By the way, this may sound like it's about a heartache from a relation, but that's not what it's about. If people want I can try to explain.

Heartless

Oh beloved Loveless
do you see what I am
my name is Heartless
will you be able to understand?

You of all people
know the pain of holding
one so dear to you
what have I to hold?

Physical pain will not compare
to the fresh scar within
it's not fair is it
having to carry a secluded mind.

Why does the knife carve
the heart burns when worn so
worn on the outside like the skin
delicate to a reckless touch

I am Heartless
take back what I brought
for it comes from nothing
this is regret not pride you see

The acts of hate
tore everything apart
both inside and out
until light itself vanished

To become Heartless
by one's own faults
perhaps you know the pain Loveless
of losing a precious gift
of turning
Heartless

The personification really works great in this poem, the only thing bothering me a bit here is this:
the heart burns when worn so
worn on the outside like the skin
i dunno, it just doesn't feel so good :P

but overall it's absolutely great :)
