No, Hitsugaya and Ishida never fight. They show a lot of stuff in the openings that never actually happens. Like Soi Fon vs. Sado, and (in the current opening) Byakuya and Urahara in human clothes.

No, Ishida has not even met Hitsugaya face to face in any scene shown in the anime or manga.

In case you guys haven't noticed, a lot happens in the intro's that we'll never actually see... another example would be in the current opening where Buyakuya and Hitsugaya are shown removing themselves from gigais... Chances are this will never happen either. But they show it. So don't take the intros too seriously...

It doesn't actually happen.

Just how they show Hitsu fighting bounto in the 4th opening and that's not happening (yet, at least, after watching episode 90).
