Check to see if its overheating, or your power supply is inefficient to your new video card.

the problem is that it did that with my old card too.. actually it has always done that..

Did you update your video card driver by the way? I know you changed your video card but try that anyway.

If the problem still persists, then you must have a corrupt system file. By restarting, does the whole program shut down and restart on its own or does the computer rebbot itself?

i'm inclined to agree with DB if your power supply was low wattage changing card would not help. RAM should not be the problem that causes restarts.

Its still amuses me that WC3 and TFT were games of the previous years and yet it still feeds on your RAM like crazy. I had that problem when my RAM was 256, afterwards i changed it to 512 and the problem was gone... And to think the system requirement for TFT is Minimum: 128 and Recommended: 256
I just love the game :p

i know i did the same but it didnt work.. :(
@Thunderbolt: it restarts only and it does that like everytime while im in warcraft.. and about the drivers.. i changed the graphic card so this shouldnt be the matter..
@dragoneyes: come on.. on both cards? even if this is it, i should check it anyway..

thing about power is if you have too little to begin with changing card won't change that you have too little.

what is the power supply you have 300, 350, 400, 450watt or larger?

if you want to test your GC to see if its not getting enough power just load it with a couple programs running that push its limits.
use WMM to view a video clip and run another video on a media player in windowed mode this should tax your system more than any game.
if they shut down you probably have a power problem.

Tip for future: You might also want to post some system specs along with your problem. Knowing exactly what you are running gives everyone a better idea of a problem.

Agreed. So, do you know your brand and watt of your power supply?

i tried that with 3 players and the 4th could open probably from my ram.. and it didnt do any restarts..

@Nihsnek: i thought i didnt have to do that cause my pc can handle games with more qualifications than that..
@DB: sorry i dont..

Hmm... you said you had wc3 and TFT for a long time right? So has this problem started ever since?

have you tried to re-install the games?

it no longer seems to be power but possibly a bad file. or a corupt driver but thats less likely since you'd get more universal failures.

If nothing worked, did you try reinstalling the game like people suggested? I'll try that first.
