What annoys you while using the internet

Got this idea from a poll from my main ISP, so I'll like to see your opinions about this and discuss about it. So what really annoys you while your using the internet?

For me its a slow connection. I have limited patience and I cannot stand having a slow connection.

Second is having malware and viruses.

So discuss about what ticks you off while using the internet.

You can only vote for one option, and that option is what really pisses you off.

for me…it’s the popups and yesterday CB was acting weird and to post it took forever…..
also some of it may be the freak show people that want to you know rape people and stuff so im careful…
btw…slow connection is not a problem for me though..

First for me is slow connection...i can only wait for so long till i get bored and close the window. And second is popup windows..their so dam annoying >.<, and some of them screw up my computer...

i voted for the pop-up windows because they are very annoying and even with pop-up blockers installed in our computer, some are still able to get through!! i'm already used in having a slow connection so it doesn't bother me anymore.. ;)

Yeah, I installed this popup blocker, I have SP2 IE6 and use Mozilla Firefox and some popups are able to bypass the filter, which is annoying. At least they aren't so annoying as a slow connection.

I remembered when I was using Windows 98 with dialup, that was bad. I used IE and encountered a lot of spyware and popups. Same with XP, but since I've upgraded to SP2 and used Mozilla Firefox I hardly encounter any spyware or viruses. Mozilla Firefox rules.

i had slow connection for a couple of years.. so i am not rly pissed from it.. i kinda got used to it..
thank god though that SP2 and firefox are here and they stop most the pop ups but to download from megauplaod i use IE so i voted for popups too!

I don't particulary have any problems with my internet...but if I had to choose it would be spam. I dont have any problems with pop ups or viruses/spyware. Never disconnects and is fast :P. So just spam.

ooh, tough choice...but I'm gonna have to go with viruses,spyware,etc. cuz those can cause sudden pop-ups, slow connection, etc.
And I also have this anti-virus program that asks if u want to delete this virus,etc. every time I get attacked. So that's pretty annoying. Haven't got the chance to figure out telling it to do things automatically yet.

Random disconnections. They leave me steaming when it happens. Luckily it doesn't happen very often these days, but just because I said it now means that I'll get D/Ced soon. I have a bad habit of jinxing myself too often =/.

Viruses and spyware/malware: have a constantly updated AV, spyware, and malware, scanners, i havent had any in atleast 6 months, along with my firewall.
Annoying popup windows: I run firefox, with a few custome extentions and codemonkey, so, i only get pop-ups from sites i allow, ie mine, and a couple forums i visit.
Slow connection: I have really quick cable internet, so my connection is quick, although it does get annoyning when im trying to download something, either via ftp, http, p2p, or bittorrent, and im getting something from someone/some people, with slow connections
Spam: all my email addresses are from my web-host, which i also work for, and i have spam assassian set to strict, so i havent recieved a spam emailin my inbox in as long as i can remember
Random disconnections: same as speed, my cable company is really good,with speed, and uptime, barring a router dieing on their end, or some other system breakdown, i rarely ever get dissconnected.

so, what really annoys me is all the poser wannabe "hackers" out there that are nothing more than script kiddies with a few port scanners.
oh, stupid people online annoy me too, for some reason i randomly get IM'ed by people asking for tech support, right after they break something, 9 times out of 10,there running windows 98, or windows xp (no sp), with no updates, no firewall, no av scanner, no spyware/malware scanner, and just got done downloading and installing some exe file from a p2p network, or a site ending in .ru or .nu, or looking at this really cool attachment they recieved in an email.

Also, one other thing that annoys me is people who foreward me every danged thing in the world, I hate forewards, I block forewards, and what ever it is they are sending me isnt even interesting or funny, its usually some stupid chain letter that if i foreward to 10 people in the next 5 minuits, will magicially get the girl i like to come have hot sex with me, and if i dont foreward that email, the same girl is going to come over and kill me.

other than that, ive got my computer on lockdown.

Guess everybody hates a slow connection.

Viruses and spyware/malware - This one is bad. On my old computer, I had a lot of spyware clogged up on my hard drive, and everything was slow. When I downloaded a spyware cleaner it detected over 200 traces of spyware, when I get rid of it, my computer performance increased. Spyware companies who creates this kind of malicious software should be shot.

Annoying popup windows - This is annoying but doesn't bother me too much. I could live with it.

Slow connection - Yep, bad indeed. Paided for high speed cable connection and at some point I'm treated with a slow connection, it would definately piss off anybody.

Spam - Doesn't bother me too much, don't pay any attention to them.

Random disconnections - Hardly get any random disconnections when I got cable. I would have voted for this one if I had dialup. Hate it when it randomly disconnects you from the internet, especially when your downloading something.

if your getting a bunch of security pop ups for spyware removal you have spyware on your system.

best to run a few scans and delete the temps and tracking cookies that force the pop ups.

Yep, spyware is also responsible for bombarding your computer witha annoying popup ads. Best to install a spyware cleaner that is active at startup at work to prevent spyware from installing on your computer especially if your using Internet Explorer. Tracking cookies is a common problem with IE when you visit various websites.

one cause of random disconnections is too many internet temp files.
its a good habit to remove temp and internet temp files.
start/my computer/right click hard drive/properties/disc cleanup.

the only thing I hate about my internet now is that my home page was hijacked by a spyware removal site. It's so annoying.
