Ok poem from me.
Kudos to anyone who can figure out what anime this is based off.

The world drifts on
And I look back
the others wonder
I attack

No hesitation
In my mind
When others run
Ill be behind

To keep the way
To know there safe
Id rather be
In no other place

Out of time
I turn my head
There far away
And now im dead

My fight is over
And all are gone
I sheath my sword
And pray to god

I thank him
For what hes done
Forgive my sins
Beneath this sun

they draw near
My death is nigh
And then in wonder
I see bolts fly

The men they fall
And then hes there
Im riding with him
The trumphets blare

The fight is over
And im alive
They honor my
I stand my

I watch the stars
By the night
And I wonder
Why we fight

Then a giant
comes to be
And he takes me
to be free.

Awesome poem, but I can't say I know what anime it's from... I'd say Evangelion, but I don't recall Shinji ever having a sword ^_^
