hurt him.

The Spirit of Fire doesn't needs exact manipulation by Hao to fight. Otherwise, there would be little point in having shamans fight if they could not use their sprits while fighting. Considering furyoku, no furyoku would stop Hao, but he wouldn't run out of furyoku in a fight. He simply has too much.

This "Fake Sephiroth" business is kinda ridiculous. "Fake Sephiroth" is about equal to "Real Sephiroth" in terms of fighting ability. If the actual Sephiroth has around the power he did in AC (which he does, or Cloud never would've beat him in FFVII), Hao would still be able to win; materia is not actually a part of Sephiroth's ability set.

Shuffle! - It has lots and lots of drama, and also has comedy. It has various twists so it turns out to be a great watch.

Okay, the dragon scale Tetsusaiga has the ability to let Inuyasha see the inner whatchamacallits...can't think of the name (basically what tenketsu are in naruto) and cut them. The tenketsu like points within a demon do basically the same as the tenketsu in naruto, because they are the points in a demon which control youki flow. When he cuts them, one of 2 things happen.

1.The demon dies because their youki is gradually drained.
2.The demon can't fight back with youki attacks because they have no youki left.

The Tetsusaiga then absorbs the youki from the points he destroyed. What he does with it, I don't know. Probably performs a stronger windscar or something.

If Saix was a demon, he'd be in biiiiig trouble. Assuming he can cut him. But that's not the case.

Putting "Fake" in front of Cloud's name is just a (fanboy's) way to say "Yes, Cloud would lose, but I don't really want to admit it so I'll call him 'Fake'". Something that is fake is trying to pass itself off as the genuine article or is trying to replicate the original. KH Cloud does neither. The real Cloud's actual fighting ability is not much higher than it is in KH.

Quality has nothing to do with the authenticity of an object. If I made an mp3 player that resembled the ipod in everyway except having more memory, it would still be a fake.

Time and Death magic is irrelevant. Death magic takes away HP/MP. In a real battle, there is no HP/MP. Time magic? Like that would work anyway. Besides, since when does anyone use magic as in arguement when FF characters are involved? Never. Unless they stick to using only magic. IE, Mages. But that's entirely different.

And FYI. KH Cloud could so take on Ichigo up till he trains with Yoruichi.

As for ending themes my definate fave is number 2. Loved it ever since I saw it, I think it represents the strawhats better than any other them opening or ending.

As for openings number five and number 6 are really close. But number 5 pulls out the victory simply because I love the opening when they are all falling out of the sky. And of course I also love Believe and We Are, 1 and 2, simply because theyre the classics you always think of when remembering the series. Plus in Believe they have techno which = good. Oh, the memories makes me wanna rewatch One Piece for the fourth time.

I also vouch for the GEoM (God Emperor of Mankind) being able to takedown DS. I think he's more than powerful enough to do it. He can fire energy blasts as powerful as supernovas and one of his punches has enough strength to rend a planet apart dozens of times. One of my friends who is a WH40k library said that the Chaos Gods actually feared him. The one issue I can think of is speed though. Exactly how fast is GEoM and how fast can he react?

I guess my top three could be these following:

My first would be probaly Code Geass, Lelouch of the rebellion because it has mecha in it which i really like and then theres revenge in it like say Lelouch wanting to revenge and destroy Britannia. Then theres friendship and jealousy like Lelouch and Suzaku has a really deep bond that keeps there friendship together. The theres jealousy to it where (forgot the name because i havnt seen it for a while) is jealous of karen because she thought that lelouch and karen were dating. The lancelot was also kinda cool. The ability he has is kinda fair because he can control only one person wants and then cant anymore which isnt that strong which make it fair. Wat can i say it has everything that a anime should have that's why this was my first choice.

My second would be Death Note because right in the begining there was already a huge fight going on between Kira and mostly all the detective and police force then that leads to Light trying to find L and ends up finding him but then another fight starts occuring where Light now has to find L's true name. Wat can i say it just has alot to it so yea thats why this is my second choice.

My third choice would be D. Gray-Man because Its really cool. It's filled with alot of action and each character has almost the same fear. The fear of being scared of humans. Never knowing when they will appear and kill you is kinda amazing. N this isnt a anime which can just sense if theres a monster right next to u (unlike Allan's left eye). And also its kinda cool how they all got there own choice of weapon and innocence that can deal with each different akuma. But the part about Earl of the millennium and noah's family is kinda like Inuyasha because the Earl would probaly be like Naruku and Noah's ark could be his family like Earl can make Akuma and so can Naruku then there family part to it are almost teh same so yeah. So in the otherhand this anime is just great that's y its #3 on my list

- The battle of the three brutes. Each one has been called the "strongest" of their respective game.

- Don't come here and post, "Bankai" and then leave. I swear I'll find you and kick your ass. :whatevah:

Anyway. Things to keep in mind:

Fayt:
- Fayt his very nimble and powerful.
- His "Dimension Door" technique allows him to teleport, and deal a paralyzing blow to his enemies. He is protected by a dark red aura when using this, so Ichigo can't sneak up on him.
- He is definately more powerful than Ichigo, seeing as how he can blow up alien spaceships with his energy. (Yes, I know he passed out after using it the first time, but at the end, he can use it whenever..)

Ichigo:
- Sure, he can Shunpo, but Fayt has great reflexes and agility.
- No Bankai or Hollow modes here. He can still Shunpo, use Shikai, and do whatever he does outside of Bankai/Hollow mode.

Why am I limiting Ichigo, you ask? Because he's far too fast in Bankai, especially when Ogichi takes the wheels. That would just ruin the fun of this battle. Unless you believe that Fayt can fight a Bankai Ichigo that is. Which he can't.. He has the power to, but not the speed..

Samanosuke, powerful samurai warrior of the Onimusha series vs Saix of the Organization XIII.

Why I picked these two: They can both "transform" when necessary, and both have similar destructive power...I guess..

Samanosuke:
- He can go into Onimusha mode for short intervals throughout the fight.
- He can use whatever weapon he's used in his past journeys, switching them on the fly if necessary.
- No Ako here to help him, and no demon souls to absorb.

Saix:
- The full moon is out, so Saix can go berserk for short intervals throughout the fight.
- He is definately faster than Samanosuke, and possibly more powerful.
- No summoning of Nobodies/Heartless.

I thought it neccesary to add my opinion to this simply because Im such a big fan. If your such a douchebag that you cant even read this with a open mind then you should know that it basically explains why One Piece is a great manga and skip it. If you are at least open to change or wish to hear my thoughts continue.

1st of all I beleive the only way to truly not like One Piece is to not like manga/anime. This is because the show embodies everything that manga is supposed to be. So if you dont like anime your allowed if you do heres why you should give One Piece another try.

1. Only the Japanese version of One Piece is being talked about here. If you have formed your opinion based on the dubbed(english) version of the show than you are lacking in information. The dub cuts out everything that makes One Piece, One Piece. Violence, Launguage, Guns, Blood, Japanese Kanji, Names, Place, Emotional Death scenes, a characters entire motivation, Cigarettes, Music and more are all cut out of One Piece in the dub. The dub is a terrible show, I agree.

2. The first aspect of One Piece that makes it so great is its characters. All of them have motivation, a past, a dream. Three dimensional characters that you can love and hate. Be sad for and happy for. People who have the attitude Ill do what I want, others who follow the law, Those who search for something, and those who prey on the helpless. All of These are represented No matter what your talking about the most important aspect in any manga are the characters. And One Piece has the best charcters. Luffy will go from a jubilant kid to a man trying to find adventure in a heartbeat. And I think thats something everyone can at least somewhat relate too.

3. The next aspect is the storyline. In Bleach the soul society storyline was the epitome of what weve seen. With Aizen and whatnot it was awesome. However One Piece delivers that kind of intrigueing storyline constantly. From the first episode to the last there are suprises around the corner unexpecrted relations and new and amazing lands. There is always motivation and sometimes you get so swept up in it that you forget about anything else.

4. The next aspect is the fighting. In any shounan manga the fighting is the critical aspect of the entire thing and in anime it is obviouslly important as well. Too avoid spoilers ill only talk about the original five in the crew. Number one of course is Luffy the main character. Hes a rubber man. A human who ate the devil fruit of rubber and now has a rubber like body. He fights by stretching, snapping body parts at people, flying like a rubberband The fight scenes are awesome. By far more unique than any other show. Zoro is a swordsman, boring right, WRONG. He uses three swords, one in his mouth. Nami, yes she is boring right now but I promise you later one she becomes more unique than almost anyone. As for the villians they are also awesome, from Kuro with claw like swords coming from each finger, to Creed with insane armor poisen gas and an exploding spear. All the fight scenes are more intresting and in depth than almost any anime ever made.

5. The last aspect is the drama. Drama!? you say. Yes, drama. One Piece is better than any other when it comes to emotionally moving scenes and experiences. I think the easiest best example of this is One Piece episode 3 in the end when Zoro and Luffy talk to each other about their pasts and motivations it just sweeps you away makes you want to follow their story forever. Namis whole life is one of the best dramas Ive ever seen. Spoilers for those who havent seen the Arlong Arc.-Her foster mother is killed trying to protect her, she is forced to serve under her killer(Arlong) in order to save the village and the people that she loves. Told that if she makes enough money the village will be free she works for 8 years, and then when she is almost done she is betrayed and it is all taken away. The villagers go after Arlong to die for Nami's pride. She breaks down crying stabbing her own shoulder, where the tatoo she was forced by Arlong to get lies. You see Luffy come up and she quietlly asks him to help her. He simply says "Danm Right" Willing to fight to the death simply because they are friends and he wants to help" Now that is drama.


One Piece is the best that there is in all these catagories and in truth these things are what all anime fans are looking for. Sure at first the art seems all little strange but after a few episodes you realize that the art enhances the show instead of hurting it. Give it a chance, watch the first ten-twenty episodes. If after that you still dont like it then you are either very stuborn or very stupid.

BUt anyways it was a good anime it was just missing a few things to me, plus it woulda been nice if the two kids were like 3-5 years older imo. The biggest annoyance at the ending was the fact that the former ***** van pilote and the main character guy never hooked up they kinda just left that floating and it woulda been nice to have a better to have a good love story, they even could have had a episode or two where he had to rescue her. Once Blackbeard gets rid of a big threat to the World Government WHILE being considered for the Shichibukai, it'll make it all the more easy for Blackbeard to be a part of the Shichibukai.

Plot is far above the line of the norm and average. Though it lacks in artistic skill the plot and story development far surpasses others of it's kind. In my opinion One Piece could last for YEARS and still have enough to amaze me every single time.

2. Beck
Possibly the BEST musically themed anime series you'll EVER see. Music is seriously pwn, and you'll never get enough of the music. I'm listening to it as we speak. I've listened to probably 200+ hours of Beck music in this month.

3. Hajime no Ippo
Gets my vote for best sports series ANYDAY. Packed with great action scenes and story development. The artistic level isn't what I'd call good, heck, not even decent, but you wouldn't expect boxers to be hot anyway would you?

I was wondering who you guys think would win, to me it seems that its pretty evenly matched.

Also on a side note the manga was killed prematurely (in my opinion) so it could have gone on to be that Yoh would have gotton more powers. And you guys can use the form that Yoh used in the final episode of the anime.

Most animes that do not come from a manga are animes that are based off of H games. I think D.C. ~Da Capo~ and the second season fall under "based off of H game". If you look at reviews and anime information sites you'll find out that a lot of anime are based off of H games.

Zariki will pwn kenshin ass any day. Kenshin's reversed sword probably wont even do crap to Zaraki considering the fact that Ichigo's soul slayer couldn't really do much to him until the old man Zangetsu came out and told him something. And plus when Zaraki unleash the reiatsu that is in his eye patch he will kill Kenshin easily. Even when kenshin is in berseck mode (or watever its called) he still wouldn't be able to do much

Your right it's not like he hid himself and snuck into SS gathering and deleting information to help the Bounts, or else they couldn't have done this because prior to his research they had no way of entering Soul Society.
