Is the psp for more mature people? I think so, because Nintendo target for the younger gamers and...In my opinion the Psp is for like the teenager/adult gamers...What is your opinion on the matter! :doindadom :headbang:

Well psp looks cooler in my opionion i trust sony more than Nintendo but i dont think it should be branded this way ;p im not into games too much nowdays but if im not wrong on nintendo systems most games are some kind of adventure games with lots of jumpin ;p atleast that my stereotype for nintendo and if im gonna buy one of them that will be psp for 100 % but the choice of others peoples will depend mostly on the type of games they like to play ;d

the PSP targets an older, more mature audience and it shows with the multitude of options that the PSP offers. MP3 player, Movie player, access to the internet were all designed for the older player in mind.

Also, take a look at the games for the PSP. Most of them are made for the late teenager/adult in mind. You'll see few, or almost zero, kiddy games for the PSP, but quite a lot for the Nintendo DS.

More so, the way the Nintendo DS is built just screams kids. You can blow on it(really, in a game, you blow on your DS to put out virtual flames) and touch it, those are things kids do, not older gamers.

i think the PSP is defentily for the older crowd. Nintendo has always been for kids, and they probably will never change that

I don't think Sony intends to make the PSP for one group more than the other. But I think with the $250 price tag, it is more accessible to adults than the younger audience. Until the price drops, I don't think there will really be a focus on games for the younger group, seeing as how they're already less likely to own the system.
