V-bulliten help

I had just gotten my forum up and running when after a bit I got this message in my email:
Link-ID == false, connect failed


I keep getting that and am not sure how to fix it. If anyone could tell me that would be great, also figured I'd post this here since vb's main site is down.

I tried re-uploading the files but that wasn't the problem.

your database server is probebly down or failing, please post the entire error or send me a PM (i have been working with Vbulletin for over 5 years now)
