Reading the news on bleachportal.net makes me very mad. Bleach Portal's staff works their butts off for us...as a FREE service...and yet these ungrateful specks of dirt keep yelling at them asking for more and more. If anything goes wrong, these pests don't say "Darn, it's down...I'll check back later. It's sure nice of them to work so hard," but instead they say, "DAMN U I WONT MY MEDIA! DARN MTHRFCKRS GIMME MY BLEACH, BIOTCH". Someone, tell me how this is right -.-

Most of these people probably don't even contribute to the community and they're acting like they own the place...they should be smacked :whatevah:

Well honestly i think that this kind of peoples are just lazy ass kids that just recently got their net connected and they think that bleach portal has a duty of giving them media .....its normal for this kind of sites... on my lets say home forum there lots of peoples that are flaming news about broken download some problems with servers blah blah they keep braggin endlessly and in fact they are just a bunch of cowards afraid to register themself so they post as guest. Its a pitty that this wont change i think cos the purpouse of this site is being public opend ; p and i doubt that people will learn some respect for the peoples that are supplyin them with bleach...

Well, even if you don't say anything after you download, you should at least feel a little appreciation for them, ya know? There are people on almost every forum I see going "OMG DO ANY1 NO WHER I CAN DOWNLOAD ___???? I GOTTA HAV IT!!! SUM1 PLS!!!!". -.-

people get too comfortable on the internet. some stay uptight no matter what, but when it comes to sites like this, people think that they are god and that unholy lunatic and chihiro do nothing else in their lives but run this site. i would like to personally beat these people with a bat (or similar) for thinking that unholy and associated have no life outside of BP/CB and need to either leave or wake up.

I would say it would probably be better if there was a minimum post requirement to download from the site, but then the leechers, as people like to say, will just go somewhere else to download their stuff. But, on the other hand, there's a chance people will actually go and post stuff, and the forums will prolly get more members and posts, hmm?

So im thinking anyways.

Either that, or they would just spam up the forum to get enough posts to download. (Also, the forum's and site's user databases are not tied into each other.)

People often just go to www.bleachforums.com because thats the first one they find. Once people are in a certain forum, they dont go to other forums of the same nature. And whiners are very so ****ing annoying. Especially the ones who are big ****ing pussies in real life, so they get over it by shitting on other people over the internet.

I never been there either, but I have to say that this is one of the best forums that I've joined. ^^

As for the leachers, no matter what anyone does people like that will still complain. If you block the leachers and make a post count necessary to download all the 8 year old (maturity level) leachers will only email all the staff with nasty letters filled with death threats and the like. The internet does things to people. o.O

Anyway. It is because of leechers that I'm giving my site, Trust (http://http://trust.toko-aiyoku.net), away. I keep finding people who direct link and only download the multimedia. I get over 200 visitors a day (which is a lot for me) but no one leaves any feedback. It's REALLY discouraging to site owners when people only steal your multimedia and don't care about the site itself.

You have to lock it so they become members to download and set the limit to 5 downloads a week. make up some reason from there are to many leechers etc.
On my site, i used to put up 1 song every 2 weeks. and had the most annoying music ever, you could only get rid of the music if you were a member. lol i was so crual, but my site was 4 FREE! lol

as a staff member of a manga scanlation group, i have to say that leechers are definitely not new to the online world... anonimity and convenience help spread the leech-ness. very uncool.

Staff/Hosts provide media because they like the media, and want others to appreciate it. They are under no obligation to release media, nor do they enjoy the pressure about, HEY, WHY is xxx not working?? or WHEN are the releases coming out / being fixed? Those WHEN and WHY questions push buttons. it's a HOBBY and not a JOB. ok? So suppress those inner yearnings of being a pesty leech. if you're going to be a leech, be a silent one and just learn to appreciate what's available. After all, it's FREE, you have nothing to lose. GOT IT?

Staff/Hosts: limitations and regulations will always reduce complaints.

Perhaps bleachportal should move their media to an irc channel... then you can manage members and control them better... (i.e. kick/ban/blacklist)...

And to those silent ones who prefer not to join communities, rembmer, you CAN be supportive by being thoughful... a *thank you* *keep up the good work* etc is always encouraging!!
