How am I supposed to pla such a "awesome game" when all it wants to do is scare me :( I mean, how can I run around shooting stuff when every three seconds I get a random dead person flash, or stuff randomly flying or random sound effects for no apparent reason, then that stupid girl appears and the random controls go more random like wtf, I just want to kill stuff, stop making things wacky and scary!!!

Can someone please explain to me why little girls with black, straight hair hanging down in front of their faces is so damned scary? Everytime I see little girls on the street, I scream and run away to safety...

F.E.A.R is as awesome as games come though, but you shouldn't play it if you have a weak heart!

I didn't find it too scary. Though that stupid little girl who keeps randomly appearing can get annoying, but not a huge shock factor really.

i used to play fear but got pissed off cuz that fu**ed up little girl kept scaring me all the time (i play with my headphones on in the middle of the night,usually). Looks like i have to start playing counterstrike since theres no spooky things, just plain kill 'em all stuff where no thinking is needed.

For useless killing and highly unnecessary ways of killed people, i suggest playing the Punisher. Althought the game is probably only 12$ now, its.......satisfying...

And God of War. OMG, that game..........so much blood.......ive ripped i nhalf many a zombie. Then when u want health you press O near a civilian and he grabs them, and tears there stomach open, over, and over, and over......

I played this game once at a friend's, was cool, the only problem was that for some reason the voices didn't work...wich weally took away a lot of the Suspense

i suggest Prey for the PC or x360 which is comin out on july 10th. which is like in 3 days.

Saw the trailers, videos, etc. for it. Seems like a pretty good gun-happy game to me. Of course, I heard that people turned a bit green (like about to puke) due to the good graphics.

OMFG this game is so scary... I used to live in the boarding house (jst finish sch, yea!!!) and therefore loads of ppl are there... this guy was playing it until 11pm at night and apparently smethng appaered... he actually scream, i was living more than 3 corridors away and could still hear him!!!

the other one is, i was in the libary at abt 12 at night working with my friends when this guy comes in, sweating looking pretty shocked, whispering to the guy working with me who happens to be the owner of the computer which this guy was playing on "uninstall that game NOW!!! I wont be able to go to sleep for the nxt week" he didnt sleep for the nxt two days and read comics all night to keep himself sane... XDXD

As for me, I didnt find it that scary just a lil annoying on the times that girls keeps on appearing. If your that "weak," deffinitely play this in broad day with sunshine on you and with a couple friends because yea if you get scared easily, you will deffinitely scream.

yea but the action is just awsome, when your not dealing with the scary RING looking girl and just fighting the zombie clone army, the killing is just uberly fun

i admit the AI and the graphics are very good, indepentdent thinking and gruesome action... (try slide tackling a body, the sound it makes... yikes!!!)... oh dear...

Am I the only one who thinks that F.E.A.R is a bit overated? And the graphics weren't too good either, they were kinda outdated, to me it was.

/me has been playing F.E.A.R and quite frankly I don't see why I'm bothering, sure the battles are fun, but overly stratagising sometimes... just ruins the point of a fps, I mean thats what RTS was for.

:( :( Now this game does shit me up, it was all going fine until that one level where you have too go into the dark, scary air vents. Then when you walk round the first corner wot happens yes that girl comes rushing at you on her hands and knees (i hate that shit):eek:i emptied a clip at her before i realised i could not kill her (but i will never forget it).
But then my mate played it and nothing, was not scared at all i think its all to do with wot scares you. Like im the kind of person that get shivers when i see the girl for the ring:p: , or any of those Japanese movie characters. Yet films like wrong turn don’t bother me at all.
But i think its a great game but i just cant play it anymore. Tried to the other day but then that creepy sound effect played and just thought no way i can’t be arsed to scream like a girl anymore.

I found F.E.A.R. to be just a random FPS game. It has rather good graphics and can scare the shit out of young players(like my brother. I still laugh about that.) but besides that it doesn't have much. The Nail Gun is pretty frickin sweet though.

F.E.A.R. is scary shit... well i dont know. When that girl comes up I get a shake in the ass and a very wide eye, not screaming actually. What i really like is the the bullet time... you know the slow motion thingy. Excellent!

If you want some horror in games, then I suggest getting FEAR. Though I didn't like this game too much.

the expansion pack is out on the 27th or something like that, looks amazing tbh. The first game wasnt really that scary tbh, i was just annoyed i couldnt shoot the wee lassie and get it over with :P

It actually plays as one of the best FPS out there atm. I cant think of a game in the last 6 months that comes close to it tbh (excluding episode 1 of course).
