Who shall win the battle royal between 2 of the greatest metal bands ever to be heard? Iron maiden's kick ass high pitched rifts or mega deths low thumping heavy metal melody! if u like both then click BOTH :)

Iron Maiden is the better of the two in my personal opinion. But really the two types of music, metal genre wise the two bands play is so different it really comes down to what genre of metal does one prefer.

IMO I put megadeath. I just find my self listening to it more than Iron maiden when I ake my selection

I personally think that iron maiden is better but i love mega deth too like alot of their songs such as hangar 18 and symphony of destruction but iron maiden has all around much better songs than megadeth.

Iron Maiden for me. I'm not generaly a fan of Metal, But Iron Maidens grate guitaring, tunes and poetic lyrics make them one of my all time fave bands!

Megadeth for sure, they were the first real metal band I got into.

But what about Megadeth vs. Metallica? I really think thats the real battle.

Megadeth is exceptionally good, but I am also going to go with Iron Maiden.

(since I <3 "Brave New World", "Lord of the Flies", "Run to the Hills", "Powerslave", "Children of the Damned", "The Trooper"... etc.)

I have only heard one song by iron maiden, number of the beast. Is that similar to their other songs? That song has to be one of the worst I have ever heard. It instantly turned me off to the band.

Is the children of bodom song, "The trooper", similar to the iron maiden one?
