Reputation POINTS...

Hey everybody,
I thought I would write a thread explaining the little green squares under your avatar. These little green squares are an indicator for the amount of reputation points you have obtained. On every post that a member makes there is the option to give them negative or postive reputation points for their post. For example if someone starts a thread that you found interesting give them some rep points, or if someone makes a point that you agree with, or if someone answers a question you need the answer to give them rep points. All you have to do is click the little silver balance inside the left column(where the avatar is) and give some rep points. I think this will be very good for the community because people will feel like their post meant something, or maybe your post was really bad you get some neg. I hope some people read this and start to participate. Thanks for reading!

i have both given and received rep points but i havent seen a noticable difference. i think it requires a much higher number of points to really make a difference, but i dont know for sure since this is the first time ive ever put some thought into it.

Well honestly I didnt notice it so I didnt gave out any rep points and I dont think that someone gave them to me ;d but I dont think its that important tho ;x

the one time i gave out rep points was to see if it would do anything, like the kid and the big red button, you just gotta know if it does anything. i found it did next to nothing and i think your rep isnt a number but an impression on everyone elses mind. how you act is how you're seen, and that is your true rep.

I think I've given them out a couple times since then...and I got some once. *shrugs* Guess it's not terribly important.

yeah, i am not sure what happens. the box hasn't changed yet.

don't know appears that everyone is on a distinguished road. that would be great to advance somewhat.

I think you need 100 reputation points to achieve the next level green box thing. I don’t really understand the system either. I've been on 10 rep points for a while now. People have added to my rep but it hasn’t changed. I don’t really care about it tho.

we all have 10 i believe, you start with 10 and im guessing if they disapprove it goes down and you get banned >< or sumtin like that.
