...first thing everyone shud know.......gin is a bastard..who doesnt give a damn who he kills n who dies.....he watched hinamori got stabbed....n earlier..... he was even going to shoot her too......when hitsugaya dodged his attack on the rooftop......then matsumoto stopped his sword with hers......undoubtedly.....her blade was also on the verge of breaking.....no way she can win against gin.no fricking way...gin couldve jsut killed anyone standing in his way at tht time...including matsumoto....but he retracted his blade anyway........tht action alone is showing a lot......for an evil guy like him...........he deeply cares about matsumoto.

You don't even know anything about him, no one does. Only matsumoto does, thats why she has had flash backs about him. Gin is an enigma, dont just say things like '' hes a bastard '' because he watched Hinamori get stabbed. We have no idea what went on his head when that happened. =P Maybe he is evil, but since we know virtually nothing about his intentions we can't say anything. And when he retraced his blade it shows that he cares about her.

I think Gin is capable of loving someone... And I DO think that he and matsumoto got up to something just before he went into Hueco Monde thingy... he looked all sad when he said sorry to her. Ichimaru might have had a REALLY depressing life and was deprived of everything... maybe he learned to smile during his sadness as a child and so now he smiles all the time... >.> even though he has a permanent smile its like he will never truly be happy... its so sad! ( just what i think...)

Also, seeing that in that flash back that matsumoto had as a street child, Ichimaru also looked like a street kid. I think he was just a poor street kid like Renji and Rukia. Well, we know nothing about his past, but we do know that he is not completely emotionless... his sorry towards Matsumoto seemed genuine. ='(

I don't see any love either, based on the anime, I see nothing more than a connection, since they knew each other for a long time and always been in the same place (SS).
