Konami and Majesco are teaming up to bring you Strawberry Shortcake DDR (http://kotaku.com/gaming/top/strawberry-shortcake-dance-dance-revolution-announced-188071.php).

Strawberry Shortcake Dance Dance Revolution lets players experience the exciting action of DDR with a Strawberry Shortcake twist. Featured characters include Strawberry Shortcake, Blueberry Muffin, Raspberry Torte, Lemon Meringue and Rainbow Sherbet dancing along with themed music such as "Straw-Buh-Buh-Buh-Buh-Berry Shortcake." As a Plug'N'Play product, Strawberry Shortcake Dance Dance Revolution connects directly to a television set without a game console, delivering an interactive experience on a custom Strawberry Shortcake dance pad. The game features a two player mode and multiple difficulty settings that make it easy for players of all ages to enjoy, while the game's lively music makes it a great source of active fun for the whole family.

Apparantly it's one of the plug-and-play TV setups, so no console is required.

this isnt something i would want to play. although i find DDR fun and exciting, Strawberry Shortacke DDR seem for, well...a younger generation of DDR fans..

I would prefer to stay with the older versions that require a mat and console...>.>

this just shows you that DDR is like stock it will go down and come back up (when DDR SUPERNOVA, Ultramix 4 and Universe for 360 are released) and go back down again (a DDR Disney game in the works)

everything has it ups and downs, but this is a DOWN. and the Disney one you are speaking of most likely wont sell either.

just like that shitty DDR Mario Mix for gamecube

yeah, that did look like a failure. Mario should be stuck with tennis, karting, and partying.

DDR at its best (in my opinion) would be DDR ultramix3. Konami should stay with what they have done, but improve the mistakes they make in previous DDRs, though there are very few.
