i feel called to fall
today and tomorrow
i can only see me
and before i was called
i did not stand
when did i stand?
did i ever?
accustomed to falling
it is what i do
accustomed to hurting
will i hurt tomorrow?
will my cycle ever begin anew?

i can stand
will i?
i can be complete
will i complete me?
when i don't depend
then i can love
will i wait?
how strong can i be?
strong enough to wait?
how far will i go?
before i lose all of me?

will i stop myself?
on your front porch
will i stay my hand?
refuse to knock
will i be strong?
face to face
will my heart waver?
spring my own trap

i will stand

most of my poetry is quite unstructured. i typically use freeform because i am a very random person. when i do structure i tend to use one i created myself, or at elast i've never seen anyone else use-
