And that is supported by what, exactly? Lucci is powerful, very, but Ichigo would rape him pretty badly.
We've never seen Ichigo have a "You can't cut me" moment, so the iron skin thing fails.
Ichigo is as strong as a high-tier captain. Anyone below Renji would not be able to cut him. Simple logic.

Luffy wont die from one attack, once he's in gear 2, he can dodge Ichigo's attacks, and work him, and if really neccisary, go gear 3.

Ichigo wins the who got beat more competetion. obviously Luffy wont die from one attack thats why Ichigo moves at super-speeds to inflicts 50+ slashes at once. Gear 3 is just suicide may be strong but mega-slow. Besides there are a few Bleach characters less powerful than Ichigo that have survived being frozen in worse conditions....Shawlong being Frozen by Hyourinmaru survived it and hes a gillian-class!

It is on the level of normal shunpo (only impossible to do from the air), which is far slower than bankai vaizard Ichigo. Shigan allows people to attack with the force of a bullet, which is still too weak to hurt a character like Ichigo.

Most of that stuff is extremely weak. Cannonballs, giants, dinosaur skeletons, and most other blunt force things you listed are comparable to a serious Jidanbou... which is fairly weak. Normal people can survive being bitten in the face by a dog...

"Exploding bombs" are comparable to a bankai getsga tenshou, which Ichigo could easily shake off in vaizard form. Being impaled by a hook doesn't seem bad to being nearly cut in half by Zaraki.

Because Luffy would just die from one attack, right.Because Ichigo can slash several thousand times in a few seconds, and only 1 slash in the right place is enough to win.

You fail at life. But witch got to it before me. ALL souls in bleach universe have a shield dependent on their reitsu. Oh, and compared to a human luffy normally is not much faster, unless when rebounding or using his elasticity to move faster, and gear 2nd only makes him a few times faster.

I just read that users can move fast in the "blink of an eye" and assumed it meant shunpo like speed, seeing as some people here think it will somehow allow Luffy to dodge Ichigo.

Soru does not grant attack speed which allows the user to strike several hundred thousand (and maybe even millions) of simultaneous strikes in all directions. Please don't overreact. The admirals, the Schibukai, and the like have a lot of power on their side. Elemental powers such as Enell, Aokiji, and Crocodile, or the Black Beard shouldn't be underestimated.

It's just that Luffy has zero chances against Ichigo.

Cerberus would be the equivalent to a summon(Gamabunta) or tailed beast in the Naruto-verse. Kiba can't deal with that, and neither can that Wolf's Rain guy.. Brian Griffin? lol?

Needless to say, a Captain level Shinigami will have no problem against a mere giant, three-headed dog.. Especially when you consider the nature of Koma's attacks; giant, armored things.. and the fact that he has a lot of stamina and endurance.

That's the key word here: "think". I think Renji is stronger than Luffy, due to various reasons (most notably his bankai). You think Luffy is stronger due to his shows in the One Piece manga/anime.

No. The rules state that shinigamis can be seen and touched. "Cut" is not mentioned. Therefore the statement "one cannot harm Ichigo due to the fact that one does not possess enough reiatsu" is valid even by the rules.

That doesn't apply to most VS threads, though. Most of the time there is chakra/ke/youryoku some sort of energy involved.

In this specific case, Luffy lacks the basic ability used to cut shinigami, which is sharpening one's energy. Since Luffy does not know how to focus ki/reiatsu/whatever you call energy, Luffy cannot harm Ichigo.

Ichigo can be hurt by being slammed into normal rocks. If Luffy is able to touch Ichigo, I fail to see how Luffy's fist moving at high speeds would be any different than a rock/piece of street cement/traffic light injuring Ichigo. Luffy doesn't need to cut.
Compare a rock/concrete road to a fist with enough reiatsu in it to smash a building.

That's why Luffy's fist is very different from Grimmjow's.

The rules state that you have to do everything possible to make the fights somewhat fair. IE, allowing ANYONE to cut Shinigami.

Saying they can't because they don't have reiatsu is pointless, not to mention the fact that a previous mod here said that was invalid.

Ichigo wins the fight, I see no reason to debate about whether or not Luffy could harm him... I mean, he can't even hit him - that's how much of a speed difference there is.

If Shinigami can be hurt with something that isnt a Zanapaktou or "Unable" to use the invisble reiatsu shield. Isnt that the same as Alucard only able to be killed by a human or somthing like dat?

The fight has to be set so that both fighters can hurt each other if possible. Note the "if possible". This means that someone like Hanawatsit wouldn't be able to hurt Zaraki anyway - because of the size difference. Zaraki's a big guy, Hana isn't going to hurt him with a punch or anything; he'd just crack his fist. But, once again, since this is Bleach vs Bleach, I'm not too sure if the reiatsu thing is left in. Bleach naturally is the the most Unbeatable anime ever. Why? You need to have some reiatsu to even see shinigami. Shinigami can not be hurt by the living. Only Zanpaktous, Kidou, hollows and Spirit-related objects can hurt shinigami. Zanpaktous can cut though both mortal-flesh and soul (reason why they can hurt shinigami. Shinigami can pass though phyiscal objects like ghosts. They can fly too. The only way to use a <Insert anime character here>'s powers aganist a shinigami they need to have reiatsu. 1 out of 500,000 people have the slightist reiatsu (estimate). Only the dead have allot of reiatsu. its even bigger with 1 of 5,000,000 in a chance of a person having enough reiatsu to be a human-shinigami hybrid EX: ICHIGO

Examples
Guy tries to hit a shinigami with a stick= Passes right though them
Guy tries to see shinigami= Dosent work
Guy tries to nuke a shinigami= Nuke has no effect at all.

Also i said two pages before this that Ichigos reaitsu is so high it will paralyze luffy for him so he can just stab him. Paralyzing reiatsu= Spirit Pressure same thing

Really both characters have more than their share of insanely overpowered characters while comics have some of more famous ones (Superman, Silver Surfer. ect.) the anime side has enough power houses to at lest hold (Ryoko, Dark Schnider, the casts of Saint Seiya and Sailor Moon would all hold their own against many high level cosmics) really it only comes down to the most powerful of characters your characters from things like Bleach, naruto, X men, all of them are not even going to factor in.

To figure out how it would break down, we first would need to figure out who are the ones powerful enough to even make a difference.

I am following the rules. It is not stated that shinigami can be cut by people who simply do not meet the requirements. Only that they can be seen and harmed. Mods don't need to adapt, but when discussing specific anime you will have to remember the facts about it. Otherwise it's not a debate. Nope. Kenshin VS Zaraki - Kenshin would win (assuming her has his special attacks), because Kenshin is a master swordsman. Ever heard of sword pressure? Master swordsmen are supposed to be able to cut ethereal beings anyway, and it's only natural if we say that they automatically create the finest edge to their sword with their mental energy. On the other hand a character like Luffy only throws regular punches, which would probably damage a shinigami as much as a concrete wall, but not much otherwise.

Oh and of course, there is no logic in Bleach.

First of all it's wrong that shinigami can only be cut by a force around or above their own. If you sharpen your energy enough, you can cut anyone easily. It's not a matter of how much energy you have, it's a matter of how you use it.

Second, as I said Kenshin is a master swordsman. He naturally does the same thing that a shinigami would do: focuses his energy in his sword to allow him to slice through metal/earth/shinigami (that is if we follow the basic rule that shinigami can be seen and touched).
And about Luffy: He can smash stones and whatnot, so the same can be said about him too. But if a little kid walks up to Zaraki, he obviously isn't going to do much.
Being able to smash rocks and being able to cut through them are two different things. In order to smash through rocks you need to have a lot of brute strength and to apply impact velocity, or whatever. In order to cut through you will need to properly focus you mind, and all that other anime stuff. That's the obvious difference.

Sigh... read the freaking rules. Also, no, to be able to slice through metal and to be able to slice through a shinigami are not alike. But since we're talking master swordsmen here, we assume that they can sharpen their mind to the point where they can cut ethereal beings.

A toddler with a sword can easily cut a human. A sword without a toddler can. It just has to drop on someone. Same. In order to cut a shinigami you will need to properly focus your mental energy in your sword. Zoro, for example, can slice through steel when he focuses his mind. He couldn't do it before he focused his mind.

The same applies here, and even to Ichigo VS Zaraki. Ichigo had to first focus his mind before he could damage Zaraki.

Assuming that the opponent is a veteran of many battles and can ignore their opponent's killing intent, the same applies here.

The hulk can be eaisly killed by goku. Hulk is just a really really really (hours of reapeating the word really, Buff) He can crush an asteroid but he cant hurt his enemies if he can hit them. EX: Every DBZ character aganist Hulk. Or the fact that Aizen can hypnotizing him to go somewhere where he could die from nature. Like the sun or something. Superman is really a challenge he could probably win aganist goku but then again Superman dosent have any uber strong special attack. Aizen might not be able to beat the comic's uber characters but he can not die by just hypnotizing them. and no Comic book characters too cannot escape from Aizen's Shikai. Doomdsay will probably kick the crap out of anyone not stronger than superman. However the fact that Aizens zanpaktou is impossible to resist or stop (other than not seeing it) so Doomsday cant be killed by Aizen. but he can be killed if every single DBZ character went on him (yeah it takes that much) he would revive again but thats what throwing his corpse into a super-massive black hole is for. But i think that option wont come up.

All I'll say to you, War, is read the Goku vs Hulk thread. Goku lost that fight.
I forgot about DS.... but Sailor Moon? Please tell me you're kidding. I was never a fan, but I know that she definately can't fight Superman or Hulk.......
And enough about Aizen. He's nothing. Aizen only manipulates what you see/hear/feel or w/e, and that's only if he can unsheathe his Zanpaktou and release Shikai before being killed.
He doesn't control the person directly, not that I know of at least. I'm tired of people saying, "Aizen can just make him walk off a cliff! ZOMG!?"
Yeah, no. He's at best - high tier Captain (Urahara, Shinsui, Isshin, etc). And if you think he's going to manipulate every single fighter on the field, then I lawl at you.
Anyway, DS would be the MVP for the Anime characters.. Most DBZ characters are weak when compared to the god Comic characters. Anyone under SSJ level is useless..

well there not really an anime.
They are like a group of monsters fighting each other. like Godzilla vs King Kong AKA DK'S Dad. Not really that strong to me. the anime series is probably american which i like to call "Cartoons" they would choose the american side since its american, american comic and only a single anime series but they would get pwned by someone like Ichigo

If this is being closed, I'll edit later.

Ichigo would win this battle if everyone was going full out because I'm pretty certain Luffy can't hit shinigami. Though gear 2 would probably be fast enough to keep up as it is faster than the human eye. Luffy tends to be at a disadvantage because he has to stretch to use the most of his powers. Both of them have hero perserverence though, so any one could really win. Matters who's life is on the line in the background. Lets say Orihime/Rukia/anyone Ichigo cares about was captured and the soul society beat the crap out of Luffy's crew. Now a battle relating to that scenario would be fantastic.

Now, if this was a true battle where they were actually fighting face to face with pure brute strengh, its so Luffy. Why? Well, old human Ichigo probably can't take several hundred fists to the face and be to happy about it. And well Naruto, you were kinda thrown away a little while ago. So if they truly were going to fight fairly, Luffy would win.

And for the people who think Luffy has not taken anything crazy, he took several razorsharp cuts to the guts, along with about 100 shigan's, was thrown around a lot, and was so injured by the end of the battle he could not move. I'm not saying hes taken more than Ichigo, but I'm saying he certainly hasn't taken much less. I suggest watching the numerous Luffy vs. Lucci videos on youtube if you still have doubts.

Silver Surfer is not the ultimate character. for a guy that can

-Use Alchemy
-Bend Space and time
-Has Super strength (same has supermans probably)
-He can see future events.
-Sense beings very very very far away (on a solar system scale)
Hes not that strong in terms of Offense

The surfer may be strong be he is sure not god. Since he is "Killable". Surfer can die but only from someone who is nearly-as strong as him or stronger than him hes not immortal for sure. His board can absorb any attack and is under the mental command of the surfer. but it cant block everything "at once". Something that can destroy him completely like a Spirit Bomb or a maximum power Kamehameha can destroy him. Dark Schnider who is uber-mega-godmoding-super-strong or U.M.G.S.S can slice a planet in half just by using the the tip of his power. I dont think the surfer can survive an attack of that magnitude. obviously Dark Schnider is above or at the level of Silver, so he can hurt him.

Dark Schneider survives as long as his eternal atoms are intact. He also has a Seraphim level Dispell Bound granted to him by Judas Pain. In order to kill him, you need to be able to destroy his body, mind, and soul at the same time. Characters who are only limited to the physical plane are useless against him.

As for this match up, comics take this. There are a bunch of omnipotent characters in anime/manga, but both DC and Marvel are multiverses. The One Above All who rules the Marvel multiverse and Yahweh who rules the DC multiverse would crush a god who's restricted to only a single universe. Their handymen Living Tribunal (TOAA) and Spectre (Yahweh) would do the same. It's their job to make sure no one universe gets too powerful.

Silver Surfer is a LOW-tier cosmic. There are a lot of characters in Marvel and DC that are more powerful than him. Galactus, any of the Abstracts, Tyrant, Thanos, Beyonder, and the entire Celestial race are all from Marvel and would utterly destroy him. There are many others who could do the same from Marvel. Antimonitor, Amazo, Parallax, Imperiex, Superman Prime, and Solaris are DC characters that could clean Silver Surfer's clock. As with Marvel, there are many other characters in DC that would beat him.

But if you want to compared it with those two shows I'd say that One Piece is a little like Bleach - The fights, the comedy, that "friendship and justice" are in the foreground and all that. I don't think it's much like Naruto [besides...I don't like Naruto...sorry....]

I'm pretty sure that most of Squall's Limits would rape MC. Blasting Zone would pretty much be undodge-able, since when its charged up, its so tall that it sticks off of the Earth.. The only problem with this move is the charging time.

Lionheart would definately kill him. I forget how many slashes that is, but its very fast - and being used after Renzokuken = dead MC.

Then there's Rough Divide and Fated Circle, though these moves aren't that useful unless he hits MC head on.

Like I said before, Squall shouldn't be here, it isn't fair for him.. unless MC decides to drop his guns and use that energy sword thing.. Vincent & Xigs won't be so kind though.

I've been trying to avoid this thread, but it seems that can't be done. -_-"

Most of the XIII can use Shunpo-like moves btw; exceptions being Vexen, Zexion(?), and maybe Lexaeus.

Xemnas, Marluxia, Larxene, and Lexaeus would be the tough ones to beat for them though. Axel and Demyx aren't much for physical strength, but their attacks are devistating. Zexion could simply trap a few of the weaker Espada in his book, but he's pretty weak altogether.

I don't read the manga, so I'm not sure of the power of most of the Espada, but if they're all stronger than most of the Gotei members, then I think they'd win, though it wouldn't be flawless or easy.

Espada 1-4 are probably enough to beat everyone save Xenmas. Organization XIII is fast, but not on the level of vaizard Ichigo. I doubt weaker and mid-level members of Organization XIII could even hurt the top espada.

Well, despite SS being a low-tier cosmic, that doesn't change his ability to alter ANYTHING at a cosmic level. Wizard Magazine had a Comic Book Battle Royale back in like...97 where SS won against Hulk, Spawn, Wonder Woman, Professor X, The Flash, and a few others.

He can beat Supes in too many ways: suck the solar energy out of his body, change our Yellow sun into Red, convert the solid ground under Superman into Kryptonite, etc. I'm aware of the "DC is always stronger than Marvel, period" rule, but SS is the exception (and Sentry, in a way...) Likewise, Superman has come back from the dead due to shear willpower aswell after the Death of Superman story. So yeah, I know all of the characters posted by Kyouka can slamdance SS...just not DS.

SS doesn't need to fight on a physical destructive level when he or anyone with a significant amount of the power cosmic can alter anything in existence to their will. Energy, time, matter, it doesn't matter.

Yeah, i'd say Ulquiorra alone would be a match for pretty much the entire organization.. They don't seem to be particularly special, and certainly none of them can move at even bankai Ichigo's speed (from the video#s i've watched.)

I imagine they'd meet the same fate as Inoune's Shinigami gaurds.

It won't be a landslide. Most of the Org would handle anyone up to Grimmjaw with ease, and Ulq wouldn't "easily" take them all on by himself. Xemnas, Marluxia, & Xigbar would probably beat Ulq together; this isn't including the many transformations that Xemnas & Marluxia have..

Obviously Comics have some prettty high-tier uber characters but Dark Schnider doesnt have to take them all at once. He could have other anime characters fight them 1 on 1. Apparently Comics hate the idea of having 1 on 1 battles like anime. Ever since The Justice Friends or Justice Leauge there has been like at least a ton of super heroes/heroines to a counter part of a ton of super villians/villianesses. They charge at each other randomly fighting each other like crazy. NOTE IF ANYONE FOUND THE PLOT WHOLE SAYING THIS IS ANIME AND DARK IS NOT ANIME IM ALLOWING IT EVEN THOUGH HES MANGA ONLY. So Dark could have Goku, Vegeta.etc characters. Hell i forgot some uber anime characters so i atcually serached it on google and i found something intresting....

Shinji from NGE at the end becomes the freaking god of everything "All universes" He can only use it for one power but yeah he basically has a single wish to DO ANYTHING. Since this is final form of everything, or current of animes and comics that havent finished. Shinji is the god of everything at the end.

I also found two uber characters called Lain and Eclair no idea who they are but they said they are at god-level. The fact that Silver surfer can make anything dosent mean he can always win. Unlike Anime superheroes and villians 90% of the time have a weakness. In anime 95% of the time the enemy has no weakness you just have to be "better" than them.

I'm pretty sure that most of Squall's Limits would rape MC. Blasting Zone would pretty much be undodge-able, since when its charged up, its so tall that it sticks off of the Earth.. The only problem with this move is the charging time.
Lionheart would definately kill him. I forget how many slashes that is, but its very fast - and being used after Renzokuken = dead MC.
Then there's Rough Divide and Fated Circle, though these moves aren't that useful unless he hits MC head on.
Like I said before, Squall shouldn't be here, it isn't fair for him.. unless MC decides to drop his guns and use that energy sword thing.. Vincent & Xigs won't be so kind though.

To give the poor weakest link M.C some help Energy Sword= One hit kill as it is in all halos.

This battle is harder than the Org vs Gotei, since the Espada are stronger than the Gotei. . .
I've been trying to avoid this thread, but it seems that can't be done. -_-"
Most of the XIII can use Shunpo-like moves btw; exceptions being Vexen, Zexion(?), and maybe Lexaeus.
Xemnas, Marluxia, Larxene, and Lexaeus would be the tough ones to beat for them though. Axel and Demyx aren't much for physical
strength, but their attacks are devistating. Zexion could simply trap a few of the weaker Espada in his book, but he's pretty weak altogether.
I don't read the manga, so I'm not sure of the power of most of the Espada, but if they're all stronger than most of the Gotei members, then I think they'd win, though it wouldn't be flawless or easy.

Yeah i was suprised by the fact that the Org had a very good chance aganist Gotei 13 so i thought why not go up a level?
Lol i just thought if the Org atcually won they would be in Aizens throne room only a few of them left alive, mostly Xenmas, Marluxa, Larxene then Aizen says: you bastard you killed by army. he gets up from his throne and Slices all their heads off instantly. but this is a joke im here for Real info

Battle Takes place in Hollow Bastion. Im not sure if Org can absorb power from Heartless but if they can they can do that.

I forgot all about Roxas, Sora's "other". Well, Sora can slice through buildings, and Roxas is somewhat stronger than Sora (it shows in their battle). Odd how I forgot him..
But wait.. Ichigo and Nell now? Is Ichigo with the Org, and Nell with the Espada? There's no point, the fight's already over. >.>

No Ichigo is on neither side because hes an uber berzerker but he has that ability to become more and more powerful over-time

{edit}BTW: The Org doesn't aborb the Heartless, but rather the hearts.

OMG! I forgot about Saix also. Wtf? Saix, Xemnas, & Xigbar would totally pwn most Espada.. And Xaldin.. now Roxas & Ichigo? Heh..

One last thing since you dont read the manga here is a summary of Espada powers

#10 Yammy- Unknown, But has powerful physical attacks and ceros
#9 Aaroneiro- Able to absorb attacks and use any of the absorbed attacks most notabaly he has absorbed Kaien Shiba and has complete control over water
#8 Syazel- Able to create devices that negate or reflect the powers ant attacks of the enemy. Able to create a rain that can create exact clones of the enemy. so far able to create 12 clones for one person.
#7 - Unknown possibly the old man
#6- Grimmjow Jaguerjeagues - Uses Powerful Ceros, Can transform into a panther-like arrancar. Becomes even faster than Vaizard Ichigo and can shoot multiple darts from his back a single one can destroy a whole skyscraper grows craws and is able to make a huge roar causing a sonicboom.
#5 - Nnorita Has a giant double-crecent scythe unknown powers but can slice though any defense. ability to stop chads power thrust (second form) without even trying.
#4 - Uliquorra Schifer- Already Faster than Vaizard Ichigo able to shunpo huge distances. can create huge slashes by merely snaping his fingers. Can deflect a bankai getsuga tenshou without trying. Unknown zanpaktou

Nell's with the Espada? You pretty much revived the fight... and made it more one-sided now. And if Nell's with the Org, then well.. *shrug*

When you mean most do you mean 10-6? more like 10-7 Grimmjow is pretty strong without even realsing his sword. Uliquorra can take on 3 Orgs at a time except Xenmas. im starting to think hes a Vasto his mask is exatcly like it.

Quit underestimating them, darnit! No way Grim can take on Saix, Xigbar, and Xaldin at the same time. And with Xemnas and Marluxia there.. also Roxas, Lexaeus, and Larxene.. Tch.

Demyx, Axel, Zexion, Vexen, and Luxord would be back-up. Demyx & Axel have a lot of large-range moves.

Now that I think about it, and remember the Org members.. They could win this if they're all fighting at the same time.

Zexion can trap people in books, Xigbar can teleport some to other areas, Luxord can turn them into dice/cards which would easily be destroyed.. Xemnas, Larxene, and Marluxia are faster than people realize, not to mention Xemnas & Marluxia's transformations.

Saix and Lexaeus are beasts that should NOT be underestimated. Roxas is pretty fast and powerful.

All they have to do is split up the Espada. #s 10 - 7 would go down in a minutes(20, tops). Grim is their first problem, but once the weaker Espada are taken out, they would have the number advantage. Add to that the abilities of Xigbar, which could seperate the already few Espada..

If they wanted, they could just have Xigbar transport Grim to a place where he'd have to fight all 13 members alone. He'd die, needless to say. Lather, rinse, repeat - though it'd get harder with Ulq.. but he definately can't take them ALL on.

If Xigbar teleports people around that dosent matter because all espada can use "i forget name" to transport them selves anywhere.

I doubt they're going to run and I doubt they'll have the chance because the Org can do it too (Corridor of Darkness), except faster.

Why would the Espada run? none of them are cowards. But when you mean faster? all the espada have to do is point their finger where they want to do it then drop it down.

I doubt they'd care enough about each other to try and stick together. Chances are, they'd try to fight them all by themselves.

We know Grim definately would, same for Yammy.. Ichigo would most likely go for the Espada members, since he knows and hates them. So naturally, a berserk Ichigo Vizard would gun for his natural enemies..

Water, eh? Demyx also controls water, and his attacks are far more devistating. He was probably the most annoying to fight because of the wide-range most of his attacks take up.

Vexen controls ice, so Demyx and Vexen together would be a nasty combo.
