He's cocky and always wants to look cool when he should just finish it! (Byakuya vs him, he could've killed Byakuya easily because Bya underestimated him)

Depends what you think a poser is. Ichigo just talks to much. If he'd fight 75% as good as he talks.. he would've beaten Byakuya without even getting an injury. (due to Byakuya underestimating him)..

I really like his character becuase he's always looking out for his family and friends, making sure that they're okay and nobody's harmed. He keeps his feelings to himself, always showing the world what a tough guy he is, and is never afraid to speak out. He is loud and obnoxious sometimes, but works hard to make his actions speaks as big as his words... though I do agree that his persistance and taunting can get a little tiring... ^.="

hi all! i joined this fc a little while ago but haven't really posted yet. anyway...
i think ichigo can be a bit of an idiot sometimes. but i love him anyway! and he does have moral values and stuff. like the whole speech he made about why big brothers are born first - that was so cute ^_^ - i wish my big brother was like that! and i agree that he lets his actions speak more than his words.

Why do I like Ichigo's charactre? Because I like the antri-hero type more than the hero type. For example, I prefer Kyo from Samurai Deeper Kyo to Goku from DBZ. Ichigo, like Kyo, is rough, powerful, and may appear cold-blooded and uncaring.

In truth, he is kind, thoughtful, etc. etc., but he hides it. Ichigo, is, of course, a combination of a hero and an anti-hero types, which makes him different from most other main-characters, by not being the stereotypical type of character (this applies to most characters in Bleach - they aren't the usual stereotypes they seem to be. Inoue isn't the usual unsocial girl with big boobs, Tatsuki isn't your usual killer tomboy, and Matsumoto isn't the huge-boobed random girl).

Moreover, I tend to like characters who truly care for every one of their friends and yet hide it (Vegeta, for example).

i think what i like most about ichigo is willingness to protect the people he cares about. Ichigo is strong, stubborn, and full of pride, he is someone to admire and to look up too. Also ichigo's personality is common with many young teenagers today.

I love Ichigo's character...he's my favorite in Bleach, but he hasn't yet to really affect me in real life.

As you can see I've used three Ichigo avatars already sinced I joined ^^

His character is hard to explain, he's logical, but yet ruthless in battle. He's serious but does many silly things. I think his dark side appeals to me alot too. Especially when he is a really good-hearted person, having to battle with his dark side.
