Which Gotei 13 division, would you be most likely to join?

I think divisions that aren't given a specific title (Such as Byakuya's, Kaname's, Komamura's, Hitsugaya's, Kyouraku's, Ukitake's, and any other's I missed) are basic hollow slaying divisions. Their squads don't really specialize in much, so they're the majority of hollow slayers.

The Onmitsu Kidou are used for reconnaisance and delivering messages, The medical team is obviously just for support, the science team would never really fight outside of seireitei, sans the rookies, and division 11 is for Ryoka, and I would assume lesser menos as well as hollows, and so forth.

Id join division 11 , Zaraki Kenpachi seemz awsome to have as a captain. Id go for squad 6 too, because of Kuchiki Byakuya and Renji. 3rd division is my last, i think therez really another side to Ichimaru Gin :redbiggri , at least hes always optimistic about life and not as cold looking all the time as other captains.

I'd be in 4, of course, squad 14 by preference...healer/medics are more valuable than you'd think, and often know much more than given credit for. A dustpan and broom, with the right set of eyes, ears and brain attached, can be a crucial asset...never ever underestimate your support team...

If to be under anyone's command, my first choice would be Hitsugaya in 10th Squad as he is undoubtedly my favourite Captain. Hitsugaya being the youngling and newly promoted also leads me to believe that his true potential has not yet been discovered even by his comrades. However the points made about Kenpachi's Squad and the pushing to the limits is also something I would admire in a Captain of mine. With that said though, up until episodes of late, his stubborness and ignorance might be seen to hold me back knowing that other Captains have superior skills than him, even though his strength quite obviously surpasses the others.

A better idea indeed to have your own Squad, though I wouldn't personally choose to be the leader of said Squad, it would be my Squad, yes, but I would position other Captains from others Squads as the leaders. Hitsugaya and Kenpachi, both as equals, with me as a 3rd commander. I would use them as training partners in raising my skills, and theirs of course. This Squad would take on a whole new prospect, the Trident Squad, commanded by 3. ^__^

Please bear in mind I do not read the Manga's and have no idea of forthcomming events, and if any response is made to this, I wish not to be informed of anything that may inadvertantly be a spoiler.

Ever since I first saw Ichimaru I had a feeling that there was something very sinister about him. He's the only one who's eyes you do not see, and most of the expression in the characters visage is portrayed through the eyes. To me, it seems like there's a plot line there that is supposed to be hidden from the viewers until such a time as all becomes clear. (Either this, or he's stoned 24/7)

To me it seems that everytime something suspect happens, he's in the background. Aizen's initial suspiscions, the killing of Aizen, the jailing of Hinomari, the whole scene at the Gate of Pure Spirits with Jidanbou, with the initial outburst between Kira on Gin...everything seems to revert back to Gin.

My very first thoughts about Ichigo and co getting into Soul Society were that it was a set up from the begining, which has been a distant thought in my mind ever since.

Rukia comming to Ichigo.
The hollows attacking his familly and thusly the transferring of Rukia's power to Ichigo.
The fight with Renji on the bridge before Byakuya took Rukia back to Soul Society for her crimes.
Rukia specifically commanding Ichigo not to follow her. (As so far, everything she has old him to do, he's directly dissobeyed)

I also wonder just exactly how Urahara fits into this. He seems to be too powerfull and has a reputation that superceedes his presence, too much to merely be a 10 day master to Ichigo in the training of his fighting style and understanding of his power.

What this boils down to in the end of my theory is that perhaps this was all a set up to get Ichigo into Soul Society for some purpose, to see if he has the power, the potential, the skills required to truly become a Death God.

Merely a theory, a farout theory none the less. Hope you enjoyed it. ^_~

I would fit well in either 8th or 13th division. Their captains are really cool and close to their squad members. Not to mention their righteousness and morality.

I would never join 3th and 12th divisions, because Gin is really a sinister man (we see his eyes in his Hoshi-Boushi ending, that makes him a BILLION times CREEPIER), and because of the legshredder priest, which I don't need to describe.

Somehow, being Vice-Captain in Gotei 13 wouldn't be bad, because you can date either Nemu, Momo or Matsumoto :biggrinlove between two gulps of sake (gulp gulp spkarle sparkle !!!)

We don't know much about the Demon Art Brigade... Anyway, that could be a great alternative. Maybe there are divisions in there, and Capts, and Vices, etc.

5th - Captain Aizen Sousuke: He looks like a pretty nice guy to have as a captain. Not weird like clown boy or like Ichimaru *shudders*.

10th - Captain Hitsugaya Toushirou - also looks like a pretty decent person. Besides, he looks just plain cool. =P

12th - Only if Urahara Kisuke came back....

I honestly don't see being drawn to the stronger squads like 6 and 11. In all honesty, I wouldn't want either of those guys as my captain.

1) he's always sick, so i don't see when he has time to actually be a captain. I bet captain unohana of the 4th division could beat him.

2)There is no lieutenant for the group.

But a captain that cannot protect himself in times of danger cannot protect his subordinates...u can see it in anime number...uhmm...i forgot, but when he runs behind the posessed kaien to protect Rukia, he falls over sick. A captain isn't measured on how good he is but how well he acted towards the situation.

for an example of a good captain hitsugaya thought something was wrong witht the centeral command and went there. The point is that ukitake did not think of destroying the hollow but trying to save kaien. He might be kind and all that but his kindness has its effect on his strength.

Simple carring orders and don't breakin rules is not always the best. Byakuya wanted to kill rukia his own sister because of the rules. If he would acomplish that and rukia would be executed by soukyaku andAizen would get what he wanted without any problems. Maybe he could even hide the fact he is not dead. So byakuya's action was wrong. Maybe if byakuya would not be so persistent to obey rules rukia would not get death penalty. And maybe then Aizen would not get hoghaku(or whatever that thing is called) .
