which manga-anime is on par with Bleach ?

No doubt Bleach is one of the best anime-manga ever ! It is very obvious ! It is undisputable !
The quality of fashion taste, storylines and battles are simply splendid. It is a work of super genius.

Now many anime-manga can reach the level of Bleach so we can spot some really good ones easily.

which anime-manga do you think is near to the level of Bleach?
I would say Fullmetal Alchemist and Naruto without filler.

yeah FMA is always first in my book because it opened my eyes to good anime. Also bersek, Frutis basket, and naruto is pretty damn good as well

I have the same feelings as the original poster! =)
The first anime i saw was Naruto, then FMA - now Bleach. I just love the way they combine story with fighting scenes. No excessive blood all over the place, like i've heard about in "Nokoto no Ken" (spelling? :) dont know the name.. something like that)


Wish Naruto would come back on track. I'm sick of these fillers. I mean, one year -- Hellooooo? ^^

Bleach is currently my favorite anime. But my favorite anime of all time, Even though it only lasted one season and ended on a cliff hanger is "Berserk" an other guy with a big ass sword, If you watch the whole season by the time it ends, You will feel that guys hatred and pain. I highly reccomend it

Samurai 7 hands down is just as good as Bleach and Full Metal Alchemist

I really like the Full Metal Panic! series, despite it being in the mecha genre which I normally can't stand. It has a good balance of action, comedy, and drama.

berserk is a really good anime and i just finished the last disc of samurai 7..pretty awesome i think that both of them are on par with bleach...oh yea ninja scrolls the first one and the series are good too.

Uh, Bleach is far from one of the best. It's a good shounen series, but it stops there. A shounen series. Saying stuff like Fullmetal (which is shounen too, but wow, some deep shit) and Berserk are on par with Bleach is kind of....insulting to FMA and Berserk :B

I may be one of the few that doesn't care for FMA or Naruto. Anime or manga.

I do however adore Hellsing. To an unhealthy level I'm sure, and now that they're making the OVA more like tha manga than the previous 13 orders, I'm even happier. But if it's on par with Bleach is all matter of personal opinion. And I feel it, along with Saiyuki, is.

Bleach is longer than both by far, but they all pull me into the story.
And that's my two cents.

Blood+ is surprising really good. Gorely but really good. The story goes really deep and it's almost about to end. Only 8 more episodes then it's over, I'm kinda sad by it.

Haven't enjoyed any manga as much as i enjoy the Bleach manga. Mostly thx to all of the minor things(cloths, words, suprises) and characters.
But Bleach have far more potential for a great story then we have seen this far(sry to say it but without permanent death you can't go as deep)

If we only see at the story then the FMA manga is atleast as good as Bleach.
The FMA anime... meh... its good but nothing special(manga far better same goes for Bleach)

THey just changed some of the best & most emotional parts to just be something boring compared to.



As for anime: The only anime that has ever made tears appear in my eyes from anything but laughter: "Ginga Nagareboshi Gin" also know as silver fang.
This is the anime to see if you want to see someone who will go to death before giving up.(several main characters die, and not just a simpel death like 1 shot, here it's stuff like: Drowning to kill an opponent, getting impaled, getting beaten to death while you get humiliatet and lot's of other stuff.

That anime mainly focus on these main subjects: Hunting, Friendship, Honour, War & Death.

Full Metal Alchemist, One Piece and Kino no Tabi. There begins and ends my list of comparable series to Bleach. Bleach has a superficial coolness that exceeds anything I've seen by a mile, FMA is extremely dark yet also touching and well... cool, Kino no Tabi is thought-provoking and One Piece is just One Piece, by far the most unique series I've ever seen, it manages to escape seeming formulaic whilst actually being utterly formulaic.
