Sephiroth is fast and can fly, wow, Kenpachi can shunpo and has a lethal Reietsu. they're equal in sword size. Beleive it or not Kenpachi is huge guy and so is his zanpactou. So Sephiroth's sword length is of little importance here. Remember Kenpachi will purposely injure himself if he has to in order to win.

I have just finished watching the 25th episode of a very captivating series.
Up until the very last second I was wishing that something would suddenly happen to bring it to a better close.
I even watched the first episode over in hopes of better understanding.
Was that monster he killed in the first episode during some kind of flashback Griffith?? I believe it was. If so how does the story end? Immediately after he kills him it skips back to when he was young before it had all happened. Leaving me just as confused as before I watched it over.

Hopefully someone who has read the manga can help me out.
I honestly just want to know the ending this is probably the one thread where someone actually wants you to spoil it for them.:lol

The problem is that the anime stops less than half way through the manga.

The manga goes the same way that the anime does. The anime stops at around volume 12 of the manga, even though there are about 30 volumes out.
I just started reading the manga, but this is what i know: the guy he kills in the first episode isn't Griffith. He is just one of the apostles of the God's Hands or whatever they are called. In the end of the anime, Griffith became one of them. Guts is hunting down these monsters hoping to one day get revenge on Griffith. No one knows the real ending because i think that the manga is still going.


I suggest you raed the manga from the beginning.It's even better than the anime and has a lot of extra stuff and stories.

Kenpachi is large, but his striking range is not near Sephiroth's. Kenpachi is only 6 inches taller than Sephiroth. Zaraki's sword is normal length for someone of his height. Sephiroth's sword is at least 6 feet long. Also, I don't believe Zaraki ever uses shunpo.

Without taking sword size into account, look at the other factors of their swords:

Sephiroth has the Masamune, which is supposed to be a legendary sword. Whether that means it cuts through anything, or that it's unbreakable...I dunno.

Zaraki's Zanpaktou is a his strength given physical form, meaning once the eyepatch comes off, the sword will become stronger and more lethal.

If Zaraki fights seriously, he can take the win...maybe. If he allows Sephiroth to cut him however, the fight is over. See, whether he likes being cut or not doesn't explain how he'd be able to stand up to a Masamune through the forehead. What I'm saying is, a lethal blow can be delivered in one strike. If Zaraki allows a strike in, best believe Sephiroth will make it a lethal one.

AHEM! Alright, here's the breakdown. A character who was never in the anime breaks in on the eclipse and starts wrecking shit. Like seriously. This dude is the epitome of awesome that is Skull Knight. He comes in, starts shit up with Void, who repels his attack. So he grabs Guts and Casca and is like "**** this shit, you guys are cheaters" and leaves.


In all seriousness, just read the manga from the beginning, dude. A lot of shit is different. Including the fact they excluded an apostle from the anime during Griffith's rescue. (Remember that knight captain who was mocking the hawks and showed Griffith's damaged body to them? he was a replacement for this bigass eyeball shoulder having ape man demon that gets totally fucked up.)

Plus the first three volumes take place after the eclipse and all. setting the scene.

Drawbacks to the manga? Miura takes a lot of fucking breaks. I mean a lot. This fool took 2 years or so to get everyone on a godamned boat to Elfhelm. (lots of fights on the way of course, but still)

If you're someone who's squeamish, prepare to be horrified. Rape happens. A lot. There is LOTS of violence. Disemboweling. Human consumption. Spanish Inquisition style religious torture of ALL KINDS shown in one arc. But considering you watched the anime to the end, you probably aren't the squeamish type.

EDIT: Oh yeah, the positive stuff totally outweighs the drawbacks. Download/buy it, sit your ass down and get ready to be rocked off your fucking chair.

I'll tell you this much, the anime was just a watered down backstory. If you enjoyed the anime series I highly recommended reading the manga, high quality art, epic story full of emotion, and some nice action and stuff on the side too.

Bleach started out very fresh. However as time went on it became very generic. Kubo didn't really go out of his way to make it creative, he just threw in all these concepts and such (Soul Society Royalty, super advanced Shinigami ranks and divisions, Komamura being a GIANT FUCKING WOLF) and barely goes over them. He introduces clusterfucks of characters at one time, when the only one that matters is Ichigo, and his current enemy of the arc.
In fact, this current arc in the manga (and the one the anime is now starting on) is becoming a copy & paste job of the soul society arc (spoilers, possibly, but honestly, you had to have seen it coming). Everyone is getting powerups handed to them in hopes of competing with new foes. Sure, it's shounen, but the way Kubo pulls it off is so...shitty.
I'm actually very saddened by this. Makes me wish Zombie Powder didn't get scrapped, cause it was better than Bleach is now...I could go more in depth but it'd involve spoilers. Many of them.

Comparing it to one piece, theres no use in that one piece as far as i've seen was just a load of nonsense.

lol i would have to agree with you that out of both of them i would pretty much say that Cloud would win. If they fought with there ultimate moves, lionheart and Omnislash, it would probably be a tie because they both look equal. Then if it's a battle between summons then Cloud would overwhelm Squall because in FF8 theres not that much GF even though compare to FF7 summoning. And even if all the summoning in FF8 combine it still wouldn't be enough for KOTRT (knight of the round table) or maybe if they were if you add another summoning with KOTRT then it would beat Squall kinda easily. But anyway theres still a lot of chances that Squall could also win against Cloud easily and then theres the opposite.

lionheart can do a lot more damage than omnislash if you get your junctions right, lionheart itself can do around 180000 alone, and then you add renzokunen which can do 9999 with each hit if you dont miss. damage wise, one move is not better than the other. They're both pretty rigged characters nevertheless, and I really dont see one winning definitively over the other.

this match is pretty even however, it depends on who has more willpower to win. sure squall has his GFs and Cloud has Materia and of course their limit breaks but it all depends on willpower. also factor in what blade(s) they are using. if cloud uses his advent chirldren blade then he has a slight advantage as he has more blades to use(many spares). in short it all depends on who wants it more, Cloud or Squall.

Most of Batman's gadgets won't work against Spiderman since they are intended for average thugs. Outside of using some type of sleeping gas or a weapon specifically made for Spiderman, Batman doesn't have countless ways to Spiderman. If Batman is caught in a web, there is a good chance he wouldn't be able to get out before Spidey attacks him.

Note that Batman rarely wins direct fights against significant opponents the first time around. Usually, he needs extra time outside of battle to study and figure out specific tactics to use.

Bleach characters have ridiculous endurance. There have been several situations in which Ichigo should've died, but didn't. Then again, he's the main character, so he can't die... Even if he's been practically sliced in half horizontally. :whatevah:

Anywho. If Air Raid doesn't do it, Ethereal Blast would, if it could hit him that is. Fayt has a lot of close-range moves that could catch even the fastest opponents; side-kick, air raid, that shield tackle move thing...

as for real, practical combat, both swords are too wide and look to heavy to be of any use. However, both characters have some attributes to increase their strength (materia/junctioning), so the practicality of their swords shouldnt be looked at too hard, IMO

It be close and a tough fight. i dont think they bring the summons/gfs beacuase that be a pretty cheap and easy fight and whip them both out. but they'd use magic and things along with their combat ablities. Sure cloud may have not recived any kind of speical training like Squall. But Cloud took on Shinra, Sepherioth, and Jenova and what ever random monsters roamed around the planet. Squall took down a rival group and a witch from the future. It be close but cloud would win for sure.

Cloud's got the win. We've seen the amount of damage that Cloud can take (impaled by Sephiroth, but still manages to fight back and throw Sephiroth off that corridor in their first fight). Squall was hit by an icecicle in the shoulder, and he was spent.

To Squall's merit, Lionheart hits like...4 or 5 more times than Omnislash, so he'd come out ontop in a Bleach-style final attack clash. Then again, Finishing Touch instantly kills some enemies, so If Cloud pulls it off prior, then it's a good chance the fight is over.

Though I hate to admit it...Naruto's got this one. Rather easily I might add. Granted, I've seen alot more Naruto than Airbender, but I don't ever remember Aang moving at Kyuubi speed, or even generic anime ninja speed. I haven't seen him heal any wounds practically instantaneously either. Also, bunshin shouldn't be considered outside interference, so not only is he mismatched, but outnumbered aswell. Saix wins. Simply too fast. Power counts for little when you can't hit your opponent. Even in Onimusha mode, he'd run out of juice before connecting with any blows. While spidey is affected by sleeping gas, it's been years since anyone has effectively hit him with any kind of gaseous projectile, as he's normally sensed it before it has launched from the enemie's hand. Whenever Green Goblin tosses exploding pumpkins, spidey senses them beforehand and just webs them to greeny's hand, blowing him away with his own gadget. Same with Daredevil's grapling hooks, or Taskmaster's bolos.

I'm guessing Aang would win due to Avatar state. Naruto is a close range fighter who mainly overpowers using rasengan or kage bunshin. Aang could avoid both of these by flying while in Avatar state, and he also has long range attacks due to the element powers. He's capable of taking down fleets of battle ships full of warriors.

Cloud would win. It be close and a tough fight. i dont think they bring the summons/gfs beacuase that be a pretty cheap and easy fight and whip them both out. but they'd use magic and things along with their combat ablities. Sure cloud may have not recived any kind of speical training like Squall. But Cloud took on Shinra, Sepherioth, and Jenova and what ever random monsters roamed around the planet. Squall took down a rival group and a witch from the future. It be close but cloud would win for sure.

"a witch from the future" is a bit conservative....she was a sorceress with the power to compress time AND she was junctioned with the most powerful GF to exist in that universe. plus she controlled an army of bosses that had the power to seal away all your powers.

and yes, they would bring GFs. OP said there were no restriction, so there are no restrictions.

Cloud's got the win. We've seen the amount of damage that Cloud can take (impaled by Sephiroth, but still manages to fight back and throw Sephiroth off that corridor in their first fight). Squall was hit by an icecicle in the shoulder, and he was spent.

before that battle, without any rest, he navigated the tomb of the unknown king, tore through countless galbadian soldiers to get to the float, fought off seifer, and beat edea into submission and forced her to use her limit break. And, if you missed it, that "icicle" was massive, a lot bigger than masamume.

there is no clear cut winner in this fight. whoever got lucky would win. that's it.

- Most of Naruto's tactics are useless here. Aang can do a move similar to Neji's trigram thing, except he would use nothing but wind. He can do this effortlessly, and continuously.

- None of Naruto's "ninja weapons"(kunai, shuriken, etc..) would work, since they'd be deflected by wind attacks.

- Wind > Bunshin. As stated earlier, he can simply blow them all away.

- Aang doesn't need speed. Although he is faster than people realize. He is a master air bender, and uses air to make him faster. He can run down walls, and run so fast on land that he leaves a trail of dust. He's also very quick on his feet. However, he isn't that fast when dodging, only running.

- Avatar State > Kyuubi. Naruto can control his, but Aang would go into Avatar State once his life is in danger. Its automatic. He has no control over it, so even though he fears it, he won't be able to avoid going into it. He'd be helped by Avatar State whether he liked it or not. >.>

And I haven't even gotten into Water, Earth, and Fire bending yet. -_-

I forgot most of his other weapons, but yeah, he'd have his work cut out for him. Saix would probably find him weak, and probably wouldn't go berserk mode until Samanonsuke does something to show his prowess..

squall is not a normal human being. Junctioning GFs gives humans superhuman powers at the cost of their long term memory.

In Avatar state, Aang gets the powers of all of his predecessors. This means he has the powers of hundreds of the most powerful warriors to exist in his world. No matter how many of the tails Naruto can release (up to 4 at least), he still can't fly and still has no decent range attacks. Aang can launch "B or A rank" techniques against Naruto without fear of much retaliation.

Hm. I don't know. Axel is far more "intense" than Demyx, but Demyx has cheaper moves...

With this kind of match-up, most of their attacks would be useless. Its not a simple "water > fire" type thing. They are so even that their attacks would cancel out.

Elements aside(since they would probably cancel out), Axel uses twin chakrams, and Demyx uses...I forgot the name of the instrument. It isn't a guitar though, but its similar. Anyway, chakram > any instrument.

So my vote goes to Axel, since their elemental attacks would cancel out, they would have to fight with their weapons. Axel has superior weapons, and is a more fierce fighter than Demyx.

Obviously Zaraki would dodge the instant kill moves. He's not a dumbass, he's a berserker. There's a difference. When he fought Ichigo, he dodged a few of his moves while he was berserk.

And fyi, it was a draw. Sure, Ichigo broke his sword, which usually means that you've defeated your opponent, but Zaraki broke his too, right? I say its a draw. >.>;

When has Seph ever fought someone like Zaraki before? He would probably think that impaling him would be an instant kill, but he'd be in a for a surprise if he did.

Let's say Sephiroth stabs him, impaling him. Zaraki would just grab the sword, and pull himself onto it more to get to Sephiroth. Seph would either have to let go of the sword, or pull with all his might to slice Zaraki's hand in half.

Zaraki has the element of surprise here, and you guys are giving Sephiroth way too much credit. He isn't fighting inhanced humans or Keyblade masters anymore. This is an upper-mid captain. Seph isn't in Kansas anymore. Welcome to Bleach.

Demyx uses a sitar and the water element. with that he is able to create water clones and create large damaging bubbles and geysers in rapid succession. is somewhat of a combo freak. not a series fight but strong non the less

Axel uses his two chakram along with the element fire. is able to create walls of fire enchance the attack for of his chakrams with fire, throw them at his enemies for long ranged attacks and is also able to alter the battle field to gain an advantage of his enemies. alos is able ot warp throw fire and attack from any side if his enemies are incased in his inferno field. powerful and is a series fighter

Aang is not the type of person to just go to the avatar state. Do you know why he never fire bends? He used his power and it got out of hand and only saw the what it could do and saw his best friends in tears. This buys naruto enough time to bring him down.

As I said already, he does not just choose not to go into avatar state. If he is in danger of dying, he will go into it automatically. The story of the avatar probably has not been changed, seeing as the avatar reappears every so often thus unproving any any changes to the story. So far, everything about the avatar has been true, and the power Aang shows would confirm this. Also, I'm pretty sure Aang can fly while in avatar state.

The "Aang is too nice" argument shouldn't be used because it does not show his fighting capability. You could similarly say Goku couldn't beat Naruto because he's too nice to kill him, but we know who would win in a fight. To win, a fight doesn't necessarily need to end in death. When Aang goes into Avatar state, he isn't himself anymore and is willing to use more forceful tactics until one of his friends (who aren't included in this fight) snap him out of it.

Besides, wind, water, and earth are all elements in Naruto universe that can be used to create deadly jutsu, and there is no reason why Aang couldn't just manipulate these elements to recreate most jutsu. Since he can use 2 elements at the same time, he can even create more specialized "jutsu".

And the funny thing is. This fight is moving towards an easy win for Aang. Aang's basic bending techniques are on par with Kage techniques. Like the 2nd Hokage's move that makes a tidal wave or w/e. Aang can do that in his sleep.

The reason why he's "stronger" is because you fight him later. The challenge level has to increase. Besides; even though their ranks have nothing to do with strength, Axel is one up the ladder than Demyx. Yeah, it goes by the order they joined, but Axel was probably a Nobody longer, and has had more time to try out his powers.

How did they get their powers anyway? Did they have them prier to becoming Nobodies? Or is it an effect of becoming one? Or did Xemnas give them the powers? *shrugs*

- Causing a stable volcano to erupt, and destroy an island.

I like things that have ranks and all. Plus this anime has a lot of different powers and skills to look at makes it even more surprising. Characters are consistent and never changing (I said this because some anime's are saying this at first then after that story ends a different oen is being done) So I think my first vote would go to bleach...

2. Samurai X

I really dont know if this is an anime but hey I would put it on my list.. Samurai X is cool has a great story line. Excellent mixing of action, comedy, suspense, and a little bit of drama. The story is consistent and concise never detering from the original motive of the character. But the only flaw was after the Shishio saga it all fell down..

3. One piece

Actually I was thinking about Naruto but since the story is off line... too many fillers... you would just get lost in all of the episodes if you dont keep up with it. So my last vote goes to one piece. Same reason with Samurai X. It has a great mixing of different emotions as well as a great story.

depends on equipment for Fayt. if he is using the boots of prowlness (fully refined) then ichigo couldn't harm him. using the divine avenger or his ultimate blade(fully refined) and a few other enchancements than Fayt is stronger but even without it Dimension door would deal considerable damage since it hurts both body and spirit but as an overkill if Ichigo is caught in Ethereal Blast its over. unless ichico is fast enough to stop the techs from coming to pass he won't win. even at full power. you may also consider the other Fayt used in that one Secret area after you locate it and solve the puzzles as that Fayt applies as well.(the programed one that fights you with another programed verison of a character)

This is a battle I wouldn't have expected. They seem pretty even to me. If I had to pick one though, I would say Hotstreak. Although he isn't that powerful, he's able to use his abilities constantly (long fire blasts w/o stopping). Zuko's fire powers seem to be tied to his martial arts attacks, and his flames will fade at the end of every punch and kick.

im happy with bleach, but what im really disappointed on is the main character. im just sick of 15 year olds trying to save the world which is in every anime. his also bloody boring.
what even pisses me off, is when he obtain bankai, he GOT NOTHING, no new skills and techniques during his shikai stage. its like screw learning moves BAM i just upgrade my power and slash and dice. they should have picked a better protangist, someone that can actually use skills. kubo could have chose a character that knows demon arts, and we see fights where different types of magic will be used at certain situtation. e.g FMA.

That's basically the jist of it. It was fine for Ichigo vs Renji. That was a dramatic fight. For Ichigo vs Zaraki? Eh, ok it was acceptable. But in that fight I was more excited about Zaraki's power than Ichigo's. And from then on, it just got...repetitive.

And then we have support characters. Ganju fought Yumichika, then gets battered by Byakuya. Ishida blows his powers to "kill" Mayuri and he doesn't even kill him off. Chad gets fucking OBLITERATED by Shunsui. The dramatic flashback and shit was wasted the moment every single one of Chad's attacks whiffed and he fell in one hit. Renji starts his dramatic stand against Byakuya. Just to lose again. And keep losing. And let's not forget that Orihime is basically worthless as a fighter, as Tsubaki can't do jack piss but kill off a low grade hollow.

All in all, I'm beginning to get VERY disappointed with Bleach. It should have ended after the soul society arc. Aizen should've appeared, and Ichigo along with the Shinigami should've done some epic stand off. Cause honestly. If they're all hypnotized now, waiting a while and giving Aizen time to make a fucking army of hybrids isn't gonna get them un-hypnotized any quicker. Anyone wanna point out to me when Aizen performed his Shi Kai infront of Ichigo? I don't particularly remember him ever doing the motions to unseal it.

And either way, it always rests on Ichigo's shoulders. The other characters are practically nothing more than canon fodder time wasters.

All in all, Bleach is a repetitive story that is not so cleverly pulled off. A copypasta is fine too.

Kurama, the guy who co-ran that lab where Lucy was held, attempted to capture Lucy when she was a young child. However, Lucy hid with another girl who turned out to be her friend. The soldiers under his command shot her [human] friend, mistaking her for another diclonius. After Lucy surrendered, she swore to him that once she escape, she will spare him but she will kill everyone who is related, acquainted, or close to him.

I always thought Gantz was pretty violent. Didn't have as much blood as Elfen Lied but at least the mangaka took the time to draw what the body parts looked like exploding

When these two reach there max, they will die. Its a fact, most likey when this battle is at its climax. The kyuubi will be freeded and the 9 tails is able to flaten high mountains and cause tsunamis with one tail.

This is how naruto wins, Aang does not have any friends with him in this battle, mentioned on the first post. Aang did not master the avatar state and the only way he can contorl it is if hes firends are there. Naruto can control hes tail until 3rd

I think that Heero would win. But only if he was in a gundam. If he wasn't Renji would win with like 1 punch. But if Heero was on a gundam then Heero would win. The reason why i think Heero would win is because all he has to do is stay away from Renji's reach then keep firing him. In the end if Heero keeps doing this then he would easily win. I would think Heero would win in his gundam (Wing Zero or better). His beam gun is capable of delivering captain level blasts, and it is capable of delivering extremely powerful blows with his beam sword. His gundam is also very maneuverable and can outmaneuver Renji long enough to deliver a devastaing blast.
