Cloud would not have enough time to even use 1 materia. Cloud would have no idea that bankai Ichigo is so fast and strong. By the time he lifts his sword to prepare a swing, Ichigo would have already cut him in half from behind. Can people honestly say Cloud can keep up or defend against bankai Ichigo's speed? Even if he miraculously pulled off a slow spell, Ichigo would still be much too fast for Cloud to fight against.

Here's a scenario...

1) Ichigo shunpos behind Cloud
2) Cloud realizes that Ichigo has somehow disappeared
3) Ichigo attacks Cloud from behind- 100% direct hit; fight over

That's the speed difference between them. Cloud does not have the speed to even react to an opponent using shunpo. He couldn't even react to Sephiroth who was flying at him in a straightforward obvious way... how will he beat an opponent who's 10x faster. Cloud stands no chance unless Ichigo purposely lets Cloud attack/use spells on him... non-fanboys would realize this.

I would try not to use it whimsically or when I am angry - 'cause I will definitely regret it later. I would probably use it to kill criminals once in while and with different deaths so it wouldnt't raise suspicion. But who knows? Unless you really have the Death Note, you can never really predict your behaviour. Interestingly - if you can control a persons actions before they die you can use the death note to become rich XD.

Lets see. I love when fan boys can not get over a character. I hate seeing dumb threads that point a one normal character, with nothing really special, moves not much faster then a human, and even there special speed is only about double that.

I would say when ichigo first got his powers cloud could survive. Both moved only a bit faster then human speed(actually, some instances ichigo moved far beyond that of human speed) then when he got his shikai he then again increased his power, and speed 10 fold. While cloud, who was always human, did improve some.

Bankai ichigo would cursh cloud with simply retsu, bringing cloud to his knees. I'm not a fanboy but seriously, common sense here.
It's like saying, naruto vs goku. The fanboys would come in and make up reasons for why naruto would win. Even though he does move fast it is only on the level of goku maybe at the start of DBZ, even the fox doesn't improve him enough to surpace goku around vegeta stage.
Puting a character agaisnt another character that moves hundreds of times faster, and hundreds of times more power and trying to make up dumb little reasons on why he would win does not make you right.
Btw, I hate DBZ, I use it as an example though because I always see (this character vs goku) threads on other forums. Even though I hate dbz.

*Moves somewhat faster then a human, with haste moves a lot faster.
*Fights are not slowed down, even for the movie
*Does not mention anything about using power to temper his skin, or that his skin is strong.
*Somewhat strong attacks
*I guess you could include dumb items, and limitbreaks but it does not matter he still is only moving at a fraction of ichigos speed

So who wins?
Ichigo by 130TimesMore, based on anime, and 400TimesMore, based on manga.

A good plot line with twist here and there.
The characters wil have aspects that people will love and parts that people would hate, so that they seem more human.
Badass Weapons.
Badass Fight scenes using those weapons.
The ability to have battles without sacrificing character development.
People who change clothes. (For some reason when they stay in the same thing w/o any reason it bugs me. You live in the city and wear the same frikin' thing everyday? I understand when it makes sense. Vash didn't run around with clothes)
No Fillers...fillers seem to always end up bad.

Wow First of all on 1 I said his bankai would boost him up giving him those stats why don't you read like I said before. In Advent children i'm pretty sure they used materia there so it's safe to assume that Cloud can use them too proves you wrong. On equal battle grounds yes I forgot that Ichigo's reistu alone without bankai would bring Cloud to his doom so really this fight isn't fair to start with so the victory does go to Ichigo. But on Cloud's terms it Cloud ftw, in any FF game he would prob wipe the floor with Ichigo.

Okay allow me to explain somethings on the onthe characters. Fume is the opposite of Kamui in X, basically a mortal god. Sabre is a Teknoman whom is equipped and fused with alien technology and has virtually impenetratable armour and is is armed with a dual bladed sword, blast cannons and superhuman strength. D is a vampire thus he has most of their abilities as one. Zodd is an immortal being whom will refuse to stay dead. Ichigo can reach bankai and (if need be) use his hollow transformation into Ogihci. Himura kenshin has god like speed and is a master swordsman of the Hiten Mitsurugi style (an ultra-sonic sword style). Itachi shown great power when he destroyed his clan so I'm assuming he has hidden potentials and secret jutsus like the red moon jutsu. Goku isn't as strong and high and mighty now especially now you know he's facing the like's of dieties and awesome abilities.

Besides Goku isn't like Kenpachi where he's body is nearly impenetrable.

Hey,

I'm making a 2D One Piece game (for the pc)
You can choose to play as a Marine or a Pirate.
As a Pirate, you'll fight with other pirates for treasures, roam around the sea and all the other pirate stuff =P
As a Marine, your mission is to take out all who are marked at the wanted list, if you succeed, you'll get payed big time.
So pirates should be at the lookout for Marine ships and have their cannons loaded for when battle emerges.
The more notorious you are as a Pirate, the higher the bounty on your head will be.

As the title says, the game will be a One Piece MMORPG.
Most of the graphics have been ripped from Shonen Jump's One Piece (For the GBA) and the other graphics have been made by Pyromonki. (credit goes out to him)

The chakra of the tailed beasts far exceeds the power of anyone's reiatsu in Bleach. Kubo's series is more powerful on the human level though. Shunpo is a pretty insane ability in terms of speed that just someone with above average reiatsu can use. On another note, Kyuubi would just flat out annihilate anyone from what I've seen. I'd also wager to say that the eight and seven tails could do the same once they're revealed.

lmao? Sephy can do all the god modding he wants to. Kid Buu is between SSJ3-SSJ4 in terms of power. Blowing up planets with little or no effort at all is quite the feat.

Four Tails Naruto is far more powerful than Hollow Ichigo. You can clearly see this if you compare the amount of destruction each one causes. Shit, he can make a crater the size of a football stadium just by stamping down with both of his arms. The issue is speed. I don't think he has the reaction time to catch Shirosaki directly. He would need to catch him in a wide area attack with lots of splash damage.

Base Naruto vs base Ichigo is one sided slaughter though. The only way it'd be a fight is if they both start off in their "possessed" forms. It seems as though people really don't understand how powerful the tailed beasts are. I even recall someone saying that Kyuubi is as powerful as a Menos Grande. Gillian are trash. The only thing they have going for them is Cero and it's not even that powerful. Nine tails eviscerates mountains and causes tsunamis just by swinging ONE of his tails. The power required to do that is multi-megaton level. Oh well, I just thought I'd rant a little....

*sighs* Ok, I'll toss out a random idea from a minor plot thingy I came up with...approximately...3 seconds ago.

The [insert name here] Academy, on the outside, appears to be an average school. However, if one were to take a deeper look at it, they would find that this is not the case at all. Every year, the Seniors are put through a grueling test of brains and brawn. They are forced to go through rigorous(sp?) tests which challenge both the mind and body.

No one knows why they are forced to go through these ordeals, but rumors have it that the highest scoring Seniors are "chosen" to become...well...no one knows what. And few dare to spread rumors, for the faculty punish the kids that do.

[insert name here], a Junior of [insert name here] academy had two older brothers - both of them Seniors. One of them passed the test, and the other failed. The brother that passed the test was never heard from again. Not even a letter was given to his family. The failing brother was mentally and physically drained from the test.

The Junior brother, along with his friends, try to get to the bottom of what's been going on. His older brother seems to have been traumatized by the tests, and is of no help to them. All he does is speak in riddles, which he never did before the tests. Some say that this is because his mind was completely fried due to the ordeals. Others say that he is doing so to aid his younger brothers without getting in trouble.

Potential reasons for the Trials:
- The passing students are thrown into a war with students from other schools.
- The passing students are used in experiments.
- The passing students are being fed to some random creature.

This anime would be more about solving puzzles and mysteries, gaining clues to get to the bottom of the Trials. Not much action, and when they do fight, it'll be pretty down to earth. No explosions and whatnot.

Once again, I just threw this out in like...3 seconds. Typing as I was thinking about it in fact.

Perhaps you can help me? Most, if not all of you, seem to have a lot of anime culture behind your belt, which I sorta lack. I remember seeing an episode of an anime a while back, but never knew what the name was, and it's nagging me.

Let me recap what I can remember.


In the part I saw, it was night. There was sorcery involved, and it was all very serious. This girl, with long hair (perhaps light brown, fuzzy memory) had magic powers and battled a creature. Because it was so powerful, she had to merge with someone, and came out somewhat half angel and half demon.

That's pretty much all I recall. It seemed to have serious undertones, and lacked the humor other series have somewhat. Anybody has a guess as to what anime series it could be?

*sighs* Ok, I'll toss out a random idea from a minor plot thingy I came up with...approximately...3 seconds ago.
The [insert name here] Academy, on the outside, appears to be an average school. However, if one were to take a deeper look at it, they would find that this is not the case at all. Every year, the Seniors are put through a grueling test of brains and brawn. They are forced to go through rigorous(sp?) tests which challenge both the mind and body.
No one knows why they are forced to go through these ordeals, but rumors have it that the highest scoring Seniors are "chosen" to become...well...no one knows what. And few dare to spread rumors, for the faculty punish the kids that do.
[insert name here], a Junior of [insert name here] academy had two older brothers - both of them Seniors. One of them passed the test, and the other failed. The brother that passed the test was never heard from again. Not even a letter was given to his family. The failing brother was mentally and physically drained from the test.
The Junior brother, along with his friends, try to get to the bottom of what's been going on. His older brother seems to have been traumatized by the tests, and is of no help to them. All he does is speak in riddles, which he never did before the tests. Some say that this is because his mind was completely fried due to the ordeals. Others say that he is doing so to aid his younger brothers without getting in trouble.
Potential reasons for the Trials:
- The passing students are thrown into a war with students from other schools.
- The passing students are used in experiments.
- The passing students are being fed to some random creature.
This anime would be more about solving puzzles and mysteries, gaining clues to get to the bottom of the Trials. Not much action, and when they do fight, it'll be pretty down to earth. No explosions and whatnot.
Once again, I just threw this out in like...3 seconds. Typing as I was thinking about it in fact.

Well another of those award-deserving wonders for me would be the fabric composed story of Texhnolyze. Now to no offense but this story is of an undergroud definition(even the wiki article states intense interpretation) follows the run-down metaphors of a broken society, exquisite animation, well woven dialogue, and just that good ol' reflection of modern lifestyle one can relate too.

They are indeed different, and have different properties.

Reiatsu is spirit energy, used by spirits. Chakra is energy used by the living. Think of it as...energy from within, but it isn't limited to spirits.

Chi is hard to catergorize. It is a little bit of everything. Same goes for the unmentioned "Ki".

They all have different properties though. Reiatsu, being known to force people to their knees. Chakra being able to allow the user to climb walls, jump high, etc. And Chi, allowing flight and whatnot.

These could all also be because of their respective shows though.

In short, it depends on the show and user. They are essentially the same, but are used by different beings for different things..

They are all pretty much the same thing. It just depends on what show you are watching that determines what name it is. If you want to argue specifics, "reiatsu" is for spirit beings and "chakra/ki/chi" is for living beings. When it comes down to it, they are essentially a *magic* that allows the people to do superhuman feats.

As for ki/chi being real, that's debatable. There has never been any real proof for chi existing. Chakra is just another name for chi, used for Naruto-world.

He has ssj3 lvl ki attacks, can destroy planets in mere moments, he can regenerate from dust(as seen as super buu vs gotenks), and absorbtion.
sephiroth
a super-powerful-jenova-cell-enhanced-super-soldier with a giant sword(masamune)

Buu would win with ease. Without ki attacks sephiroth doesn't stand a chance. Chop buu up so what. he'll regenerate. even if they were evenly matched a well placed ball of blob and absorb him and its over. Seriously if it took the largest spirit bomb ever to beat buu what can sephiroth possibly do?

Cloud could dispel his bankai and boom ichigo loses, since he can't do any of the spells since he is not from FF and he can't use any kidou since he didn't bother to learn it. Ichigo sucks out of bleach, in bleach he is a decent main character.

I haven't seen Gantz so can't comment on the violence in it but for me Elfen Lied was the bloodiest anime I have seen so far, although some parts of Berserk were pretty gory (specially the last sequence). The best part about Elfen Lied is that it has a really good story to support the series and its not dragged out just for the sake of it - like a lot of animes out there.

GT was a waste of time. I used to love DBZ, and when I read about SSJ4s some 5 or 6 years ago, I was ll like, "OMFG! NO WAI!"

Then, the years went by, and I kept wondering about em. Finally, GT aired on CN, and I was like, "ZOMFGWTF ITS TIME!"

The only good part of GT was when Goku was training with Uub in the first ep. It pretty much went downhill from there. And about the SSJ4. I was expecting a SSJ4 to have insane power, but they made them weak as hell.

And as for everyone else becoming weaklings as well. Wtf? Um. Mystic Gohan? Stronger than a SSj3? What happened to that? Everyone became Krillin characters. Completely useless during fights. Shit, even Goku got his assed kicked more often. They just made everyone weak. It was very sad.

Yup. I loved the way they show some interesting stuff there, like Lin's abilities and the exorsims. Unlike in most anime where nothing happens, here they go rather graphical at all the cool parts but keep the disgusting stuff hidden.

I liked the mute-child case, it was really nice to see that even Lin has fatherly feelings; and the way that the answer was both so obvious and so difficult to understand made it truly amazing.

Once residence. 4 handosme bishounen. 1 crazy landlady. And one landlady's niece.

This is basically the story of YNSH: four bishounen live in a huge mansion, and are presented an offer they literaly cannot refuse (especially since their financial status is about as good as a dead otter's): if they can turn the landlady's niece into a wonderful lady by the end of their deadline, she will let them live in her home without paying the rent.

Of course, the four bishies, being used to massive numbers of ladies trying to get them, imeediatly jump on the offer, thinking that the niece would probably be a typical girl, and so they will have no trouble making her swoon over them and ultimately become a wonderful lady.

Or so they thought. Nakahara Sunako is a horror-freak, likes the darkness, and hates, simply HATES "glowing creatures" - i.e., beautiful people. She's traumatized since they guy she liked told her he doesn't like ugly girls (take my word for it guys, she's not ugly, normal at worst).

The story rolls from then on, in this crazy, romantic/horror/comedy anime, filled with chibi drawings, insane scenes, horror movie stuff, and of course, a completely UNlady-like girl. I honestly recommend this.

Although a lot of people would disagree, in my opinion this anime easily defeats Ouran High School Host Club and School Rumble. It's good people, really good.

Random comments:

Not for people who look for your typical sexy anime women, they are drawn very human-like (including actually drawing pinkish lips to the characters, that took a while to get used to). You won't find any white-haired guys there, either (BANZAI for no white haired bishies, for once), no shounen ai (although some of you sick fangirls might like to see Yuki dress up like a woman...), and not a lot of your typical love-love romance (no Ranmaru, no! No hitting on every girl that crossesyour path!).

What is it about anime that keeps you watching? That makes you come back time after time, and allow this to become more than a phase you might be going through? And how do you deal with critics who think you should/will "just grow out of it"?

For me, I think it's partly because there's always something new to discover. a new way of looking at an old subject, like vampires. As in the case of Trinity Blood. Another thing for me is the artwork and the detail present in most animes. Look at Bleach, then look at Trinity Blood, then look at, say, Berserk... the visual stylings are different each time. Also, the stories that can be told using animation as a medium seem to me to be much more rich and complex thna some of the stuff told using live action. but that might just be me...

As for the critics, well, let's just say that I'm 34 years old, adn I've been watching anime for 29 of those years. :) just about any critic I might have had gave up a long time ago trying to get me out of watching anime..

Oh, and do you sometimes find that your critics bust on anime out of ignorance, having never seen an anime episode or movie? Or so they find some of the content objectionable, like how quite a few anime series have demons/devils/magic/etc.

At first I think there are a lot of things that are impossible to realise in live action, but in anime.
Also Animes have no limits, all can be created how it is in the visions of the Animemaker. There are only in the synchronisation limits.
I like that there are a lot of kind of Anime. From Fantasy over SciFi to Lovestory and there also are mixed ones.

i think naruto would win with four tails but Kyuubi is a double edged sword. he may get very powerful and stuff but consider the strain it puts on his body. it is sort of like the eight gates in a way. plus the more tails naruto has the the weaker the seal restraining Kyuubi is.

Um well some people download Prison Break or Heroes.. I download anime. I like how storys are presented and told in the anime-format. Although I rather read the mangas, the fact that you can relax much more when you watch anime is very important. You have to be more active while reading manga. Am I drifting away here :p in any case, I think anime is more imaginative than it's equalent, and the japanese culture and so on is more interesting than almost anything else.

Yea, I read that Elfen Lied first aired in Japan on July 25, 2004.

Elfen Lied just has good amount of blood in it. The worst for me is when it has that amount of blood with guts, intestines, bone, livers, lungs, etc in it. With a very viscreal feel to the scene.

I forget which anime but there was this one scene where this guy cuts this guys arm down the middle vertically and you see the blade peeling through the bone in his arm and such while he is screaming in pain and after it is split open like a bananna with the bone cleaved down the middle sparying with blood he slashes the guys stomach and all his intestines and blood and everything start pouring out his stomach all over the ground. That is one of the most horrific scenes I've seen.

Damn these fights draggggg on over the weeks. Everything just feels so monotonous about it, though that won't stop me from watching and enjoying it. I really cannot wait to see Luffy's fight though and for Zoro to actually beat Kaku. Looking forward to the next episode, but I am dreading the impending doom that will be multiple filler episodes.

I watch things because I always enjoy a good story, and watching is faster and easier to do than reading, and it enhances the experience because both visual and audio imageries are presented. Why do I watch anime? Because it looks nice. I'm a sucker for nice tidy things, and the artwork in most anime presents that to me. I love color, and real life just doesn't provide nearly enough fresh and lively colors that anime, or cartoons in that matter can bring.

In the end... I watch because I like it. There doesn't have to be a long explanation of certain things, and why I like anime is one of those.

TBH, I think, that just like Sora & Riku, Tidus is seriously underrated. The kid cries...so?

Vaan's quickenings are more...unrealistic than Tidus's. IMO one pyroblast and it's over. The quickings appear to take place in a seperate dimension seeing as there is endless blackness around during it, so it's not like Tidus can escape. He's screwed.

They both seem to have symbolism within them, the Opening focus more on the materlai world and the character's relation to it. Starting with the sea of Light's with the insane laughing. Then L and his obsession with sweets and Ryuk with his obsession with apples. The ending is what really caught my attention (Around when "WHAT UP PEOPLE" came in) where it was flying through the images of the death note, Light using it, Ryuk's face behind the rules writtin in it, and then Light standing in the Shinigami realm.

It kind of implies that Light or anyone who uses the Death Note, usually gets wrapped up in or goes insane with their powers, but forgets the consequence of their actions.

The ending is more of Light's story and how he seperates himself from the "normal" humans. The elevator he rides in is supposed to symbolize his acention to heaven and onto the throne of God, then you see that it's actually upside down (note that the Cityline at the very end of this scene is upside down) then it shows his fall even though he still seemingly believes he's untouchable (note he's falling off the skyscaper backwards with a smile on his face and his arms open wide like nothing will happen to him)

I didn't like the last bit of the ending though, it's kind of a major spoiler.

Don't take my word as the absolute meaning, this is just what I see when I watch it.... I think :D
