This is an acual event that took place at a called Naruto and Bleach Mania.

What you are about to read is solid fact about one of the biggest mysteries of the past week and a bit. All people and places mentioned are fictional (as the internets don’t really exist o.o).

Chapter 1 – The Suspicious Mod
Planes logged on to Naruto Mania one fine afternoon. After many minutes of mindless reading and posting he found Rachel. She was spamming in the 155,304 post thread as usual when she caught site of a Mod. Krozar strolled in with his new siggy.

Rachel knew something was wrong. She looked into the Abortion = Killing thread. She made an attempt at piecing this together and decided that the answer lay hidden in the third post of the thread. It didn’t match. Rachel then started thinking about the word “creator” and one persons name came to mind,
“KAKASHI!” she sc reamed silently, her reason being that he was the creator of the forum. She began to scan the thread for the third post made by Kakashi. It didn’t match.
~meanwhile~
Planes was talking on MSN when Rachel’s window popped up.
“Hey Planes” She said cheerfully, with a hint of frustration.
“Hey Rachy” He replied.
“Do you think I should make a thread about Kroz’s siggy?” She asked. Planes, having only briefly seen the seemingly Kingdom Hearts siggy replied,
“Sure, why not”. Rachel then decided to confront Krozar in a public forum. She made a thread about his sig. Krozar simply replied,
“I don’t know what you are talking about”. The fact that Kroz had failed to mention anything about buttsecks or loli struck Planes as rather odd.
“Something is up” Said Rachel, “and I have to go now…bye Planes” and she logged off.
Chapter 2 – A code?!?!?!1
Rachel’s paranoia, confirmed by Kroz’s shifty behavior, had become Planes’s paranoia. He began to think of possible reasons Rachel could be so worked up and decided to take another look at Kroz’s sig. His common sense immediately saw why Rachel had failed in her quest.
“The creator of the thread” He thought, “Salman…” Planes scanned the thread for Salman’s third post. He eventually found it on page three. Planes found an interesting edit by a certain mod down the bottom

“Rachel was right” Thought Planes. This was no accident or coincidence. This was a conspiracy. Where will it lead me? How deep did it go? How long can I last without going to the bathroom? These were all questions that went through Planes’s mind as he decided to try his luck at this code/scavenger hunt. He began to think carefully about the clue, especially the calculator reference. “BOOBS!” screamed Planes. While he was in primary school Planes had recalled spelling out a few words using calculator numbers, and then turning them upside down to see the word in all its glory. BOOBS was the most common one spelt using 58008. It didn’t take Planes long to work out that the number for hell would be 1134.
Chapter 3 – Assistance arrives
Planes clicked on a random user and brought up their public profile. He went up to the link and changed the numbers on the end to “1134” and pressed the Enter button. The profile of a user named “Diablo” came up. Something interesting was displayed in the user’s sig area:
This is an oddity I found some time ago.
As kids most of us punched "1134" into a calculator to spell "hell" upside down.
The fact that this user's name is Diablo (Satan) and has the user ID of 1134 is a pure coincidence.
It's one of those interesting secrets of NM, But; that's not really the issue here.
The next key lies in the user "DEBIL", let the informatTion in this clue guide you.

“DEBIL” thought Planes, as he brought up another window. In the new window he brought up the member search function. He typed in “DEBIL” and hit the Enter key with a furious roar. No results. “Damn” he muttered and brought the window with the clue back up. “Let the information in this clue guide you…” he repeated. He began to think about the information in the clue. “Diablo and in brackets Satan”. He began to think about possible alternate names for DEBIL. “DEBIL…DE…BIL….DE..BIL…DEVIL?!?!” Planes had a thought. He brought up the other window and performed a search on “DEVIL”. Three results. Planes checked them. Nothing in any of them. “What else could DEBIL mean”, he said frustrated. He decided to perform a Google search, except on Altavista. One particular result intrigued him:

“A Debil is a Bunyip?” said Planes very confused. He brought up the member search window and typed in “bunyip”. No results. Planes was about to say something very bad when an MSN window popped up. “Superbob” Planes said and clicked the window. He said “Hey Bob, busy?”
“No why?” He replied.
Planes updated him on all the info up to his current clue.
“Wow”, Said Bob in astonishment.
“Any theories”, Asked Planes.
“Well…firstly there is no user called DEBIL”, He said after quickly doing a member search.
“I know that”, replied Planes, “I’ve already tried that”. Planes thought about the calculator thing again. He ran through what all the letters would be in numbers. “It doesn’t work”, He concluded, “There is no number for D”.
Bob, who apparently had the same idea, took some time thinking about it. After about 15 minutes of mixed posting, watching TV and thinking about the clue he said:
“Got it” and posted a link to Planes. It was a link with the numbers 71830.
“Zero…”, Planes mumbled realizing his stupidity.
Chapter 4 – The Clue Keeper O.o
Planes clicked on the link and it brought up a user named Deamon with another peculiar siggy:
The fact that this user is a "deamon" is stranger still! This is not an admin trick, it is one of those secrets of Narutomania.
You are one of the few to discover this fact, if you are indeed the first person to lay eyes on this sig, then that means you are the second person to know this secret; not even a single admin knows of this at the time of writing this clue.
For discovering the ancient Da Narutomanian Code you have been met with rewards. However, far greater rewards await you further down your path.
There is a place where one may upload their digital works. The clue keeper ATOBE screams from the large mass of his peers.

“Rewards eh?” Was the first thing to go through Planes’s mind followed by “None of the other admin know? Bullshit”.
“Looks like the next clue points somewhere in the gallery” (Users on Narutomania have various galleries they may upload pictures into), Said Bob, obviously having not thought about the pointless things Planes was thinking. They both set forth to the gallery. “I’m not sure where to find it”, Said Bob puzzled. Planes had clicked on member galleries and soon realized his mistake. He frantically clicked the back button and returned to the gallery’s main page. There he saw a section named Digital Artworks. He clicked on it and the first photo he saw was called “ATOBE VECTOR”.
“Bingo” Planes thought and clicked on the picture:

“Holy See’s Square”, said Planes puzzled.
“Where the hell is that?” Thought Bob. “Religious section?” He went into Religious Debates. Nothing stood out for him.
“The –look up- part is pissing me off” said Planes. He performed a search for thread with the words: Holy, See and Square. Four results. One was the original Abortion = Killing thread, another a Final Fantasy XII thread, an Israel and Palestine thread and finally an FMA2 walkthrough thread. There’s no way Planes was going to go through the Abortion thread and the other three seemed irrelevant. After 30 or so minutes of struggling with this clue Bob announced:
“I need to go to bed”.
“Ok…” Planes reluctantly replied.
Before Bob left he put all of the clues into a notepad and sent them to Rachel, in the hope that she would have more luck with the hunt she started than they did.
Planes wasn’t about to give up yet. In desperation he sent a PM to Batsy asking her about NM’s own little world and the Holy See’s Square. The reply came back saying:
No idea what you're talking about... :crazy:
No luck there. “Look up” he kept repeating. Suddenly an idea came to mind. At the top of the photo there was a Deviantart link. He quickly went to the Arts and Graphics section and looked for a thread that may have a connection to Deviantart. He spotted two stickies with the titles “About DA linking” and “Online art galleries”. After going through the two pages of each thread and coming up with nothing Planes decided that he was tired and logged off. His last idea for the night had failed him.
Chapter 5 – Awakening
Rachel woke up and instantly turned her computer on, anxious to find out anything new about the shifty Krozar. She saw a PM from Bob, containing mind blowing information about what had been discovered in her absence. She followed all the tracks properly and finally came to the Atobe clue. By this time Bob was on and subsequently probing Krozar about all of this. Krozar was dodging questions left and right, but leaving a few unhelpful clues. During all of this Rachel clicked on Googlemap (Googlemap is a feature on the Narutomania toolbar where User CP and Arcade and all that is) quite unintentionally and found a map. “ZOMG” she thought, “Could this be it?!”. Bob had given her the idea that the Holy See’s Square was literally the Pope’s square or St Peter’s Sqaure. Rachel knew where these were and saw a yellow ballon over Italy. She clicked on it.

Rachel had accidentally stumbled upon the answer to the clue that both Planes and Bob had failed to find. The “-Look up-“ she had decided, meant the Googlemap feature. “Shifty bastard…” muttered Rachel under breath. She told Bob about the clue and they both set off to find Krozar’s location. They both went to the lounge and found on of Krozar’s posts.
Enlightened ones have come full circle: Make thread in the Lounge titled with the numbers of wisdom.
Rachel and Bob gathered up the numbers. They were 481982. Rachel made a thread with that title stating that the code had been broken and acknowledged the three who had broken it.

That day when Planes got home from school and signed on he was instantly bombarded with an IM from Bob stating that the code was broken. Planes couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed that it was broken while he was away. Bob then said something quite interesting,
“Kakashi said it was too easy so we don’t get any prizes or anything”.
Planes had an intense feeling that he had wasted a lot of precious time the night before. He thought about how Rachel, Bob and himself had struggled with the clues and felt a deep sense of injustice.
“So” Bob continued, “Krozar is going to make another bigger and harder code so that the winners of that one get a prize.”
“What about the winners of this one?” Planes thought.
“So we will just have to break that one” Bob said confidently.
“At least among the three of us we can cover a lot of time zones” Planes said.
“We should have gotten something” Rachel said, unwilling to let it go.
“Yeah, but what can you do?” Bob replied.
“That’s it…I’m writing a book” Planes announced.
