Guys, while the filler does suck, it is a nessesary evil. before the filler started, the anime was right on the manga's butt. and it is only slowly gaining ground ATM. Those of you who hate the filler, stop watchign and come back in April, i guarentee it will get awsome again. (Sakura stops beign useless. Thats how good it is)

While i agree that the filler could be done alittle better, the anime creaters are very constrained in what they can do, they cant start teaching charecters new techniques (Hinata's thing amazed me hat they put it in) as it can end up not corrospond with the manga at all. I dont think they want to start making them backgrounds (thats Kishimoto's job)

so take these fillers with a pinch of salt, and wait for the series to get back on track. it will be a while, but it is very much worth it.

And Kyo, they have yet to say who that is. though there is alot of speculation.

yeh I have to agree with what has been said so far. Without knowing what happens through the Manga, the Anime is pretty boring. The anime starts off great in episodes 1-3, then it dies off into boredom. Black Cat being a dark, uncatchable rogue was a really cool idea, then they kill it by making him change his ways. I would've preferred the story starting from his childhood and his parents being killed to how he became an agent.

It is a shame that the anime got licensed already. I seriously hope it continues to be subbed. Unlike Bleach and Naruto; this anime is still quite young... thus its fanbase isn't exactly massive yet. Considering this, there may not be enough fans to help keep the anime distributed. Afterall... the anime doesn't even have an official webpage like Bleach or Naruto does. I wouldn't have even known of the series had it not been mentioned in these forums.

With any luck; it will continue like many anime have before it. The odds are against it though; as it has been licensed far too early in the series.

One of the best animes I've witnessed? Cowboy Bebop, Wolfs Rain, Furi Kuri, Trigun, Witch Hunter Robin, Hellsing, are a couple of my favorites. Im currently done with GunGrave and oh man was that awesome. I mean, Im a fan of mafia type genres, but that's just part of this anime. The major element of this anime is loyalty and friendship, add that to a mafia releated anime series and you'll get a kick*ss show. Pretty sweet...

Kikaider the animation is another piece of work I've enjoyed. To keep it short and simple, it's basicly a more darker version of Pinnochio. Very nice...

And let's not forget bleach. Im currently on episode 52/53 and from what I've seen so far, Im enjoying it a lot more then Naruto. Their's something so interesting in this that it get's me wanting more...

Cloud doesn't need to know Aeries well to fight for her, they spend almost everyday together travelling. and if Aeries didn't die, there will be no holy, lifestream etc at the last part to save the planet.

Onwuachi: same, i was realy surprised to see Manaka choose her at the last part of Ichigo 100%. i was kinda sad at that time.

i can't really think of happy moments that MADE me CRY. to tell you the truth, i have never been so happy in my life that i cry. perharps happy moments which kinda make me sad, i do, like the ending of Mai Hime, because i was just sad that it is gonna end and i don't get to watch new series of it and my favourite characters

I wasn't comparing the characters to Bleach. In fact, Bleach isn't even my favorite anime, so using that as an example of how totally wrong and opinionated I am is a little off. I also didn't say anything was wrong with stereotyping; characters in anime are AWAYS stereotyped, just not a blatantly as One Piece's characters.

The whole point of One Piece is concrete from the beginning; it doesn't build up, and it's hardly surprising, if at all. What I meant when I said the characters were "stereotypical", was that they're not very "loveable". Luffy, for instance. He's so stupid, he doesn't even seem sentient. He's just THERE, and it's awfully hard to care about characters like that. He doesn't have enough personality, and that just takes all the impact out of otherwise emotional events.

And The Going Merry..? :eek13: Wow. That's even worse than my first guess..'For Kids' did it justice by replacing all the guns with squirt guns, etc. It's practically kid's material. But that's just my opinion, and you don't have to flame me for it.

Everywhere I look,I see good reviews about it.I've seen the first ten episodes of it and quite frankly it sucks.It's firstly extremely badly drawn but anyway basicly the show is as follows:The 2 kids and Lisa are looking for their parents/boyfriend during teh first half of the episode then they get into trouble/are attacked by henchmen of the Count and then Kaze appears to save the day right at the 16 min mark of the episode.We then see a carboncopy shooting scene in which every episode they change the soil colors,dialogue,and summon.We're then treated to a form of epilogue and the credits.

Now this is basicly a walkthrough for the first 10 episodes (except one where he doesn't fire the damn gun). Is there something I'm missing here or?

Perhaps but c'mon,we know Square-Enix can do better,they (or atleast some obscure part of them) made Full Metal Alchemist.

Also,another complaint is the fact that the only real fun part is Kaze shooting the damn Ma Gun.And even that is badly done.It's mostly made out of CGI effects and completly scripted.

I watched the whole thing! Its ok... I mean, it gets worse around the end... Up until episode 26 I liked it... And the 'first' ending made perfect sense, but they just had to screw it by making a 'second' ending... Some of the characters were very interesting, an example would be Tsume...

It looks different to me. Hollow mask looks more like a skull/skeleton. Haku's mask looks like fox/Anbu type of mask. :)

god i think i saw the original astroboy and i hated it. Was like 5 years old when i saw it. And i am 17 right now haha but what got me hooked on anime was DBZ and Trigun. YuYu Hakusho isnt that bad either.

BTW Sunfire dont worry about it its ok that you like Dragon Ball I prefer that over Sailor Pussy Moon anyday. Damn Tuxedo mask... my mom calls me that when she likes to make fun of me...
