Larxene vs Soifon, battle of the kunoichi(sort of...)

They both have speed, but Larxene can make clones and whatnot. She also controls lightning.

Due to these abilities, I'm going to have to say that Larxene would have the upperhand until Soifon whipped out her cheap-ass Zanpakuto. Maybe I should've made Marluxia vs Soifon, because of their similar "ZOMG! You automatically die after so and so hits" thing.

Anyway, Soifon would most likely get a hit in, and go on about how Larxene will die in the next hit, putting her on her guard. Larxene would then up her game, and start going insane with her speed/clone/lightning combo moves.

But alas, due to the cheap nature of Soifon's Zanpakuto, the match would be over in two hits. It all depends on if Larxene can defeat Soifon without being hit twice. >: /

Well, I believe that he has only killed convicted felons as they are in jail when they die. What are the implications of his actions and how do they effect history? They don't effect history. They effect the future, not the past, this era will be known as the Reign of Kira and will be taught to students in the future, making himself history, not changing the current history.

To your question of laws and justice, Kira acts mainly as an enforcer of these laws. He doesn't mock the justice system, he enforces it.

The way I see it, Kira isn't killing random innocent people on the streets, he's killing criminals. By killing these criminals, he can possibly scare potential criminals into not doing what they were going to do, improving the overall safety of the world. (If that makes sense to you.. =\)

Now I know its strange to think that one could fall in love with and anime character but to some people it does and the majority of those people won't admit that they have or at one point did find themselves falling for an anime character. I myself have fallen for multiple anime character because I find them not only to look realistic but the personality that they portray is also a reason. I may be the only one to really admit to it but the idea of falling in love with anime characters does happen. For me I don't take it the extreme as to go off and merry an Asian. He's hot, badass, and way more interesting then Near XP I'm interested to see what the anime does for Mello. I thought the anime did more justice to L's character and, especially near his end, make him seem alot more human and capable of acting "normally" almost I suppose you could say.

In the manga Mello was definately more human then Near or L. He was unpredictable and spontanious, and alot more exciting and random then any of the other characters xD From what I could tell, he got along more with the kids in Whammy's House; a very normal sociable character, while Near was locked up inside keeping to himself. Theres no doubt that Mello was a very cruel yet very caring person at the same time, he was just very selective about what he cared about xD

I still like L a little bit more then Mello (just a bit xD) but out of Near and Mello, Mello is lightyears ahead of Near XPPP Near is the perfect detective and perfect brain, but he's a lousy person.

Xemnas vs. Urahara: Don't know enough about Urahara's powers (none of us do) other than he can make a blood shield or a red beam. I'm even sure the red shield was cracked once before. Xemnas wins.

Xigbar vs. Kyoraku: Bullets vs. compressed wind projectiles. Once again a character who we don't know the full extent of his powers, so we can't bring Bankai into play. Granted, shooting him won't be easy, as wind resistance combined with shunpo won't allow Xibar to get a bead on him...till he warps the dimension and places Kyoraku into his little corridor. If Kyoraku couldn't get in close at the beginning, then he loses. Even if Xigbar was caught in a tornado, what's to say he won't just teleport out? Xigbar wins.

Xaldin vs. Ikkaku: 6 spears vs. 1. Not to mention Ikkaku loses defense during Bankai...then again, I'm positive that those spears would be shattered from a direct hit from Bankai Hoozukimaru's insane offensive power. If that's the case, then Xaldin's dragon would be smashed aswell...but being pelted by spear after spear while trying to charge up his attack equals a loss. Xaldin wins.

Vexen vs. Hitsugaya: Hitsugaya stated himself all the water in the air is his to freeze. Including the air around Vexen. Vexen wouldn't be able to teleport out of a solid block of ice, because the ice encases him. If he did teleport, the ice goes with him. Also, Hyourinmaru could occupy the shadows while Hitsugaya went toe-to-toe with Vexen. If Vexen blocks an attack from Hitsugaya's sword, why not just freeze him as the attack connects with the shield? Hitsugaya wins.

Lexaeus vs. Komomura: The first cakewalk of the battle. Making rocks erupt from the ground won't do much against a flying opponent. Once Lexaeus realizes this and tries to get Komomura down to earth (lol) by flying or teleporting above him, being swatted away by a giant hand, some sort of kidou blast or stabbed/chopped by a gigantic zanpakuto makes for a quick win from Komomura.

Zexion vs. Mayuri: Don't see how this is 'sposed to be an equal match-up, but oh well. If Mayuri manages to hit Zexion once, the fight is over...the poison from the Bankai wouldn't be too much of a problem, because teleportation...then again, all it takes is a whiff. The book dimension stuff doesn't matter to someone with shunpo, as they would have to be a fool to get hit with on of those books when they're easily fast enough to dodge. Mayuri wins.

Saix vs. Zaraki: Zaraki's no fool. Once he realized the amount of time it took for Saix's invinsibility to end, he'd be on him like white on rice. Then again, if Saix could somehow muster enough strength to end Zaraki before that happens, he could win. Not likely, as each blow would be shrugged off. If Saix tried to attack while his invinsibility was off, the attack would hit home, and be countered with a decapitation. Zaraki wins.

Axel vs. Renji: The two losers of their respective series' going head to head? Does anyone care who wins this one? Sigh...okay, Axel could attack and defend at the same time because he could launch one chakrum and block with the other. Renji could do the same, only by splitting Zabimaru into however many pieces it has, and attacking/defending with them individually. He wouldn't have far to dodge, cause of the ring of fire they were in so he'd have to go into flight, and Axel could teleport to dodge each blade. I say Renji, only because if the fight was down to melee, even if the attack from shikai Zabimaru was blocked, it'd wrap around and cut Axel anyway. That, or Axel would die off from over-exerting himself.

Demyx vs. Hitsugaya: Really, water shouldn't have been pitted against Hitsugaya. Water clones are obsolete due to being frozen, and a guitar doesn't make a good melee weapon against a friggin' sword. Hitsugaya wins.

Luxard vs. Ukitake: Well, Ukitake is weak from tuberculosis, and also we only have his game attacks to go by. Not much about him says he can stand up against Luxard, other than he could create a tsunami to wash away any cards that were going to turn him into a card or die or whatever it did...likewise, he could send lightning through the tsunami, and if the water managed to touch Luxard, he'd be fried. Then again, teleporting. Luxord wins.

Marluxia vs. Byakuya: This was done in an old arena battle, thereby making it null and void. BTW, Byakuya won, so he wins again by default. LOL, just kidding. He does win, but I'll explain anew. Sora couldn't shunpo out of that timer thing at the beginning, so of course he had a time limit. Marl wouldn't have had the time to apply that to a shunpo character. Likewise, thorns coming from the ground don't hurt flying opponents. Then, there's the fact that Marluxia is dealing with thousands of senbon petals/swords/kidou blasts and well, Byakuya wins. Again.

Larxene vs. Soifon: Like you said, all it talkes is two hits and the fight is over. Soifon wins.

Roxas vs. Kyoraku: Yet again, I can't very well defend someone who I'm not aware of there abilities. I know it's wind-related and that's it. Then again that video shows us Kyoraku could just fly/shunpo around those light orbs...and also, fight from long distance whenever Roxas is just using the beams to surround him. Let Roxas sit still so he can be swallowed by a tornado...then again, he could teleport out just as easily as Xigbar. I'm giving it to Kyoraku, because if wind is indeed Kyoraku's forte, then defending and/or attacking from any angle would be no problem, and Roxas couldn't get close to him.

So the final tally is Gotei 13=9, Organization 13=4

Most of these battles are unfair, since we haven't seen most of the captains use bankai or even fight seriously. However, since most of the captains seem to stand a chance even in shikai, bankai would probably swing the favor towards them.

Most anime characters do not resemble Japanese people. If anything, they tend to resemble Western characters with their colored eyes, different colored hair, and stature. The reason most people can't cosplay well is because they don't have correct proportions (i.e. no anti-gravity hair, too tall, too fat)

However, if you look at some cgi movies like Advent Children, they usually have Japanese faces with a few American features.

Marluxia - He's very fast himself, and then there are those transformations. What if Byakuya never makes it to Bankai? Let's say the two are just straight up fighting, no transformations/Shikai/Bankai. Who would win then? >.>

Roxas - Likewise, Kyo wouldn't get close to Roxas. They both have ranged attacks, but Roxas seems to be the better swordsman. I mean, we haven't seen Kyo fight, but I doubt he can slash as much/fast as Roxas can.

All Org XIII characters can "Shunpo", so using that as an arguement isn't really right.

And for Larxene, that's assuming that Soifon can land those hits. >.>;

And as for Demyx, Vexen, & Zexion. I had nowhere to throw them. None of the three can fight, and are known to be the weakest members. Thus, I put Demyx/Vexen against the weakest captain(with a similar element), and Zexion against another weaker captain...

Like I said before, feel free to switch it up to make things more interesting.

@Jay: Half of them aren't fair because most of the Org XIII are captain level, whereas the one's that aren't...are like...3rd seat at best.

Bankai? Yeah, and? The Org can also do Bankai equivalent moves...

I think much of it has to do with anime fans "outside of Asia". Most casual anime fans (i.e. those who don't go posting on anime forums and doing debates about it) probably don't have a high preference for asians over other people. For those who do, they probably just had a natural preferences for them anyways.

There's also some extremists out there would say anything is better just comes it comes from Asia, including people. I see them alot on forums about learning an Asian language; they usually seem to have the idea of "I'm tired of my country, the culture is horrible; I want to go to Japan/Korea/China/other Asian country and live there".

1. Cosplaying is more popular in Asia than it is elsewhere.
2. Anime is generally better animated and have continuous storylines, making them an ongoing movie.

As for some other points...

I don't feel any shame because no one calling me childish or a kid but instead calling me cute, handsome, etc.This is because the people who would call you childish or a kid probably don't want to talk to you and avoid you. If you were to post your pics online at some non-cosplay-related site, many MANY people would think that's childish. Many people think Halloween is childish, so they definitely think pretending to be a cartoon character is childish.

- Anime and Cartoon have deferent quality and level because Anime have much more higher quality and level, you can see how Anime more realistic than Cartoon as the proof. So Anime are not = Cartoon because booth Anime and Cartoon does not have the same quality and level.An apple is a fruit. An orange does not taste as good as an apple. By your logic, this means an orange is not a fruit.

Anime using more higher technique and skills to make the animation to become more alive or realistic, you can see how Anime more realistic than Cartoon as the proof as well. So Anime are not technically Cartoon because booth Anime and Cartoon does not have the same technique and skills on how to make an Anime and a Cartoon.
Realism = Quality, to make something more realistic needs more technique and skillsDefine anime. If you're talking about "Japanese animation", then of course only Japan makes anime. If you're talking about the style, then any country makes anime. In the native English language, anime = cartoon = drawings on paper on tv.

So by saying Anime = Cartoon, Anime technically Cartoon or Anime in definitions are Cartoon not only ignorant but also idioticAn anime is a cartoon. Face it. In Japan, anime is used to refer to any animation anywhere, from ANY place. Hence, the equivalent word in English is cartoon.

If you want to say that non ASIANS can make Anime then you just need to mention 1 Anime that were made by non ASIANS. It's hard to make a person with the technology they had, but when Shrek came out they managed to break those barriers. The Incrediables soared above it with an all-human CGI movie.

- Turning people to ice...? I've noticed that people are giving the Bleach characters priority. Vexen also controls ice. What's stopping him from freezing Hitsugaya? Or simply breaking free from the ice himself? They both control ice, so they're equal. Hitsugaya just has the fighting advantage...being an actual fighter.

- Powering up, and flying into the sky, charging at the target with immense force.

- He could just suck you into a book. Game over?

- Setting the ground on fire. Renji would have to fly at all times, and its too cramped a space for his Bankai.
- Axel...well, his ultimate move ends up killing him, so if he wanted to take Renji out with him, he could. >: /

- He may be physically weak, but give him this; all of his moves are Bankai worthy.

- Summoning all of those cards, and hiding himself in one. If you hit the wrong card, you'll turn into a card. One slip up, and its game over.

- When he starts blasting beams of...redness from the ground.
- When he covers the ground with those portals, which would keep Byakuya from using his Bankai, since he needs to drop his sword into the ground.
- Summoning Specre, his NeoNobody.
- Specre's transformation.

Larxene:
- When she forms clones, and they all drop to the ground while covered in electricity at a extremely fast speed.
- Blasting two large beams of lightning from both palms while doing a 360 spin + the lightning bolts that shoot down while she's doing this.
- It would also be hard for Soifon to get to her, due to Larxene's tendancy to charge up when anyone gets close to her... as you saw when Sora tried it...

Roxas:
- He has a lot of Bankai-equivalent moves.

Heh, I wanted to say that I liked cartoons more than anime, just to spite him, but I can't, because that would be a lie.

Of course I like anime more than cartoons (unless we're talking about Family Guy, Futurama, or Metalocalypse), because it's got more of a mature theme, and is a lot more interesting half of the time.

This anime is put together by Production I.G., the guys behind Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Not sure who all is subbing it, but I generally pick up the sub by A-Kraze.

Set in a world that resembles medieval China, the story revolves around a female bodyguard named Balsa and her mission to protect one of the Imperial Princes.

Revealing any more than that would lead to spoilers, so I'll leave it there. The plot shows great promise, and I'm following this one closely.

By the way, if you're a fan of L'Arc En Ciel, you'll love the OP they did for this one.

With Byakuya and Marluxia, I'm stressing the amount of offensive options Byakuya has as his reason for winning. If there was just a melee duel between the two without transformations, there's still kidou (white lighning to keep him at bay or the binding spell) and you said teleporting matches shunpo. You're right that it would be tougher to beat him hand to hand, but only marginally when you consider what I said about the thorns, not to mention that scythe throwing attack would only make things worse for Marluxia.

Saix vs. Kenpachi may go differently, except the only time Kenpachi let someone hit him was when he needed to catch Tousen, and when he knew Ichigo couldn't hurt him. If he thought Saix could hurt him, I'm sure he'd take him more seriously.

That, and I already posted earlier that he would let Saix hit him after his invincibility wore off. Decifering that when the moon was behind the clouds, Saix stopped fighting as if he was untouchable, he'd know immediately the way to beat him. I hate to give Zaraki that much credit, but the thing is he's proved he's more than just brute strength.

2. What about kidou? It can be dodged. Binding spells? That's lame. Why not just have all of the Org members freeze time... and end everything with one move? Or just use Darkness to warp their opponents into the Sun or something? Psh.

3. Saix doesn't stop attacking when he's not berserk, he just attacks less often. Doesn't mean he won't fight back outside of berserk mode... obviously. Besides, he'd only be able to judge Saix's power by letting him hit him(during berserk), or if Saix blasts through one of his moves.

How would he use that to beat Saix? Magically cover the moon? Anyone, you're assuming that Zaraki will magically get away from Saix while he's berserk... without a scratch.

And yes, you're giving him too much credit. Saix likes to play mind games, though he tends to rely more on brute force alone during fights. Not sure if that's because he had a personal vendetta against Sora or not. But he's definately smarter than Zaraki. Especially when Zaraki goes berserk as well (which he has no control over, unlike Saix). Two berserkers going head to head? The match is decided by who's stronger. Saix is much faster, and his moves are way more effective, and can hit at a much farther distance than Zaraki's simple slashes.

{edit}And I forgot to comment on this earlier. While Komamura can dodge the earth attacks, let's not get too ahead of ourselves here. Lexaeus won't be killed by one slash. He'd more than likely push it back a few times. Especially when he goes all SSJ on his ass.

Yes! Another comic book hero takes a win. The Flash doesn't just run real fast. He's fast because he can tap into the speed force, an energy that has a hand in anything that moves fast. He can also sap the speed force from others, making them move slower or trap them in his draft, forcing them to run behind him in a train. Then there's running through obstacles via vibrating his atoms so that they seperate and become intangible...

The real killer is that the speed force exists in every dimension and throughout time, which is how Flash travels between dimensions, planets, time periods, etc. If he needed to, he could run to the point before everyone reaches the starting line and just run straight to the finish line before the race starts.

But like it was said earlier, he needs to pick up speed to do all of these.

Also, Quicksilver barely runs at the speed of sound, and ages as he runs. Run too much, and he's dead...so I hope this track isn't too long.

I was going to write a detailed analysis of each fight, but i would have just said what other people said. I honestly don't think that vexen, zexion, or luxord could fight at captain level. Of the rest of the matchups, demyx and axel got their natural enemies as opponents (hitsugaya could just freeze all of demyx's water, and renji completely outreaches axel, who focuses on short-range combat). A lot of the shingami haven't had their abilities completely revealed either, which makes the matchups kind of ambiguous in some cases. Most of the fights would be close though, the only reason Sora was able to beat them was because of mechanics square put in to make the game possible for a human to play (second chance, spam healing).

Hmm, this series looks like it has potential, but I'm still not sold. The Nodoss just seem ridiculously powerful to me. It kind of takes the fun out of it, when you can oblitarate anything in just one punch. But who knows, maybe it gets more complicated later on.

And I have to say, the character designs and art quality in general really looks bad if you ask me. With the exception of Age, everyone looks ridiculous or horribly undetailed.

The only reason we haven't seen them race seriously is because Wally was a big kid (starting the race while Supes is looking the other way, making fake distress calls to distract him, stuff like that).

And yes Hans, Flash usually does his time-travel accidentally, but during Infinite Crisis Kid Flash, Flash, and the old Flash with the goofy helmet all ran Superboy into the future intentionally...so I figure they learned how to do so. Granted, they "broke" the speed force doing so, but that's been retconned.

I don't really care for the physical fighting that's so typical of a lot of animes I've seen.

I agree with Envy. I find Bleach more boring than DEath Note because Bleach is just so damn predictable like the rest of the typical shonen animes. You know that no one good or importnat will die and that the "bad" guys will ultimately lose. The world in Bleach is white and black, simple to the core, all there is to do for the characters is fight each other dumbly. In Death Note, there isn't a "bad" guy or a "good" guy. Instead, it's a battle between beliefs and intelligence. Storyline is prevalent in DN. Bleach, unfortunately, lets the fights rule the anime, and not the story or characters. It's like comparing a simple Holywood action movie like Bad Boys or something like that to The Godfather. The action movie will have the fights and flashiness, but will never come close to the depth and complexity of the Godfather. And no, i'm not saying that Death Note is as good as The Godfather, cuz it's not. :)

Death Note is for more inteligent, and it's sort of the battle of the minds and proving mental superiority and questioning the morale of the main character,while Bleach is pretty much actuin filled I-will-do-all-for-my-friends like story. They are both good, but they are way too different to be compared. :)

As you can see most of the animes I've seen have demons, samurai, vampires, or ninjas in them... I've seen the Blood Movie. I didn't know it was a show as well. I'll probably check that out.

I've heard about that Rurouni Kenshin, that's Samurai X, right? I rented a dvd once didn't really like it but I've heard the other ones are pretty good though.
