the classic?
well the classic was pretty good.
though they shoulda done something about Piccolo's storyline in DBZ.
cuz c'mon! the dude isn't even a whole being, even though he fused with Kami...he still isnt a whole being. Kami and King Piccolo spilt, not Piccolo Junior (remember when Goku beat/killed King Piccolo....King Piccolo spilt out an egg, that was Piccolo Junior). so therefore, Piccolo should be stronger than he really would be in DBZ

I've seen eps 1-45 I kinda got bored by the end cause it was right around the time the last 2 eps were being released and I read lots of spoilers and couldn't be bothered reading the rest.

Its a gerat anime though, Episode 7 had me wondering if it was gunna be as sick and twisted the whole way trhough, but its actually a nice anime, they get less freakier as they go along. The 'Rosie' chicken in episode 3 I think freaked me out the first time, now whenever I go to that Subserviant Chciken site it freaks me out cause it reminds me of it :P

This is an old anime but I only just finsihed watching it and I really liked it, action, darkness, story. I dunno if it'd be my favourite anime of all time but it is really good :D

Hellsing is a pretty awesome Anime, It's a shame there are only about 13 eps.
I've bought the entire DVD collection of it as a matter of fact. =D
some of Alucards history being revealed would of been nice, But it's still a pretty good anime.

Well, taking a guess I think he was a Vampire they captured. Judging from the fact that he was wearing a Straight Jacket when he was found. Something of a last line of defence for the Hellsing Corperation.

I dunno... Maybe they used to have someone like that Alexander Paladin working for Hellsing who did it... Maybe the Hellsing Manga has the truth but I don't have a clue where to find it.

Happy Lesson's pretty hilarious.. it's about this dude, Chitose. He's in high school and lives by himself in the house his parents left him when they died..

anyways, he ended up having 5 teachers adopting him to be his mother... crazy eh? :rolleye09

so yeah, he's got one mom that's pretty close to being more of a mom, I think
he's got one mom that's athletic
he's got one mom taht's scientific (she's got a lab under the house i think)
he's got one mom taht's a nurse and practices some exorcism, etc..
and he's got one mom that's hyperactive and deeply involved in arts and cosplays a lot (actually.. she looks younger than him and doesn't seem to act like a mom, more like a sister that shouldn't be there.. :LOL: )

Has anyone here seen Final Fantasy Unlimited? It's pretty damn awesome.
I'm getting the DVD collection (Already have DVD #1)
The story is that; 2 children, Ai, and Yu travel to "Wonderland" in search of there parents, And on the Train there they meet Lisa, a mysterious girl who can use Magic, and the Weilder of the demon gun, Kaze who's pretty kick ass.
It's set in the FF world, and even has Chocobos! ^.^

I'd recomend check it out, Even if your just downloading some eps.

I hear yea..... expect I bought all the dvd's and than the boxset came out... so i had to order the empty boxset's, and on top of that, I'm current with the manga. Volume 10 and on January 5th viz's online store is expected to have Volume 11 in stock >=)

Just out of Curiosity, do any of you know any good tutorials for making Anime music videos? I've got some ideas for some.
Sasuke - Story of the year: Until the day I die.
Mainly due to Sasukes pretty nasty past (What with Itachi killing of his entire clan in a bloody Massacre with the Sharigan.)
Edward Elric - Green Day: Boulvard Of Broken Dreams.
Since Ed can't seem to get a break, every time he gets near the Kenja No Ishida, It get's taken away from him, and what with his Mistake he created...
Orochimaru - Limp Bizkit: Eat You Alive.
I think "Eat you alive" suits Orochimaru pretty damn well lol

They said the series will end with the movie. Then again they said the movie would take place years after the end of the anime, but by the looks of the trailer, it looks to be an alternate universe or something *shrugs*

I shure hope not, I want it to tie up all the damn loose ends they made :( i want a satisfying ending this time XD

omg..i`M so sad =(..well coz I made this really awsome mv about kenshin with the song "love me when i`M gone" by 3 doors down. If you ever heard of them..listen to the song..it fits perfectly with kenshin!! dammit..ITS SOOO PERFECT..I even chosed the song by accident!! They did say ""Was the seperation and our pain a price in order to gain something?" So maybe it was a flashback, or they just alchemized everything back like it was. I sorta think it's a flashback since Ed did grow a bit in "our world" and Ed doesn't have that crappy looking auto-mail he created near the end of the series.

Apparently the movie is set 7 years after the series, but at the end of the series their is a 7 year jump.. or something like that so is it 14 years... or just a continuation of that first 7 year jump.. if so then its kinda continuation.

If theris was a 2nd season I'd probably watch the rest of the first season, but from what I've read I know enough not to bother... plus I watched 51 RAW :P

indeed a realy good anime series, i watched most of the tv series on belgian TV (yea i'm belgian) but i downloaded it so i can watch in it japanese, i saw the movie in japanse on TV and got totaly cought in it. i don't think there is a lot of rouroni kenshin i havn't seen yet

i started seeing these a few years ago, back when i had a 8 gig hard drive, and those episodes where MASIVE, about 150 mbytes so it was a bit too big, tough i saw about 5.

It's a nice anime tough, but not worhty of wearing the name Final Fantasy (like the First final fantasy movie) it has a few FF elements but it's just not the same quality as the rest of the FF games

offcorse i only saw a few episodes so i might be wrong :)

well after episode 61 there's no point to watch the series cuz they are not inspired from the manga.

If you loved the anime series you should read the manga cuz in the manga there's Jinchuu Arc (the most important arc of the Ruroken)

Because Viz doesn't tend to add the extra "u" at the end of long sounds. Either they put an accent, or just leave it. Kinda like how they spell Uryuu "Uryu", or Kankurou "Kankuro"

I have heard great things about this anime from all my friends... I was considering purchasing it. What about Samurai X is it the same thing or is this better?

Samurai X is an inaccurate tag added to the OVA's of Rurouni Kenshin (I mean, the guy was never a samurai, he was an assassin. BIG differance). The first OVA (entitled Samurai X:Trust & Betrayal over here) is a prequel to the Kenshin anime, & I think there're a couple sequel ones too.

Anyways, I do enjoy Kenshin as well, but to be completely honest I've only seen the first 10 episodes or so & own only vol. 1 of the manga (I'm foscuing more on colelcting Negima & Tsubasa, as Delrey is a far better translation group than Viz). There's such a huge contrast between the Kenshin of T&B & of the series...

you dont HAVE to see Trust and Betrayal before you see the anime but ou should see the anime BEFORE you watch Reflections..and yes reflections is the sequal :/ here is what is out...

Reflections will spoil tha anime..it is just one big spoiler really imo if you dont watch the anime....

Thanks alot Destiny for telling me more about Kenshin. It would make sense to watch the prequel before the anime but viewers of the TV series already know Kenshin’s past was dark and violent. Not only does the prequel perfectly illuminate the history of an established protagonist, it is a fascinating and emotional character study in its own right(I got that from a review) Soo basically its all about his past but like you said you dont HAVE to see Trust and Betrayal before you see the anime but once you see the first series: Wandering Samurai you may want to find out more about Kenshin's past.

Trust and Betrayal is basically him as the Battosai and how he got his cross shape scar :P

Synposis:- When Kenji was a child, he and his friends made up fantastic adventures, where a terrorist would wreak havoc upon the world and how they would stop them.
Fast forward to present day where Kenji's band failed and now he works at a convenience store. He takes care of his niece because his sister suddenly vanished after being involved in a peculiar cult.
Things change when one of his childhood friends supposedly commits suicide and when terrorist attacks begin to occur in exactly the way that Kenji and his friends imagined them to. It all somehow seems to be tied into this new cult.
The only explanation Kenji can think of is that one of his childhood friends is the mastermind behind the terrorism. Kenji feels responsible for the disasters though because the majority of the evil plans were originally his ideas. And what's the link to his missing sister? Can Kenji and his friends save the world for real?
Why you recommend it:- STORY, STORY, STORY. This manga has an amazing plot that will get you intagled with it in no time. Its quite confusing at first, but once you understand whats going on (by the 3rd volume) you will fall in love with it. Has so many twists and turns, once you think youve got the story figured out a new twist by Urasawa makes you relaize how much you dont know.Characters personality and development is very well down, though the desgins can make it a tad bit weak at times.

I love Trigun, I agree it can be kinda dull but its an excellent all round anime, and Vash is so funny... I've only seen 6 episodes so far but I'm watching the rest now :P I have no idea how Vash can have a $$60 Billion bounty on his head, guess I'll find out later in the series :D

I personally find Naruto really boring, its like 117 episodes long, and nothing really happened :/ Its just "Ooooo look a bad guy, better learn some new powerful move that 100 year old amsters can't but I'm a 12 year old kid so I can" :/

do you play RPG's? the battle system is alot like Chrono Cross but with the abilty to make special moves with different combos and such. also with the ability to get in mechs and battle with them too :toocool: and there are No Random battles

the only problem with it is Pacing some of the cutscenes are over 45 minutes long (they look really really badass though) and some have save points between them and kindof a Cliffhanger ending but the second game should be out in the Fall in the US

EDIT: if you ment the Story I think you would there is lots of Mech combat and the Story is really good

You can download files individually from a big bundle with a program like azureus or bitcomet, try one of those.

Well if uv only read chapter 1 and 2 you should keep going. I thought this manga had one of the slowest starts but it quickly turned into great manga

I like the manga a bit more than the anime though. I have up to vol 10 currently, read the scanlations AAAGES ago XD

But yea, Viz changes the whole "ou" and "uu" bit. They kept all of Kenshin's attack names the same, yet they changed Anji & Sanosuke's Futai No Kiwami T__T

Wow how can you not like downloading Anime for free?. I do only to view more Animes and if I come across 1 a really like I buy it. I downloaded the Kenshin OAV Trust, only the first 2 episodes though, I need the other 2.

If you havent seen any of Macross Zero or anything Related to Macross then go and get some epsiodes i Order you to do that.

Macross Zero [Episode Number goes here] Has great Animation, things sort of look very Realistic especially in the Airial Combat scenes with Shin or Roy Focker.
Ther first scene in Episode one is a Jet Plane getting ready to take off and it loks abosolutley amazing.

So what do you guys think?
