Not much known so far, but Urahara, Ikkaku, & Grand Fisher will be in the sequel. I doubt Grand Fisher is playable though.

Wow, I have a lot to say about this :redbiggri

First, welcome to the boards and thanks for the info :winking56 made my day. Was quite shocked at first but after a bit of digging I found its in the latest Famitsu magazine. Lots of people were nay-saying a sequel as Treasure is really not known for making them, even for really successful games (I think Guardian Heroes was the only other IP theyve sequel-ised). This is great news though, any idea on a release date?

Also, as the first had everything + the kitchen sink character wise, I should imagine this will follow the newest manga arc (also great news) and introduce a ton of new characters. But at the same time, for this reason, I don't see it coming out til Christmas. Just a guess.

The release date for Japan is winter 06 right now. The game's first 28 characters will return and there will be more, they did not say how many more though. There will also be a new Situation Mode where you fight the Hollows, this is the mode Grand Fisher appears in. This new mode is a beat-em-up mode that plays similar to Treasure's other game Guardian Heroes.

i hope in the increase of moves cause hollow ichigo in the 1st one was just ichigo but white i mean i was expecting like a hollow bankai or something

The important thing about this I think is that they keep the style the same. As long as the button combinations are similar then I'm fine. New elements are a must of course but as long as the core essentials are similar then it's all dandy.
