Ok, apparently, Tousen, Komamura and Ichimaru all served under him. When reviewing 62, Aizen acts like Komamura was supposed to be helping him...

Yeah just going back through the episodes >_<

No, Komamura is not working for Aizen. He's on the good side.

yea he was trying to convince tousen to come baq to the good side....and it would be "strange" for komamura to be evil =\

Yeah, he was mainly there for Tousen, but yeah, he's on the good side and stuff.

As everyone has already said, he's not on Aizen's side. He was pissed off at Aizen since he turned Tousen against Soul Society. Aizen was planning to kill Komamura because he interrupted his monologue and would have if the spell hadn't failed.

Komamura must have admired Aizen but now Aizen has turned on Soul Society so Komamura has turned on Aizen.

Right after Komamura tried to surprise attack Aizen. Aizen said it to Komamura.

My theory is Komamura was "in" on the idea of getting the jewel(forgot the Japanese name), but not it's execution.

Komamura has said that he is completely loyal to Yamamoto since he took him in despite his appearance. I don't think Komamura would go against the one guy who wasn't repelled by Komamura's true appearance.

aizen pwns komamura.... komamura questions tousens revolt and alliance with aizen... i doubt heartly komamura is evil/on aizens side...

Yeah, as has already been said, Komamura's 'close friends/allies' were Yamamoto and Tousen. Beacause Tousen went with Aizen, he is kinda annoyed so that's why he takes active action against Aizen. But he wouldn't join him because he's hella faithful to Yamamoto.

I agree with gdo01, "What is with this change of heart Komamura?" probably means, that he once admired Aizen but now he's turned against him.

Remember, Renji was in 5th squad as well (wasn't he?!!?!) and he's not on Aizen's side. He also fought again't him. So, there we are.
